    Midnight Marauder
    Alison V.

I stopped by for a late morning coffee and avoided the mid morning lines. Despite no line I had to wait a few minutes before someone came over to take my order. Service wasn't particularly friendly either. I tried out the midnight marauder and it was super strong (it does have 4 shots of espresso after all). I don't think they have many other iced espresso or lattes, so I'll probably stick to alternatives closeby.

It was pretty busy when my wife and I came here at 10:30am on a Wednesday. The cashier corrected us when we ordered a caramel macchiato and said it was just what Starbucks calls it and it's just a caramel latte. I used to work for Starbucks so I wasn't going to cause a big stink about it. So we just ordered that with oat milk. The drink itself was pretty mid, but idk. Probably skip next time.

Got in line at 7:01 and waited about 30 minutes in line to order. We waited about another 10 minutes for our food. We enjoyed the breakfast bagel and lox bagel. The acaci bowl was way to watery. We should have listened to the other reviews! I enjoyed the Mac nut latte. The banana bread wasn't our favorite. It was a bit too sweet and was either previously refrigerated or frozen. I would come back for the bagels and lattes if the line didn't look too long. I'm considering trying out the online ordering next time.

Got there around 7:30am and waited about 15 minutes to order. Staff was so friendly and patient. Lots of wildlife, easy parking and great tasting drinks. Lavender matcha latte was delicious and a great price. I tried the black brewed tea which was also great. Coffee was said to be smooth! Great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Lots of people coming and going. Some benches to sit on but took ours to go!

Perfect for a quick stop! Good coffee and a few tables outside while you are waiting.

Good coffee and many smoothie and bowl options. The kids and adults enjoyed the açaí bowls! Fun stop for drinks, breakfast, snacks or brunch.

Coffee was pretty good. We originally went in for a smoothie, but unfortunately the power was out on the side of the shop where they make smoothies, so we couldn't get one. Pretty disappointing, so I ended up getting a coffee instead. It was nothing special by any means, but it was okay.

I LUV this coffee shop!!! The acai bowl was to DIE for. I have never had such great tasting, authentic, and plentiful acai bowl. This is the place to get a good acai cup!!! The Monkey Nuts drink was amazing. I hope I can replicate it. I opted to add espresso which made it better ;). The club zilla sandwich was flavorful and satisfying for the morning hunger. Thank you Little Fish Coffee! When I am in Kauai, i'll be there consistently!

The breakfast bagel here is fire. Add avocado. Our açaí bowl came out a bit watery but that may have been due to the fact that we got it a bit after it was made. Def would recommend the bagel over the açaí if you had to choose though. Pro tip: always order ahead online if you can. You'll save yourself 30-45 mins when it's busy.

What a cute spot on the side of the row. Always busy every time we passed by. My wife and I liked what we got as far as the smoothies. Fresh ingredients. I got a special... bacon and maple scone. Super disappointing. Dry. Little bacon and maple. Not impressed. But overall a cute spot. Plenty of seating and options. Service was good.

Little Fish is a must when you're on the South Shore. Great food, good vibes and just and overall fantastic way to start your island morning! There was a bit of a line when we arrived, but it moved pretty fast. I later learned you can place an order online so it's ready when you get there - good tip for next time! There's covered high-top seating plus plenty of picnic tables in the grassy front yard. Just beware of the roosters... they will help themselves to your food if you're not careful! For drinks, we were both feeling adventurous and ordered the iced Midnight Marauders which was delicious, but it's a lot! We'd probably share next time or try something new. We split the Clubzilla Sandwich and Half a Papaya Granola. Both were soooo good! The Clubzilla was huge and incredibly tasty, and the papaya was loaded with yogurt, bananas, and granola. I could honestly eat it every day. Love it here and can't wait for our next trip to come back!!!

We stayed at a nearby hotel and walked over to Little Fish several times during our stay. If you don't arrive right at opening, a line forms quickly and you'll end up having to wait a bit. Their acai bowls are really good and my husband liked their breakfast sandwiches. I tried their Pakala (chocolate chips, peanut butter, fruit) and Shippy (pineapple, greek yogurt, condensed milk) acai bowls and loved both. A small size was enough for one person. While I love to get an iced coffee with my breakfast, I was not impressed with the iced latte I got the first time we were there so I actually opted out of coffee in our following visits. Line moves slow but your food/drinks come out almost instantly after ordering. There are lots of little tables to sit at and despite the long lines, we never had an issue finding a spot to eat after we got our food.

Awesome breakfast right near Poipu beach. They opened at 7am which is when we arrived and there was already a line. I got the Pakala açaí bowl which was fresh and filling. My boyfriend got the Lox breakfast sandwich which he really liked. We both tried the daily macadamia nut cold foam, mine on the white chocolate macadamia nut latte and his on a vanilla latte--yum!! There is seating but it is limited. Overall we really enjoyed this breakfast spot!

