The shop has moved from the original spacious location to this much smaller storefront. The coffee shop is now a tiny coffee booth with a few chairs. When we were hear a few years ago their coffee were amazing but is just so-so now.

Forewarning: there are only drinks served for the time being I'm not sure how long so we were only able to get drink. They were delicious though! I got a chai which was perfect spicy and sweet and I forgot to ask for dirty but I'd recommend because the coffee is exquisite! The Samoan latte is amazing. The chai with oatmilk cinnamon and Carmel is also great. They sweeten it with honey as well. Would recommend as the service is friendly and drinks are yummy! There may not be a lot of parking as it is alongside a road but they will be moving into a building across the street in a couple weeks.

Cute environment. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. I had the Samoan - hot. Tasty!

Cute ambiance. Seating indoor and out (with umbrellas). Friendly staff. I had the Samoan - hot. Tasty. Would go again

Went to the brick and mortar before covid and had a phenomenal coffee. So glad to see they persevered and still have a food truck. Had already eaten breakfast, so we just got coffee. All of us agreed it was really good.

Grabbed breakfast on a Saturday morning with a short wait for hot foods. We ordered the buzz açaí bowl, wired monkey smoothie, banana bread, and cinnamon roll. The açaí bowl was refreshing with perfectly ripe bananas and a nice crunch from the cocoa nibs. We only wished we didn't get honey on top since it was sweet enough. The wired monkey smoothie tasted nutritious and not too creamy. The banana bread was dry and the cinnamon roll was nothing special. Our friends got the hash sandwich and said it was pretty food. There's plenty of seating and service is kind. Skip the baked goods as you don't know how fresh they are. Do come for the coffee and açaí bowls!

What an excellent coffee "food truck?"! The tires are flat so they're definitely not going anywhere. People are constantly showing up (quite popular!) The service is great and friendly. We enjoyed the quaint ambiance in an unassuming part of the neighborhood with plenty of parking and some outdoor seating areas. The Hacienda Açaí bowl is amazing! (We had it twice!) something about peanut butter dripped over the sweet, refreshing açaí just work. The ice latte matcha is great too and I would definitely get the cold brew again next time. It looks like they were closed or had moved several times (didn't see a live yelp page for the business) but they definitely deserve a visit to get your breakfast for the champions!

This was walking distance from our hotel and glad we can grab coffee and a bite to eat before we explore the island.  The drip coffee was just right and the parmesan bagel with tomato cream cheese was amazing!  It was toasty and warm, hubby took a huge bite even though he's not normally a bagel fan.  Wish we can more time to come back because the acai bowl looks really good too! Next trip for sure.

Super hip coffee and breakfast truck. Very nice workers, orders came out quickly. Beautiful latte art, "The Bee Sting" latte had great flavor but was a bit syrup heavy, so ask for it half sweetened if you are not all about the super sweet. Not pictured, but the breakfast sandwiches were amazing! Egg, bacon, cheese, peppers - like a mcMuffin but better! Also reasonably priced.

We also tried the bagels, including the Jimmy Pesto on a rosemary bagel and the Brahvocado with added pesto cream cheese on an everything bagel. The bagels were fresh and had the perfect chew and crisp to them. The pesto cream cheese was full of flavor. I didn't get any pastries, but they looked really good. The decor was great. It was a light wood accented sterile floor concrete look. I gotta say, I love that kind of vibe. The service was great! It was a little busier when we walked in, and there were a few people in line, but it moved quickly, and we ordered promptly as such. I got my standard short iced latte (or an iced flat white), and waited patiently. It came out soon, and I started to sip! Super inoffensive and tasty. But let's talk about the TOAST! They all looked SO GOOD. I narrowed it down to two: the avocado toast deluxe or the eggy toast. The eggy toast is more like an egg salad. Even though I think any time of day is a good time for egg salad, I went with the deluxe because microgreens and pickled red onions have a hold on me. While I've had variations of this toast at home and in my hometown, I've never tried it with chili. My lips were burning a bit, so if you are a sissy with heat, you might want to opt for no or reduced sauce. We stopped by on a Tuesday around 8:30AM and got our pick of malasadas to try out! Kauai Bakery is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of ample parking, making it very easy to stop by and grab some delicious pastries. Service is like your typical bakery, you pick what you would like and they get it to you so you can stuff your face immediately after purchase. Ambiance is cozy with plenty of pastries to pick from in the large display case. We got 4 flavors of Malasadas for $16, which is $4 per doughnut, which I think is a decent price for the size and heft. The flavors we sampled were Lilikoi, Coconut, and Guava - out of these flavors, the coconut one was my personal favorite! The flavor was exactly what I would want anything coconut cream flavor should taste, creamy texture with a pleasant coconut taste that didn't taste artificial at all. It captured the floral background taste that is missing from a lot of coconut desserts that makes coconut so pleasing to eat! The Lilikoi one was my next favorite, it had a slight tartness and a more subtly pronounced flavor - I think I was looking for something stronger personally. Lastly was the guava one, which actually tasted a bit artificial and didn't have a pronounced flavor at all, which was unfortunate. Despite this critique, I would still glady inhale 2 or 3 of them because the dough was really pillowy and really enjoyable to eat. I think that the pastries here (at least the malasadas) are very solid and priced competitively vs most things here on Kauai. I would totally come back to get several more of the malasadas as well as try the other pastry options on the menu. Stop by and give this bakery a try if you are in the area!

The bakery is located in a supermarket Plaza. There was plenty of parking. Very easy to get to and…read moreeasy to find parking. Came as many people talk about this bakery. We got there around 6:30am and there were many choices of pastries. We chose a few different flavored malasadas and coffee. The malasadas tasted good but I wasn't blown away. I wish they were served warm. Staff are very nice and friendly. Store super clean and cutely decorated.
