5 -stars... This was a nice little find. I originally came in for the tri color cookies which looked great on their social media posts. I ordered the grilled chicken and vegetable sandwich. It was great, it was filling and very reasonable at $12. I also ordered the Tri -Color cookies which were great as well. Prices are fair, the two women at the counter were friendly and kept all the customers happy. They have sandwiches, square pizza by the slice, personal size pizza, cakes cookies, Italian specialities, oil, coffee, drinks and of course bread. There is outside seating and unfortunately no inside seating as it is a small space. I would highly recommend them and will try some of their other items like cakes or pastries next time. read more

Ever single thing sweet or savory in this bakery is amazing. Whatever you are getting get a mini pizza too. Their sandwiches are also great. I had a friend ask me where I had gotten my birthday cake (white cake with canolli cream filling and whipped cream outside) so she could go there because she was dreaming about it. I gotta try any bakery's cannolis if I'm in the area, and I gotta say, this place's cannolis look pretty spot on with the candied fruit on top and the cannoli cream that looks fresh. Taste wise though, honestly I think they're just okay. The cream isn't as smooth as I would have thought and it's not very sweet either. The shell is a little soggy as well so overall, just an okay cannoli. The oreo cake I got as well is a little lackluster. No real Oreo flavor at all, even though there's so much of it baked it, I can't taste any of it. I got a few other things on other visits like their sandwiches or one of their big filled cookies and most of them are just fine, nothing really great about them though which is a letdown. Bread Plus has coffee in different flavors. In the morning, I brought a XL cup of pignoli one for $2.75. It tastes exactly like the actual cookies. I went there later at 4pm to get buy another cup; unfortunately, they were sold out. My friend brought cupcakes to celebrate Easter and I had one; it was quite moist inside. UPDATE: Ive been stopping here nearly daily for lunch. You got to try their hero's and pizza. The hero's and paninis are made on their bread that's made here. Not many places can claim that. Pro tip, if they ask to press it you press it. The pizza here is some of the lightest pizza I've had. The Sicilians squares are huge but light with a nice crisp. I'm probably one of the few who's late on this breadplus place. Yes; I know I've been missing out. It's a cute corner store that I did not know that can be filled with so much delicious food. When I ask my coworkers what's good here? They say "everything." I was also told the pizza and rolls are must get. So I decided to stop and try a sausage and pepper roll, cannolis, bread, and pizza dough. So far in all my visits, it had not disappoint. Went in for a strawberry short cake, see prior review, I glowed about this cake, and this time purchased one of their chocolate strawberry short cakes. The cake had just a tiny hint of tasting chocolate. I don;;t think the whip cream was real whip cream. The strawberries were covered in some canned 'something' and the strawberries themselves were not ripe. This was an expensive cake. It was disappointing. Driving home after the party, I stopped at Shoprite supermarket on Ave I and McDonald and for $ 12.00 purchased a small chocolate strawberry short cake, labelled 'store made' and it was simply fresh, with real whipped cream, good strawberries and a real taste of chocolate. The manager Joe has no idea what a cookie cake should look like. I ordered a heart shaped cookie cake for my daughters 21st birthday. What I got was a bunch of round cookies put together in a shape of a heart like a pull away cookie with icing. I am so upset. He was disrespectful to me in the phone when I called to discuss. I was charged $125 dollars for 10 cookies with icing on top. The manager could have apologized but he told me that I probably do this everywhere I go. Nasty Human. I will never use this bakery again.