I love Kauai Juice Company. I've loved them since I discovered them the last time I was on island…read more Their hot sauces are soooo good, I brought back 3 full sized ones and 3 little ones for friends. I also love their water bottle. If you buy one, you get a free mango lemonade and you can get a $5 refill anytime. I love their green juices. Unfortunately so does everyone else and they were always out of my favorite green juice by the time I got there. The shop in Koloa is a great location, way better than where they were before. There is more room for customers now. You can get freshly made juices there, or they have a ton of pre made drinks and different souvenirs you can buy as well. The space is large enough for multiple customers, but not too large to where it is overwhelming. Everyone is always nice here, very welcoming. They try to get your order out as soon as possible. Even on my plane ride back to the mainland, the lady sitting next to me had one of their juices for the plane (idk how she snuck it on tbh, but I'm jealous!)

This place is a must try! They have something for everyone…read more Went here twice and service was always fast and friendly. The shop is clean and bright. They have shelves full of products, including honey, olive oil and matcha to name a few. They also have a fridge stocked with grab and go items like their house made salads and soups, as well as their juices and PB. They also sell their brand of honey, beef tallow, and hot sauces. I loved being able to sample all their hot sauces before buying mini bottles to take home (3 for $10)--be warned that some are SUPER spicy (but tasty). Their papaya smoothie bowl with ocean vibes base was AMAZING!! I thought the frozen fruit topping was going to be gross and hard to eat but it has a great chew and was so tasty. Don't even get me started with the passion fruit on it...to die for! The granola and the papaya were also fresh and delicious. Overall I give it 10000/10! I will surely be thinking about it when I'm back home In California. I also tried their Omega This juice that had soursop, orange, mango, dragon fruit, pineapple, and chia seeds and it was soooo refreshing and sweet. I love the addition of whole chia seeds in the drink. I got a Gut Shot ($1) that had kimchi juice to aid my digestive system. I'm a big kimchi lover and this shit was smooth and easy to drink, like a less spicy and slightly sweeter kimchi brine. I also tried their chili and egg breakfast burrito, not a whole lot of flavor and something I wouldn't personally get again. My fiancé liked it though. It's dairy and meat free, but does contain eggs. I liked that it came with 2 sauces on the side, a salsa and an aioli of some sorts. The burrito was a lot better with the aioli. There is patio seating outside in the front and back. We came one day while it was pouring rain but we were able to sit outside without getting wet which I loved so we could eat and watch the rain. Free parking available in front or in the back parking lot of the shopping plaza. Tons of other great food and stores in the plaza that are worth a try as well, including the bakery right next door for some cookies.

=== THE CUTEST. Funnest market we went to. Say hi to G and have lunch there on their front porch!…read more=== We had seen Warehouse 3540 in Lawai on our trips to West Kauai, and after stopping there (also a really great stop but that's another review) walked back to Lawai Market. Super glad we did! Lawai Market has tons of house-made baked goods, a kicking deli section, incredible bread, smoothies, local goods (mostly food kinds), interesting alcohol/spirits, just tons of fun stuff. Counter folks were super friendly, G was especially friendly and helpful, offering recommendations, helping us out, talking story with us, and making us feel at home. Specific thoughts: ++ House-made s'mores bar. Huge portion. Five of us shared one. Topped with toasted marshmallow, then fudge-y brownie, then this incredible crust which seemed like graham cracker shortbread - never had a crust like that. Almost impossible to cut through because it's so wonderfully thick. It literally stays on the knife you use to saw through it. But oh so good. Each bite lasts a long time as you make your way through the layers. + They had more than a dozen other pastries, again, all house-made fresh every day. G says the tres leches cake (beautiful and floating in the cream mixture) and the brownie parfaits are crowd favs. ++ Curried chicken salad. Supreme comfort food but with strong flavors of curry (they don't mess around), raisins, and all sorts of other textures. FILLING - our group of five couldn't eat more than half of the small container and we loved it. ++ Egg salad. Punchier than most egg salads with lots of strong dill. Tended to like the chicken salad more but dug into this when I needed a break from the curry. + Spicy poke. Good and fresh. Personally like the spicy poke from The Musubi Truck better, but this was still solid. Always love the creaminess if the aioli. + Purple power smoothie. You can tell there's something healthy in there - not like your normal straight up sweet smoothie. (I think it's kale.) But this really grew on me. ++ Focaccia. Oh man. Salt crystals on top, great texture to the bread. Our group are bread connoisseurs and they loved this. We went back for a second loaf because we devoured the first one. ++ They have small sizes of everything in their deli which makes getting a selection of a bunch of things for your group easy. We literally sat out there and walked back into the store three or four times to browse and get more items. And walked out with more and more each time. Sitting on their front porch is great too. Yes, the main road goes right by there but lush trees and Kauai greenery abounds on the other side of the road which makes the whole space awesome to hang in. Make this stop - you won't regret it.

Love this little market!…read more They have a small grocery selection as well as hot food and baked goods. Also açaí bowls, smoothies, and coffee. I ordered soft serve with their chocolate haupia flavor and it was amazing. So fresh and creamy and flavorful!
