Make sure you order and make a deposit at least 2 weeks in advanced to secure your spot! On the day of my little one's birthday party, my hubs and I went to pick it up. Once Crystal pulled it out of the fridge, my eyes lite up! My little girl's birthday cake was even MORE BEAUTIFUL than in photos!!! Crystal and Jimmy worked with me to create the most beautiful and delicious 100 days cake for my nephew! It easily fed 60 people and there was even enough for me to take home as well. Everyone was blown away by how beautiful the cake is! So many people said that usually colorful cakes are not as tasty, but this cake is different. We got a cream cake with fruit fillings. This is a complicated one to explain. I say this because if you are from a Chinese household, you may not be entirely blown away knowing the filling is mixed fruit. For reference, mixed fruit is the standard typical in cakes at all Chinese bakeries...and I mean all. However, the quality of the cream, vanilla sponge cake paired with fresh mangos, strawberries and cantaloupes were a game changer. The cream was like sweet whipped butter. So good. The process to order the cake was also very pleasant. They were very helpful and did everything overnight. I ordered the cake last minute for a morning pick up. They initially said they had a booked start to the morning but managed to squeeze my order in. With just a hair behind schedule but nothing major. Just 20 minutes which is still very impressive considering the lack of time. It is not your average $40-60 cake though. The price range in fact doubles but, I rather choose a delicious cake with some customization in the design than to have a mediocre cake with no options. My family loved the design and yes, for a minute they were like "what? it's a fruit cake?"...but appreciated every bite after. PS, They also have shaved ice and other drinks at the location. We ordered a chocolate mousse bear we saw on display, Matcha Shaved Ice, and Waffle with Ice Cream & Mix Fruit. At first, I was skeptical but the desserts surprisingly weren't bad! The waffle was hard but fruits were sweet and complimented the ice cream well. The Matcha Shaved Ice was, you guessed it, bitter, but not a problem when you mix it with their taro ice cream.
