First time at Rainbeau Jo's and they did not disappoint! The interior is fun, vibrant and welcoming. We were greeted by friendly staff members. There was a line inside, but it went fairly fast. I ordered the caramel haze and the jimmy pesto with an everything bagel. Everything tasted so good. The coffee was like a milkshake, and had a good balance of flavors. The pesto cream cheese was super creamy and paired well with the bagel! We were genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend Rainbeau Jo's!
We LOVED it here! We stopped at Rainbeau Jo's on our way to the airport after getting engaged the day before. Beau & Jo were fabulous and so celebratory for our recent engagement. The entire coffee shop and everyone in it were uplifting, loving, and made us feel right at home! We ordered two coffees and two bagel sandwiches - they were the perfect breakfast before our flight home. My fiancé got the pesto sandwich and I got one with lox & microgreens! Both were delish & our coffees were incredible! They even drew the sweetest little drawing on our lids for our engagement. I ended up grabbing a hat too to commemorate our trip & experience because it was truly the best send off on our way back home. We loved it here and are looking forward to visiting when we come back for an anniversary trip one day!
We loved this place! Especially the kids. It has such a fun vibe and the coffee was great. A little on the sweeter side, but still good! We were talking to someone who seemed like the owner and was super helpful and playful with the kids. They enjoyed the stickers and smoothies and met more friends while we were waiting for our drinks.
Rainbeau Jo's was honestly one of the best coffee experiences I had in Kauai. I'm glad I stopped by on the way to the airport for one last caffeine fix. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming -- you can immediately feel how genuine and positive the energy is in this place. Its so cutely decorated! Looks like one of those cute coffee places in San Diego and reminded me off home :) Beau himself served us, and he truly made the experience unforgettable. He was so friendly, so warm, and just one of those people who instantly makes you feel comfortable. You can tell how much love and passion goes into this shop, and it really shows in the way they treat every customer. The drinks were amazing -- seriously some of the best we had on the island. Everything tasted fresh, high-quality, and made with so much care. Pair that with the fun, happy vibe of the shop and it just made the whole stop feel special. We're already saying we can't wait to come back to Kauai just so we can come here again. If you're in Lihue, this place is an absolute must-visit.
Do yourself a favor and make this your first stop after getting off the plane in Lihue, you won't regret it! Such amazing vibes in this shop, and they serve great coffee and bagels! Beau is hilarious and friendly, he kept the line moving but also made connections with everyone who walked through the door and everyone at the register. He even gave us a recommendation for a waterfall to visit nearby to take pictures at. I got to Coco Crunch Ombre which he said is a customer favorite and back on the menu for right now. It was sooo tasty, caramel and coconut creamy heaven. The coffee had great flavor and wasn't bitter or watered down. It was the perfect pick me up after landing in Kauai at 9:30am. We also tried the bagels, including the Jimmy Pesto on a rosemary bagel and the Brahvocado with added pesto cream cheese on an everything bagel. The bagels were fresh and had the perfect chew and crisp to them. The pesto cream cheese was full of flavor. There are indoor seating available and they also have a to-go window outside that you can pick up mobile orders if you're in a hurry. Parking is available behind the shop, it has signs letting you know it's parking for their shop. Definitely look forward to visiting again soon and trying a new drink option
