    Breakfast sandwich -delicious!
    Katie E.

Was hoping to order maffles, but they were out. So we ordered the breakfast burrito and breakfast sandwich. The burrito was ok, probably would not order that again (and not the end of the world, but there were pieces of eggshells in our burritos), but we both thought breakfast sandwich was delicious! Definitely would recommend it. Coffee was fine. Not the best. Iced coffee tasted a little watered down, so wish it had more of a bitter stronger taste of coffee. Overall, friendly staff and service was great, so I rated a 4 stars.

We had the Almond Roca cold brew and iced Honey Maple latte. Friendliest service! Recommend going early in case they run out!

A small coffee shop located in Old Koloa Town, Ali'i Coffee is a great starting point to exploring the area. They have some great options for caffeine boosts and serve breakfast all day! I ordered an iced Anahola Honey, which is a latte sweetened with local honey. If you enjoy the taste of honey, you'll agree that this drink hits the spot. The honey flavor is not subtle at all and although it's sweet, I didn't think it was too much. Service was relatively fast but if there's a long line, feel free to take a break in the seating area to the right of the counter. There's also free water refill stations too!

Staff was super friendly. I got an iced mocha which was really good. also tasted their mango matcha which was not bad. Would definitely go again.

They have indoor seating, a covered patio and bistro seats out in the sun. All the seating options for all the weather or moods. The people making coffee are darlings. We all loved our drinks. I ordered an ube cappuccino that came out neither foamy nor purple but whatever it was it was delish. Great flavor to the coffee. My sister's iced mocha was great. The matcha was also a great flavor.

Service was good, the barista was by herself so she definitely hustled to keep the line moving. She was still very friendly and helpful despite how busy she was, which I appreciated a lot. What i also liked was that they had interesting signature beverages. I ordered the taro ube and really liked it. It wasn't too sweet, it was quite light and refreshing, actually, so I really enjoyed it. Would recommend and come back again!

Great spot with easy access and a few outdoor seating. We ordered the Iced Chai Tea Latte w/ oatmilk and the Iced Taro Ube w/ oatmilk. I came for the Taro Ube and was disappointed. I thought it would be sweet. It tasted like dirt actually haha. Don't mean to be rude. The Chai Tea Latte was good and would order that again. Maybe it was just made poorly. I'd give the place another chance or just order something other than that. Very friendly place. Iced Chai Tea Latte: 4.5/5 Iced Taro Ube: 2/5

Tea was alright. Local Breakfast sandwich was ok. Long wait for the food but the worker did give us a heads up about it. Few tables and chairs in front to sit n eat.

Delicious coffee, efficient and friendly service, and tasty food. Love the variety of latte flavors. The turkey avocado was nice and toasted with tasty veggies and mayo topping. There's outdoor seating and some that is covered as well.

If you're looking for a morning/lunch sweet treat; food and/or drinks, look no further. Ali'i Coffee is a small coffee shop with friendly staff, quite a few options on their menu and its approved by kids as well (mine and I've seen other families with kids trying out their sweet treats for breakfast). There are also a few savory breakfast/lunch quick eat options as well. Had to try their taro ube latte...super rich in color, flavor and sweetness made it feel like you were drinking a dessert. A couple of sips and it was done. I also ordered the Prince Latte (caramel & sea salt). This drink had more of a stronger coffee flavor which is what I was looking for. We shared the Maffles (mochi waffles) and the kids devoured it and left me one bite. As some of the others have mentioned, it is a bit expensive but it is the going rate for "signature" coffee's in the SF Bay Area. The counter to view the menu and place your order is covered and there's a small area inside if you wanted to sit down and eat/drink. Bonus; bring your water bottle and they have a filtered water station right outside to fill your bottle.

Great place to start your day. Walk past Old Koloa Town to the Koloa Village and you'll find Ali'i Coffee. Walk up and order at the window. Friendly staff, and food & drinks come out quick. Plenty of seating in an indoor air-conditioned room, or outdoor on the patio. Breakfast burrito tasted great, and was filling. It went great with a cup of their coffee. My only regret was not trying them earlier in my trip. I found them on my last day but I'll be back. Go check 'em!

Taro Ube Latte- espresso, taro powder, ube extract, steamed milk, sugar
    Liz W.

The taro ube latte was 10/10. So much flavor and depth, slightly sweetened, would come back for more. Breakfast croissant sandwich was average, very hearty and filling with a side of chips. Very slow service but hey, it's island time.

    Mochi waffles
    Grace S.

The Ube latte was great! But the mochi waffles was out of this world. Was visiting kuaui for a week and went on a coffee date with my hubby here. Staff is friendly and everything was fast. I wanna go back already!

