    Banana bread syrup latte
    Nicole K.

This was the sixth coffee place we tried on the island and it was our favorite!! Hands down. I asked if they had anything banana and she said they have their homemade banana bread syrup that they can do a latter or matcha so we got one of each. DELICIOUS!!! Holy banana that was amazing. The girl who took our order was very sweet. HIGHLY recommend!

It's really cool to see such a niche coffee roaster show up on the most niche island in Hawaii! It's located smack dab in the middle of Old Koloa Town, and it was the perfect place to start our day! We came pretty early after opening, and there were just a few souls in sight. The people working the bar were great, and we promptly ordered and got our drinks. There's plenty of seating, both inside and out, so that was a huge plus! I ordered a haupia foam cold brew, and my friend got a standard cold brew. Both were great, and the haupia foam was light and sweet. I only wish I got a larger size! Coconut, cream, and roasty flavors emanated from my drink, making every sip pretty punchy. My friend was saying how he thinks Hawaiian cold brew, in general, is on the lighter side (in dilution, not in roast). I tend to agree. But, that gives a lot of room to flavor or really just deliver a lot of volume in your drink. Overall, this was a super refreshing thing to have not only in the morning, but also in general on Kauai!

I ordered a hot matcha latte with oat milk, and the matcha already comes pre-sweetened per the barista. It tastes very similar to Starbucks matcha, not horrible but not great either. A little too sweet for my liking and not enough of the matcha flavor comes through. The color also wasn't the correct shade of green for good quality matcha, but I'm someone who likes to make my matcha at home and rarely find ones at coffee shops that I actually like, so take my review with that in mind, if you're a casual matcha drinking then you would like their version. It doesn't dry your tongue out or have a bitter taste. The following day I decided to try their coffee and ordered a hot vanilla oat milk latte. It was just okay, the espresso is a little more on the acidic side and I couldn't taste any vanilla flavor. Definitely not the worst latte I've had in Hawaii, but for the cost of lattes nowadays, I wouldn't come back to try more of their menu until I try other local coffee shops first. Pros: Plenty of parking right out front, good amount of seating inside, clean bathrooms, wifi, they sell their coffee beans and merchandise including shirts and hats which are super cute, there is also a small shop inside the same building that sells clothing/candles/bags/etc and the store employee is super nice

This place has 4 million trees and is the largest coffee farm in the United States! Back at the store, museum, cafe - there are a bunch of coffees you can sample. Honestly, the coffee and a little cream - all you need. It is so smooth, not bitter, full of flavor. You get a discount too on your purchase. I opted for the free shipping and the coffee got home before I did. Stop by on your way to or from Waimea (or Poipu), take one of the tours, it's so much more meaningful when you know about the land and the people of Kauai. Favorite flavors: Rooster Alarm and Mundo Novo.

Now their product is available everywhere, and this location in central Kauai is now the biggest coffee farm in the United States. My wife and I were in the area, so stopped in for a visit between breakfast and lunch time. The stop became an enjoyable visit. We were the first ones there, so waited in the large parking lot for it to open by 09:00. Inside the visitor center, there is a sampling table (choice of 4 coffee flavors), a gift shop, a small museum, and a cafe while the outside has a self-guided walking path. All are free to enter/use. Nothing in the retail store interested us, but we did share a coffee float ($5.99) made from two scoops of macadamia nut ice cream and Kauai cold brew. It took a bit of time for it to be made, but it was really, really good. Actually thought about getting another one while we walked the outside, but thought better of it. The outside walk takes about 25 minutes to complete, if stopping to read all signs (less than 10 signs) and actually admire each outdoor display. We came in late April, so the coffee plants still had their flower blooms which was a cool sight. Later, we discovered and completed a Pokemon Go route, forever etching our visit and walk into the game. Even then, our entire visit took less than 90 minutes.
