The atmosphere, vibe and energy is nothing but good here. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. The owners work at the register and behind the counter making coffee and chopping it up with customers. They have a great flow going. The place is spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating and pretty aesthetics. My coffee was good and husband enjoyed his green smoothie. I also took a peek in the back where they are mixing up our drinks and I've noticed they' were using relatively good products which is always a perk. All in all our party was happy with our orders.

Great start for any Kauai trip. Coffee, smoothies or breakfast bites are a hit here. The place is fun, clean, and full of great service. Our group got all the above and it was so delicious. A must have when you're in Kauai..

This must be the place is the song that comes to mind when I think back to this spot! The owner is incredibly nice and enhances the whole experience of grabbing yourself a delightful treat. The line moves quickly and we had our coffees in no time. Our coffees were surprisingly good, strong and just the fuel we needed to kick off another day in paradise.

My cashier (who I believe was the owner) is the only shot of espresso you'll need!! Jokes aside, the vibe inside is like sunshine. Fun decor, bright colors, house music going. Great selection of fun coffee based drinks. Ordered the blended Kauai Cruiser which was a sweet start to the morning. Good hints of chocolate. Also had the Brahvacado on a rosemary bagel which was also really good and fresh. Would recommend!

No ka maikaʻi - which literally translates to of the best - is how I'd describe Rainbeau Jo's. Down in the dumps? Take one step inside and guaranteed you will leave with a smile on your face. Beau's greetings shower you with aloha. Their vibes inside are just as warm and friendly - from the insanely adorable stickers/magnets and merch, to the wall mural and decorations. I'm shocked it's taken me so long to discover this gem. With little smiley's on the lids, to the sip cover hula dudes, what is not to love. Oh yes, and the coffee is just as good. The Rainbow Rita drinks didn't disappoint. Caramel haze left me in a happy daze. Def for those that have a sweet tooth. Smoothies were also very good. Punch card for frequent visitors too - def get one if you're on the island and plan to visit more than once. Will absolutely return next time we are in the area!

Consistently smooth and balanced coffee made by the coolest crew! Be sure to buy a bag (or two or three) of their whole bean coffee, too.

    Apple Cruffin!! 10/10

If you're visiting Kaua'i, make Rainbeau Jo's your VERY first stop. Beau and Jo are two of the kindest, most welcoming humans you'll ever meet!!! They make every single person who walks through their doors feel like family. The vibe, the energy, the hospitality... is absolutely unmatched. And the food/drinks?! Absolutely incomparable to anything else on the island. Fresh, delicious, comforting, and somehow impossible to stop thinking about once you leave Fair warning though: if you go once, you WILL be back every single day of your trip We honestly looked forward to it daily. Cannot recommend this place enough Thank you Beau and Jo!! If you ever plan on opening a shop on the mainland PLEASE come to Reno first

The food was 10/10 delicious. You gotta get the Cowabunga Brah. I love the decor inside and everyone who works there was so friendly. Our food and drinks came fast and with a smile. You gotta stop here and then go back again! There's an amazing wall to take a selfie or group photo in front of too!

Amazing food, great vibes, best customer service hands down! Had to snag a sweet custom hat before we flew out! Highly recommend!!

This place is the BEST!! Amazing customer service and I would say the best in the Hawaiian islands hands down. Husband and wife owners and the vibes were on point! Would highly recommend! Will make it back here someday!

Absolutely loved the vibe here at Rainbeau Jo's! When you walk in, your feel so special since they greet you like an old friend you haven't seen in a while. I loved learning about Beau (the guy at the register who greets you) and Jo (making the delicious coffees) are husband and wife! It looks like they make a great team. We ordered: -Cold Brew ($4.95/12 oz)+ Mac Nut Flavor ($1) + Mac Nut Milk ($1.25): delicious Mac flavor -Pineapple Danish and Cinnamon Roll: both were delicious warmed up They also sell cute merch including clothes, stickers, and more. I couldn't help myself and bought their purple crop t-shirts. Lovely coffee shop to start your morning. I highly recommend checking out Rainbeau Jo's!