The flatbread was tasty, with home made tomato sauce and loaded with prosciutto, but it was overly salty. The lamb was excellent, the polenta that went with it was a little dry. The fish had a pesto coating. It was nice but nothing special. The steak was cooked perfectly with a nice crust while the inside was medium rare, and came with delicious mushrooms, potatoes and asparagus. We sat on the patio but they call the main dining room however it is outside. The host and the servers were very nice on both days helping us choose our dishes and beverages. The first night were shared the shrimp and unui (sp?) patties. They were tasty and slightly sweet but over-charred and the sauce served with them did not complement them very well. It needed a fresher sauce or something with a little kick The first night I Had the chicken Which is actually a tiny little bird I should've known from the name. - pouisson. It was well cooked, but there was very little meat on all of the bones. And also needed a sauce of some kind. The one baby bok choy was a nice addition. Two of the group had the fish and chips it was made with swordfish that night and was very tasty. However, the chips were slightly limp and not hot. No one wanted to return them, but they really were not very good. One of the other entrées was the veggie bowl with seared Aji tuna and it had quinoa at the bottom with lots of roasted beets and other vegetables. It was a very good dish. The second time I ordered the grilled seafood bowl because that night they were offering Oppa as the grilled fish on the kebabs/skewers that were served on top of the bowl the seafood was cooked, absolutely perfectly, and it had pickled cucumbers, pickled red onions, slightly cooked carrots, and then regular cucumbers on top of lightly dressed soba noodles. It was a very tasty and hearty bowl. We also ordered a kale, beet and blue cheese salad for the table, but what came out was their strange version of Caesar salad, which has chickpeas on it which of course we did not want. It took them quite a while to bring the kale and beet salad to the table, however when they did, it was quite tasty a combination I would not have thought of on my own The first night we ordered the passionfruit cheesecake which had a strange chocolate crust that was too thick and a very light topping of passionfruit. It was fine, but we would not order it again. The whole restaurant is a nice change from all of the really overpriced offerings in the area. The food is fresh and tasty and the service is professional and fun at the same time.

The flavor of the Thai basil chicken was really good though with lots of wok hay. The quantity of the larb chicken was at least twice as much as the Thai basil chicken. It was milder, but it was still tasty. They also serve sushi rolls however I'm not quite at the point of feeling comfortable paying $25 for one roll of sushi. PURCHASE(S) Mucho Aloha Brewhouse Lowdown Lager Beer 2.7% ABV 16floz Draft ($4.00 HH): Bright amber color, dank malty aroma, light body, dank malty sweet watery flavor, crisp finish, and dank malty aftertaste. Way too light and watery for me. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=ao_00rfkLvpprP7tqtocKw 4pc Loco Wings Hot ($12.00 HH): At $3.00/ea, these were small, had minimal meat, and weren't as hot as I'd hoped. They had a nice crisp but that was it. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=vWzbIQjk8kj7OPNVi3Gm9Q 3pc Grilled Fish Tacos & Tortilla Chips ($26.00): The fish portion was nice but a bit dry and I should've had this beer-battered instead, while the chopped red cabbage was plentiful but needed some flavor. The tortilla chips and salsa were fine. I was very disappointed, especially at nearly $9.00/taco. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=RywnYkqzivVoxLrTGNhFqQ Mucho Aloha Brewhouse Pineapple Xpress Hazy IPA Beer 6.0% ABV 16floz Draft ($10.00): Bright hazy amber color, fruity pineapple tropical aroma, light body, fruity hoppy pineapple flavor, smooth finish, and hoppy pineapple tropical aftertaste. This was tasty! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=yS3FrT5LrTw6R_ih5fxiew Stickers ($2.00 x2): I loved stickers and would commonly place them on walls of other breweries. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=Y-278vH82cxUx30kRbplVA Souvenir Grey Logo T-Shirt M ($35.00): I certainly didn't need another t-shirt! However, I really liked the graphic - damn marketing! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=AnyPNLfj7DdHn7bu28d_Gw Service Charge 3.0% ($2.73): More businesses did this to try and offset costs. SERVICE Warmly greeted by a friendly female and male behind the bar, I took a moment to browse the beer and food menu, then shortly ordered, my beer was ready immediately, I was given a table number, and I found a place out on the patio. Minutes later, a young man delivered my food. There was a self-serve water station outside next to the trash station where you dumped your trays and such. It was all chill - mahalo! PARKING (Varied; N/A this instance): I took the bus, so this wasn't an issue for me. Otherwise, there appeared to be some onsite parking with spots along the main drag of Koloa Rd. and other side streets - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A casual layout where inside https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=POhPn0Zopr86aF1051Ijvg was the bar/order counter, a visible brewing system, some bar stools, and several tables, while a spacious outdoor patio https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=pRAKlJPfih0NquB62jOkPA with table benches and umbrellas, there were plenty of places to sit. Plenty of natural lighting both inside and on the patio while an assortment of electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several muted TVs inside while indie rock music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=kTpING_-FpvVQxvfEFzRwA ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL I would consider visiting Mucho Aloha Brewhouse again just to try more of their beers for a better sense since I absolutely didn't like one but loved another. They had only 10 beers https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=Zew6wCI-Rs8kV7253Y56tQ on tap, the food https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=120&select=IwK6jloTkDRzbn6oZiJJfA wasn't happening for me, the prices were elevated (especially the food), and the service was good. Furry family members were allowed outside! Daily happy hour specials (2pm-5pm) and almost certain nightly entertainment such as trivia, music, and more was available. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $98.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 4.0 STARS
