Stopped here for coffee after the airport. Service was ok and the location was slightly empty... The cold brew was bad. It was so strong that I tossed it. It was almost like pure concentrated death. The latte my wife said was good. Almost better than Starbucks. If that means anything... The star of the show was the chocolate chip banana bread! This was the best banana bread I've ever had! Ha coffee is a bright energy coffee shop. As soon as we arrived, the space was so pleasant and welcoming. There's lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We stopped by for an iced coffee to start the day. I liked their coffee options and seasonal/featured menu. I got the iced Samoan: Mocha + Coconut + Carmel. It was good and refreshing especially on a hot day. They do online orders if you're in a rush too. They are also having night life events too which is exciting! read more

matcha - this was my first time trying this cafe right in the heart of lihue. i was craving some matcha and it's safe to say this one didn't disappoint! i got the iced matcha latte, the worker let me know this usually comes unsweetened, so i added honey. it was the perfect balance of matcha flavor, milk and sweetness. service - i only noticed one person working the cash register and making drinks, but there wasn't too many people when i went so service was quick and easy! ambiance - nice cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. some games outdoors to play as well! read more

Great coffee! Loved the coconut milk samoa iced latte. The banana bread is amazing! Very dense and large enough pieces to share, if you want! I came back another day for a piece, but sadly they were closed Sundays. They no longer have a full food menu, just the banana bread or muffins. Forewarning: there are only drinks served for the time being I'm not sure how long so we were only able to get drink. They were delicious though! I got a chai which was perfect spicy and sweet and I forgot to ask for dirty but I'd recommend because the coffee is exquisite! The Samoan latte is amazing. The chai with oatmilk cinnamon and Carmel is also great. They sweeten it with honey as well. Would recommend as the service is friendly and drinks are yummy! There may not be a lot of parking as it is alongside a road but they will be moving into a building across the street in a couple weeks. read more

Went to Ha coffee over the weekend. Google posts their time as 7:00am open but they actually are open at 8:00am! We walked in thinking it was open, only to double check and see it opened at 8:00am. The barista was super nice about it though, since I know they were still setting up. They still served our coffees which was sweet of them. We got some of their signatures, the Bee Sting and the Samoan- super tasty! I got mine half sweet, which was perfect for me who likes the sweet and bitter taste combined. Great space, espresso palate was so-so, compared to other spots on the island I'd give it a 4 but compared to coffees I have had worldwide and nationwide I'd give it a 3. If you are a coffee snob you won't be able to get a breve here that meets your palate. I couldn't drink the cap once it cooled down. Prompt service and good people though. read more

We visited this place last year when they were at the bus. Coffee was great and so was the food! Excited to come back this year but was severely disappointed. The lady working the counter was not friendly at all. She was short with us and seemed irritated when we were trying to decide what to order. The food selection was very minimal and the breakfast sandwich was basic. The coffee was not as good as we remembered. Maybe because it was not made with aloha. Grabbed breakfast on a Saturday morning with a short wait for hot foods. We ordered the buzz açaí bowl, wired monkey smoothie, banana bread, and cinnamon roll. The açaí bowl was refreshing with perfectly ripe bananas and a nice crunch from the cocoa nibs. We only wished we didn't get honey on top since it was sweet enough. The wired monkey smoothie tasted nutritious and not too creamy. The banana bread was dry and the cinnamon roll was nothing special. Our friends got the hash sandwich and said it was pretty food. There's plenty of seating and service is kind. Skip the baked goods as you don't know how fresh they are. Do come for the coffee and açaí bowls! read more

HA Coffee Bar is finally here with their new brick-and-mortar location on Rice Street, right across from where their truck used to be, and it's an absolute vibe. After thriving in their coffee truck, they've now opened a stunning physical space--and it's everything you could want in a café. The building is also a community and coworking space, making it the perfect spot to work, relax, or hang out with friends. The atmosphere is bright, stylish, and filled with great energy. The drinks are unreal. They use Mizuba Matcha and I tried it both hot and iced--both were absolutely perfect. They also serve an amazing selection of baked goods, including fresh muffins, moist banana bread, and insanely fluffy malasadas from Watasadas. Every bite was incredible. To top it all off, the barista was incredibly sweet and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. What an excellent coffee "food truck?"! The tires are flat so they're definitely not going anywhere. People are constantly showing up (quite popular!) The service is great and friendly. We enjoyed the quaint ambiance in an unassuming part of the neighborhood with plenty of parking and some outdoor seating areas. The Hacienda Açaí bowl is amazing! (We had it twice!) something about peanut butter dripped over the sweet, refreshing açaí just work. The ice latte matcha is great too and I would definitely get the cold brew again next time. It looks like they were closed or had moved several times (didn't see a live yelp page for the business) but they definitely deserve a visit to get your breakfast for the champions! read more

I can make the Matcha myself and it would taste pretty much the same, but the banana bread was really good. I'm starting to think banana bread is a thing on Kauai. This was the 2nd time I heard banana bread mentioned in such a short period of time, so I'm guessing it's the thing to have on the island. This was walking distance from our hotel and glad we can grab coffee and a bite to eat before we explore the island.  The drip coffee was just right and the parmesan bagel with tomato cream cheese was amazing!  It was toasty and warm, hubby took a huge bite even though he's not normally a bagel fan.  Wish we can more time to come back because the acai bowl looks really good too! Easy place to miss but this place had some amazing acai bowls! Good: - Easy online order and reasonable prices - about $14 for an entire acai bowl! - HUGE portion sizes - shared my bowl with 4 people total, and it fed all of us well. The acai isn't too sweet which was really special since I don't like overly sweet things. Bad: - The place was just a simple food truck and there wasn't too much seating - the acai bowl also wasn't ready by the estimated time. This coffee shop/bus is awesome! They're located in a big alleyway with huge paintings by local artist, so the whole area where you get coffee has a really cool vibe, plus there's seating with canopy's to keep you shaded from the hot sun and keep you dry when it's raining. Idk what their secret is but they make better coffee then everyone else :). The baristas customer service is on point and I'm pretty sure they make most of the food themselves.
