Visited Trilogy Coffee while on vacation in Kauai on the recommendation of a friend from the mainland. The shop itself is on the smaller side but has a large shared parking lot, so parking wasn't an issue. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, the Buddha Brew (ONYX COLD BREW, SALTED MACADAMIA, AND LOCAL COCONUT MILK - SERVED SHAKEN OVER ICE ) while Miori went with her usual iced vanilla latte. The drinks were fine, but honestly, the coffee didn't wow us, it was just okay. That said, the overall vibe of the shop was nice, and the outdoor seating area worked well for hanging out. One thing to note: there are a lot of chickens and roosters roaming around, which is very Kauai but something to keep in mind if you plan to sit and enjoy a meal or coffee outside. Highlights: - Easy parking in the shared lot - Specialty drinks like the Buddha Brew are unique - Small shop with a chill vibe - Outdoor seating available - Be prepared for Kauai's resident chickens read more

Stopped by this place while waiting for my food to be done and it was pretty good. Ordered the onyx which was recommended by the sweet woman at the counter. The place itself was cute and clean and had something's for sale. There's a seating area outside which is convenient. 4/5 for my coffee experience! read more

We stopped in about 10 minutes before they closed. A very cute place with various seating situated outside. I ordered coffee and a baked good. Coffee was delicious. However I wanted the cake to be heated up (it was cold from the refrigerator) but the staff had already unplugged the warmers , toaster oven like appliances and could not warm up the cake . I feel if you arrive before closing, service should still be available. read more

Avocado Toast - this is reason enough to go to Trilogy. They use Midnight Bear Bread and it's toasted to perfection!! Small number of staff and order took a few mins, but it's worth the wait. Remember, you're on island time. We can't go through Kīlauea without stopping. read more

Trilogy Coffee is a cute little coffee shop in Kīlauea. I grabbed a small drip coffee and an island cookie to go. The coffee was strong and smooth, just how I like it. I saved the cookie for later, and it ended up being probably my favorite cookie of the trip. Both were great! read more

Imagine a world where food and beverages like this are common. Mind enhancing (adaptogens) hot drinks with people and earth friendly drinks. The most incredible avocado toast! Was the bread a sour dough? Not sure but it was white, wishing for a whole grain seemed petty for this luscious dish tho. Nice toast point ripe avocado mash with micro greens and more to smother on the toast are lounging in a gorgeous olive oil. Then quickly nonchalantly sitting on the side is a nice scoop of Mac nut pesto. A delish treat to top a very very tasty dish. Get you some. Let's not loose sight of the excellent nut cream cheese on a nice bagel. read more

I had an iced latte and it was great! Coffee is wonderful quality. The Cinnamon Macadamia Nut Coffee Cake was the best pastry i have ever had. Tried the lychee cheesecake and it was delicious. I'm still thinking about it now 3 weeks later. My partner had the matcha and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The cashier was nice and provided some good info on coffee/matcha. Great little spot to sit for a little bit after having some lunch nearby and/or checking out the stores in the shopping center. Btw if you go here and need to use the restroom you'll need to go into the grocery store located in the nearby lot. Not a big deal but good to know regardless. read more

5 stars! Trilogy Coffee on Kauai stay da best. Their creative drinks so ono and da mushroom adaptogen give me smooth energy no jitters. Vegan treats to die for, fresh and full of flavor. We only made it here once during our trip (Kilauea is actually a nice small town to visit). It's great coffee with a relaxing outdoor seating area and such wonderful baristas. The coffees are all well-prepared (we ended up getting another cup each) and the pastries are great too. read more

They have the most creative drink specials, the BEST matcha everrr!! As well as the sweetest staff, definitely go check them out!

Came back to this cafe twice during my trip. Loving it both times. Came here purposely to get their matcha latte on the way and while was waiting for the Kīlauea Lighthouse timed entrance. I got their Matcha Mac Latte which is really smooth and I asked for unsweetened as I always do. Usually you can tell from the color of the matcha once it's poured into the cup and see if it's vibrant green. This one passed the vibrancy. Tried their pastries also. They have great selection of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian pastries. Their Lilikoi Kake is tangy and sweet at same time, and divinely light. They have seatings in front of their cafe on the lawn area. There's a boutique or shop across from it and some other stores within the area. It's cute, warm to heart, kinda coffee shop. Will come back anytime I'm in the area Mahalo :) read more