First time in Kauai and the birthday celebration continues--LOL! First stop: coffee, of course. Thank goodness for friends who share their itinerary--because I was seriously craving a macadamia nut latte with oat milk. My little entourage ordered their own mix of drinks, but mine hit the spot. The owner? Super friendly and straight-up comedy. Definitely a hit in my books!

The service is EXCELLENT. A couple owns this joint and they are so friendly and kind. They offer suggestions to visit for tourist which is really sweet. I get the feeling that they sincerely want you to enjoy your time on the island. The coffee is really good too. Very smoothe coffee. They have tons of options for coffee beverages. If my trip were longer, I'd definitely come back. Such a cute place to hang out with a friend and catch up while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Aloha Spirit is overflowing here in Lihue! Beau and Jo both working their elbow grease to the bone with glorious precision, from the moment I first entered their pinkified space, I was greeted with a warm welcome, smiles and instructions for ordering. Their cozy space was packed with happy customers including repeat customers flashing their pink rewards cards and RainbeauJo app! I think there's even a drive-up window because I saw them providing service out of a back window. I'm downloading the app now to return for this delicious everything bagel with cream cheese, and pesto, and I will return to try every other bagel on their menu, simply delicious!

That being said, this felt like one of the few third wave coffee shops that exists on the island. I wanted to find an issue with this spot, because I'm always looking for something to be critical over. With the exception of the matcha shortage, they pretty much served all of my needs. I didn't get any pastries, but they looked really good. The decor was great. It was a light wood accented sterile floor concrete look. I gotta say, I love that kind of vibe. The service was great! It was a little busier when we walked in, and there were a few people in line, but it moved quickly, and we ordered promptly as such. I got my standard short iced latte (or an iced flat white), and waited patiently. It came out soon, and I started to sip! Super inoffensive and tasty. It felt like a very middle ground medium roast espresso, so no complaints there! Good stuff, I say. If you want that 3rd Wave experience, this is certainly one way to do it on the island!

The toast selections alone are 5 Star! We enjoyed: -Hawaiian Vanilla Latte - half sweet was the perfect balance -Americano with steamed cream - Kauai Latte-- Maybe I don't know what I'm looking for in a Mac nut syrup but I didn't notice any unique flavors...but it was still delish. But let's talk about the TOAST! They all looked SO GOOD. I narrowed it down to two: the avocado toast deluxe or the eggy toast. The eggy toast is more like an egg salad. Even though I think any time of day is a good time for egg salad, I went with the deluxe because microgreens and pickled red onions have a hold on me. While I've had variations of this toast at home and in my hometown, I've never tried it with chili. My lips were burning a bit, so if you are a sissy with heat, you might want to opt for no or reduced sauce. I left with no regrets...except that I should have come sooner than our last day on Kauai...and I should have grabbed an eggy toast to go!

We stopped by on a Tuesday around 8:30AM and got our pick of malasadas to try out! Kauai Bakery is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of ample parking, making it very easy to stop by and grab some delicious pastries. Service is like your typical bakery, you pick what you would like and they get it to you so you can stuff your face immediately after purchase. Ambiance is cozy with plenty of pastries to pick from in the large display case. We got 4 flavors of Malasadas for $16, which is $4 per doughnut, which I think is a decent price for the size and heft. The flavors we sampled were Lilikoi, Coconut, and Guava - out of these flavors, the coconut one was my personal favorite! The flavor was exactly what I would want anything coconut cream flavor should taste, creamy texture with a pleasant coconut taste that didn't taste artificial at all. It captured the floral background taste that is missing from a lot of coconut desserts that makes coconut so pleasing to eat! The Lilikoi one was my next favorite, it had a slight tartness and a more subtly pronounced flavor - I think I was looking for something stronger personally. Lastly was the guava one, which actually tasted a bit artificial and didn't have a pronounced flavor at all, which was unfortunate. Despite this critique, I would still glady inhale 2 or 3 of them because the dough was really pillowy and really enjoyable to eat. I think that the pastries here (at least the malasadas) are very solid and priced competitively vs most things here on Kauai. I would totally come back to get several more of the malasadas as well as try the other pastry options on the menu. Stop by and give this bakery a try if you are in the area!