Such a cute coffee and smoothie shop located close to the airport! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell that they care so much about the food/drinks they serve and making their customers happy. My mom and I ordered smoothies - napali nectar ($10.25 for 16 oz) and Kauai sunrise ($10.25 for 16 oz). The smoothies were fresh. We also shared an everything bagel with strawberry fields cream cheese ($6.50). A nice balance of sweet and savory. The cream cheese was sooo good and you can tell it's homemade! We licked it right off the paper. I also got a cute sticker for $4. I can't wait to put it on my water bottle or laptop. I wish I came back to try their coffee. I heard it's amazing! The decor inside is so bright and lively. Random fun fact - their bathroom is clean and their toilet paper is plush.
Beau and Jo are NO STRANGERS to ANYONE! Walk in the shoppe and you are greeted with an ALOHA that will make anyone's day as bright as the Rainbeau Jo outdoor sun! This location is called PERSONALITY PLUS! And while you are there why not PICK UP SOME MERCH (stickers, magnets, cups, shirts, love) and also LEARN about what local company sources the merch so you know you are supporting LOCAL. And oh yeah, the FOOD is DELICIOUS, the SMOOTHIES and COFFEE a DELIGHT and THE ATMOSPHERE is ELECTRIC. YOU CAN'T COME TO Kauai and not stop here. JUST DO IT!
My cashier (who I believe was the owner) is the only shot of espresso you'll need!! Jokes aside, the vibe inside is like sunshine. Fun decor, bright colors, house music going. Great selection of fun coffee based drinks. Ordered the blended Kauai Cruiser which was a sweet start to the morning. Good hints of chocolate. Also had the Brahvacado on a rosemary bagel which was also really good and fresh. Would recommend!
No ka maikaʻi - which literally translates to of the best - is how I'd describe Rainbeau Jo's. Down in the dumps? Take one step inside and guaranteed you will leave with a smile on your face. Beau's greetings shower you with aloha. Their vibes inside are just as warm and friendly - from the insanely adorable stickers/magnets and merch, to the wall mural and decorations. I'm shocked it's taken me so long to discover this gem. With little smiley's on the lids, to the sip cover hula dudes, what is not to love. Oh yes, and the coffee is just as good. The Rainbow Rita drinks didn't disappoint. Caramel haze left me in a happy daze. Def for those that have a sweet tooth. Smoothies were also very good. Punch card for frequent visitors too - def get one if you're on the island and plan to visit more than once. Will absolutely return next time we are in the area!
The atmosphere, vibe and energy is nothing but good here. The owners and staff are friendly and welcoming. The owners work at the register and behind the counter making coffee and chopping it up with customers. They have a great flow going. The place is spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating and pretty aesthetics. My coffee was good and husband enjoyed his green smoothie. I also took a peek in the back where they are mixing up our drinks and I've noticed they' were using relatively good products which is always a perk. All in all our party was happy with our orders.
Great start for any Kauai trip. Coffee, smoothies or breakfast bites are a hit here. The place is fun, clean, and full of great service. Our group got all the above and it was so delicious. A must have when you're in Kauai..
This must be the place is the song that comes to mind when I think back to this spot! The owner is incredibly nice and enhances the whole experience of grabbing yourself a delightful treat. The line moves quickly and we had our coffees in no time. Our coffees were surprisingly good, strong and just the fuel we needed to kick off another day in paradise.
Absolutely loved the vibe here at Rainbeau Jo's! When you walk in, your feel so special since they greet you like an old friend you haven't seen in a while. I loved learning about Beau (the guy at the register who greets you) and Jo (making the delicious coffees) are husband and wife! It looks like they make a great team. We ordered: -Cold Brew ($4.95/12 oz)+ Mac Nut Flavor ($1) + Mac Nut Milk ($1.25): delicious Mac flavor -Pineapple Danish and Cinnamon Roll: both were delicious warmed up They also sell cute merch including clothes, stickers, and more. I couldn't help myself and bought their purple crop t-shirts. Lovely coffee shop to start your morning. I highly recommend checking out Rainbeau Jo's!

