Rainbeau Jo's was honestly one of the best coffee experiences I had in Kauai. I'm glad I stopped by on the way to the airport for one last caffeine fix. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming -- you can immediately feel how genuine and positive the energy is in this place. Its so cutely decorated! Looks like one of those cute coffee places in San Diego and reminded me off home :) Beau himself served us, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. He was so friendly, so warm, and just one of those people who instantly makes you feel comfortable. You can tell how much love and passion goes into this shop, and it really shows in the way they treat every customer. The drinks were amazing -- seriously some of the best we had on the island. Do yourself a favor and make this your first stop after getting off the plane in Lihue, you won't regret it! Such amazing vibes in this shop, and they serve great coffee and bagels! Beau is hilarious and friendly, he kept the line moving but also made connections with everyone who walked through the door and everyone at the register. He even gave us a recommendation for a waterfall to visit nearby to take pictures at. I got to Coco Crunch Ombre which he said is a customer favorite and back on the menu for right now. It was sooo tasty, caramel and coconut creamy heaven. The coffee had great flavor and wasn't bitter or watered down. It was the perfect pick me up after landing in Kauai at 9:30am. We also tried the bagels, including the Jimmy Pesto on a rosemary bagel and the Brahvocado with added pesto cream cheese on an everything bagel. The bagels were fresh and had the perfect chew and crisp to them. The pesto cream cheese was full of flavor. There are indoor seating available and they also have a to-go window outside that you can pick up mobile orders if you're in a hurry. Parking is available behind the shop, it has signs letting you know it's parking for their shop. Definitely look forward to visiting again soon and trying a new drink option read more

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the owner and her very jovial husband. They were so friendly and didn't mind explaining aspects of their menu. They really made us feel so welcome. Also, the place was busy yet Beau acknowledged literally every client when they were heading out. These are the kind of good vibes people I wish the world was full of. I got a decaf (Swiss process) funky monkey and an apple cruffin; legit so good! The drink was sweet (it has ice cream) yet the flavors were balanced, not too heavy on the peanut butter nor banana. The cruffin had a wonderfully crusty outer layer and a velvety cooked apple filling, not overly sweet...simply perfect. Beau's greetings shower you with aloha. Their vibes inside are just as warm and friendly - from the insanely adorable stickers/magnets and merch, to the wall mural and decorations. I'm shocked it's taken me so long to discover this gem. With little smiley's on the lids, to the sip cover hula dudes, what is not to love. Oh yes, and the coffee is just as good. I had the crunch latte special (I believe that was the name) and it honestly tasted like cereal. It was great! There's parking near the back. You can also find some hula hoops as well. Aloha Spirit is overflowing here in Lihue! Beau and Jo both working their elbow grease to the bone with glorious precision, from the moment I first entered their pinkified space, I was greeted with a warm welcome, smiles and instructions for ordering. We went to Kauai for a week and didn't repeat any place except this spot. We tried a new coffee spot daily, sometimes 2 in a day but this one was our favorite. We would've gone a 3rd time before our flight but didn't want to be late since there are often lines here. The husband wife owners are really nice and have put together a great spot for their customers to enjoy the food. We got bagels on the second visit and it was good but the coffee is the main star. Amazing customer service and staff here with really good coffee. We bought a bag of coffee beans to go but wish we got more. Cute little vibey spot with places to sit and chill while drinking and eating your stuff. Will be back if we ever visit. Beau the owner and his wife Jo were truly wonderful. I'm honestly very thankful for their kindness and truthfulness about how nothing there is gluten free, however they went above and beyond when I asked them to just do a lox on tomato. They gave me 6 pieces of tomato with the little dollops of homemade lox cream cheese with sprouts. He even gave me a discount because I didn't get a bagel, when gluten free usually gets upcharged. Absolutely amazing! Coffee 12/10. Not too sweet, tasted soooo good!! Their atmosphere is the definition of positive vibes. My husband also said their rosemary bagel was a hit and he's judgy lol. We are holidaying in Kauai and we stopped by Rainbeau Jo's...it's an amazing experience. It is owned by a Husband Wife team (Beau and Jo). Me and my wife got iced Lattes with different types of milk than we usually do (Macadamia etc) and they were delicious. Our sons got smoothie which were so delicious (I tried them) and one of my kids got a bagel. The food was fresh such that my 15 year old went back to get a second bagel and cream cheese. I'd definitely recommend you making a stop - Beau and Jo are super friendly and the service was outstanding. Came here for a quick bite and caffeine before the start of our day, it did not disappoint. I read another review talking about the positive vibes and positive vibes there is indeed. There was already a line down the middle of the cafe when we got there and it only got longer while we were there. The man at the register was so friendly and kept telling everyone what they have on the menu, and thanking everyone for waiting because they were short staffed. Our food did take a little longer to come out so we just thought it was because they were short staffed, but it turns out they gave our food to someone else. They quickly realized their mistake and the nice man at the register came to apologize and apologize to the people they gave our order to. He gave us a gift card and a filled in stamp card for a freebie as a consolidation. As for the Brahvacado, which is a bagel of your choice, we got it with pesto cream cheese, and avocado, was delicious.