I don't know in what world we think it's okay to charge $4.50 for alternative milk but apparently here it is okay. I was charged $13.99 for a small, iced coffee with coconut milk. I think that is absolutely ridiculous. The coffee itself was not good, a bitter and weak espresso shot with no flavor from the syrups (I got the banana bread latte). The shop itself is cute, easy access in and out. The service was also nice, the barista was very friendly. Edit: I apologize for being snappy. I did not realize that local farmers supply the coconut milk, I am happy to support local farmers here in Kauai. I think signage in the shop that indicates the cost and explains the high cost would help the customer understand. read more

I love this place! Great energy, coffee, coffee alternatives! Super creative elixirs! The food, although limited, is (mostly) Vegan and Gluten Free. Limited lunch menu but awesome quality. Staff is amazing. I come here 2-3 times a week and sit out in their seating area under a large tree. I always order their avocado toast! Don't have a favorite drink, they are all so good, but top 3 include: Chocolate chai, Mintcha Chip, and Mushroom adaptogen with Mac nut milk. Much better coffee than some of the other places in this pavilion Also, their cups and lids aren't plastic!! They are conscious and aware! I hope other businesses follow suit. They set a really good example for a consumable business on an island. I just wish they opened a little earlier. I think that's a good complaint: I want more Mahalo read more

Cute place. Friendly staff. But that's all there is to it. My hubby got the iced americano and it was strong and bitter, which he's kind of glad he opted out of the milk for the very reason they made my coffee. I got vanilla iced latte and it's 95% milk and 5% coffee. I spilled some of it out and had my husband put some of his drinks on mine, which made it a lit better (I can finally taste a hint of coffee lol) I can't wait to try the chocolate bars tho! read more

What a cute small cafe in Kilauea. The indoor area is for ordering only but there are a lot of small tables outside under the trees for you to enjoy your coffee. I ordered what was on their printed display menu, something "Spanish" which meant that mine had a touch of chili powder. It was GREAT! The Iced Latte was also very good. I was recommended by a coworker about this coffee shop. I was expecting to buy coffee but it looked like they specialized in teas so I ordered a Chai (Trilogy Chai). I got it iced and it cost $6. It was one of the best loose leaf chai I've ever had. It was sweet but not too sweet. Had an authentic taste to it. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 11am. Didn't have to wait in line and drinks came out within 5-10 min. The shop had chocolates, mushroom influenced items, pastries. Such a cute shop. I would come back! read more

Super nice, aware staff with an out-of-this-world drink menu. Consciously made treats and add-ins. Loved my granola (with turmeric in it too) with steamed almond milk. Did not love my decaf latte w/mac milk however. Probably should have taken it back but it was thin with some grounds - not so fun. Had a cacao drink previously - not a fave either, darn it. But props for the effort, the choices and upping the level on health, brain and immunity choices at a coffee house! FYI, I brought my own fruit to add to the granola since it doesn't come w/any. Sweetened w/maple syrup, not sugar. read more

This place is great! Organic is always my go to. The avocado toast was the best ever! And they have a wonderful selection of tonic herbs and super nutrients to add to your coffee or tea. I'm giving them 4 stars simply because the barista seemed inexperienced considering the bounty of ingredients that she had to work with - first order of mastery of any tonic herbalist is to have the skill necessary to make a healthy elevating elixir taste great! What a cute plaza with cute cafe! I love their offering. If their mushroom potion worked for my constitution, I would've orders it in a heartbeat! I love mushroom products and foods! I think this might top the most expensive drink I had in Kaua'i as of yet. Despite the shock, my matcha chocochip latte with macnut milk was excellent. A cute little shop with outdoor seating. The biggest draw here was for my husband with the options with Lion Power Potion (made with Lion's mane mushrooms). They have all sorts of superfood coffees/drinks: Mushroom Milk, Turmeric Coconut Chai, Highlove Superfood Steamer, Witch's Brew (made of Ashwagandha spice blend), and Matcha Latte. They have delicious sounding pastries, a good selection of loose-leaf teas and regular coffee. Admittedly, for me, the coffee and pastry was not anything to warrant a second visit. The staff were very friendly and coffee and pastries ready in a good amount of time. They have several items for purchase in their shop: coffee making items and their mushroom milk for purchase. They do not have restrooms on site, but there are clean restrooms across the street at the supermarket. Also, a great stop to pickup some Hawaiian snacks and more! Across the walkway was the Kilauea Fish Market, which we loved! read more

terrible service, took 15 minutes to toast two bagels while he told us to leave and wait outside so we don't watch him somehow mess up a BAGEL??? plus 2 bagels were 20 dollars and they weren't even the everything bagel we asked for.