Arrived at this place on an early Friday morning to grab some coffee. Street parking was relatively easy since we got a spot right in front. Immediately entering the store we were greeted by the cashier (which I'm presuming is the owner) welcoming us in. The overall feel and vibe of the shop was clean and accommodating for people to sit and relax. I ordered the caramel haze with oat milk which totalled around $9. The tasted really sweet and the texture was perfect. Generally with oat milk drinks it can be sometimes powdery but I believe the ice cream helped make drink overall creamy. If you're visiting Kauai and have a few minutes for some coffee after arriving, this is a perfect first coffee place to check out! read more

Genuinely the most friendly staff I've ever met in my life. I've been going here since they were in Lihue Industrial in 2018 and every time I go the owners put a smile on my face. Inside the shop is vibrant, colorful, and lively. Most of their menu items are local and organic! I highly recommend their bagels, especially the strawberry fields. They also have so many yummy smoothie and ice cream shake options! Overall amazing, decently priced, local coffee shop! read more

I wish we had stumbled upon this place our first day on the island and not our second to last day. We had coffee all over Kaua'i but we were staying just down the road from this spot and decided to try it. Immediately when we walked in the vibes were high the owner was full of energy and greeted us and told us everything about the place and all of his unicorn staff was just as incredible and hyping us up. The decor was so cute and bright and fun. They had cute merch. They had great personalities and they had hula hoops, outback, which we did use. They took time to get to know us and talk to us and find out what we liked and everything we had was incredible so much that we came back the next day and ordered again. I got a standard Mac nut latte with vanilla and my daughter got some extra caramel blended drink, and then the next day she got a white chocolate blended drink with caramel added. And then my breakfast sandwich was a croissant with like a pesto, cream cheese, and sprouts and tomatoes, and it was so incredibly delicious. I can't even explain it and then my daughter had a kiawe (sp?) bagel with cream cheese and blueberry and she said it was so good. She ended up getting that both days and the croissant. I got the second day as well. I could rave for hours about this place. They just make you feel like you're a part of the family. it's literally my dream coffee shop. read more

First time in Kauai and the birthday celebration continues--LOL! First stop: coffee, of course. Thank goodness for friends who share their itinerary--because I was seriously craving a macadamia nut latte with oat milk. My little entourage ordered their own mix of drinks, but mine hit the spot. The owner? Super friendly and straight-up comedy. Definitely a hit in my books! read more
Aloha Spirit is overflowing here in Lihue! Beau and Jo both working their elbow grease to the bone with glorious precision, from the moment I first entered their pinkified space, I was greeted with a warm welcome, smiles and instructions for ordering. Their cozy space was packed with happy customers including repeat customers flashing their pink rewards cards and RainbeauJo app! I think there's even a drive-up window because I saw them providing service out of a back window. I'm downloading the app now to return for this delicious everything bagel with cream cheese, and pesto, and I will return to try every other bagel on their menu, simply delicious! read more

A coffee and bagel GEM so close to airport. A must visit right after you arrive, as you make your way to depart, or just when you are in town. The owner is super friendly and he makes the entire experience pleasant. Salty wahine and lucky charm latte are just delicious drinks. And the Cowabunga Bagel with everything bagel is THE BEST bagel I've ever tasted in my life! I swear it's that good. They really smothered the bagel with the tastiest garlic feta dill cream cheese. read more
The service is EXCELLENT. A couple owns this joint and they are so friendly and kind. They offer suggestions to visit for tourist which is really sweet. I get the feeling that they sincerely want you to enjoy your time on the island. The coffee is really good too. Very smoothe coffee. They have tons of options for coffee beverages. If my trip were longer, I'd definitely come back. Such a cute place to hang out with a friend and catch up while enjoying a cup of coffee. read more

This was such a great find on our way home! We needed 1 last breakfast before flying home and I'm so glad we found Rainbeau Jo's! As soon as we walked in, I knew I'd love everything about it! Fun 80s music was blasting! Service was great! The owners are funny and attentive. We loved all their food and drink suggestions. The pesto cream cheese on rosemary bagel is absolutely fantastic! The coffee was amazing! They also had great merch. I got some cute stickers and a funny shirt. When my son asked for stickers for himself, he was challenged to get me and his dad to hula hoop out back and be filmed in slow motion. Of course we obliged and he was rewarded with a sticker for each of our videos. Will definitely return here when we come back to Kauai. read more
5/5 for Great vibes and energy straight when walking in. I ordered the la vive latte which was pretty tasty and the cinnamon roll which was a little underbaked in the middle and they said they would heat it up and did not. read more
The best vibes for a morning pick me up!! Long lines, but definitely worth the wait. We ordered lattes and a bagel, and got our food in about 20-30 minutes. Cashier was so sweet & energetic though, which kept us alive & awake in the line. He even gave some recommendations for waterfalls to check out after our coffee! They have a small selection of syrups, but great options like Mac nut and coconut. Pretty average prices, nothing was too expensive. We loved the bagel too. read more

Easily the best coffee shop experience we've ever had - not just for the coffee, but for the service. From the moment we walked in, the gentleman at the register made us feel welcomed. He was incredibly friendly, greeting every customer with the kind of attention that makes you feel like more than just a transaction. My husband and I were visiting on our honeymoon and when he found out, he got the entire shop to cheer and celebrate for us. We even left with adorable "I do" stickers on our coffee cups - a small touch that meant so much. Must visit coffee shop! read more
