Like no cinnamon in this roll :(
    Lisa B.

I came here because I thought it was going to be good from what I saw on TikTok, but I ordered a breakfast burrito that was all made of super sharp cheddar cheese, huge pieces of potato and egg. Missing the roasted peppers, onion and cilantro. I also ordered a cinnamon roll that had like no cinnamon, it was frosted bread. Super bummed.

The line is always long if you arrive past 8am. I visited this place a few times while visiting Kauai. I got addicted to the waffle. One time I got there close to 9am and it was sold out. You order and sit outside or take to go. I've tried some sandwiches. Everything was so good and fresh. The staff was also very nice.

An MUST SEE breakfast/ coffee shop in Hanalei! The smell of coffee, warm bread, bakery items, bacon, and avacado toast, literally lures you in off the street to this establishment. The inside of the shop is lively with good music and incredible staff. Which brings the service and hospitality to an amazing level! Super pleased every time we start our days here, the food and drinks always taste super fresh and are perfect for the morning palette. Thank you Hanalei Bread Co.

Hanalei Bread Co. was exactly the kind of breakfast stop we were hoping for on the North Shore: fresh, relaxed, and easy to enjoy before a day around Hanalei. I got a fruit/granola bowl topped with banana, strawberries, and blueberries, and it was bright, fresh, and really satisfying without feeling too heavy. The fruit tasted vibrant, the granola added a good crunch, and the whole bowl felt like the right Kauaʻi breakfast--simple, colorful, and made for eating outside. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, with that laid-back Hanalei feel. It's a great spot if you want coffee, pastries, or a fresh breakfast before heading to the beach, exploring town, or driving back toward Princeville. Would definitely recommend stopping here early in the day. It feels like one of those places that fits the rhythm of Hanalei perfectly.

Went back before departing for the mainland. Lines still crazy AND Absolutely worth it. Go and enjoy. Updated to 5 stars

gluten free bread was SO good! Great flavor and held up well. BLT was delish and the aioli was perfect. Got a lavender matcha latte too, which was very refreshing. Loved sitting outside and relaxing!

This place was mentioned on quite a few Kauai itineraries and I understand why. Its nice establishment across the street from the Ching Young Village. They closed at 1230 so we got there around 11. Unfortunately, by that time most of the baked goods were gone. There was one blueberry muffin left and it tasted great! I also ordered a tropical smoothie and it tasted so fresh and refreahing! My friends ordered avocado toast; it looked great and was told it was just as good. There had to be at least two avocados a plate. Great place and a must visit when in Kauai!

This place is definitely popular for a reason! It's very cute with good food and great pastries. Pricey but the servings are huge. Breakfast burrito was great. Yogurt bowl was mid at best. I can make a better one at home (skip that). Blueberry poptart was pretty comm good too! Worth the stop but be ready for wait times!

Parking is very hard to find at lunch time. Breads are very good & fresh. Closes at 12:30pm. Plenty of outdoor seating. Sometimes you can overhear the outdoor performances. They give you a number and they bring you the food outside.

Waited all week to give this place a try outside of the coffee. They do have extremely das service. Everyone is very nice and friendly. The decor and feel of the place fits the Hanalei vibes for sure and it's great that it's open seating indoor and outdoor. The coffee is great! I got the Cold Brew both times. The food is great. Nothing absolutely spectacular but it is very fresh. The bread on the sandwiches is light and fluffy. I had a Rueben, a Breakfast burrito and the fancy toast with Gluten Free Bread (just to try it). The Gluten free bread is amazing and some days they have gluten free banana bread which was just amazing! All the food is fresh and tasty with great flavor profiles. I highly suggest this place when visiting!

Their breakfast sandwich was enough to split and we couldn't go without the bagel.

If your in the area of the North Shore don't miss out for a chance to enjoy this place. The atmosphere is relaxing offering both indoor and outdoor seating. The bread is so fresh as are all the ingredients they use. If your lucky enough you can snag a loaf to take with you before it's sold out cause it will sell out. Friendly and fast service

We went here several times for breakfast during our stay in North Kauai, and it quickly became one of our favorite morning spots. Over a few visits, we tried the avocado toast, apple ricotta toast, peanut butter banana toast, breakfast burritos, mocha, latte, and tropical smoothie -- everything was consistently good. My personal favorites: the tropical smoothie (so fresh and vibrant), the breakfast burrito (the salsa on the side is surprisingly amazing), and the apple ricotta toast -- sweet, rich, and definitely one to share. And of course, a mocha to end the meal. Highly recommend starting your day here if you're in Hanalei. Just a heads up -- lines can get long when placing your order at the counter. Food is brought out to your table, but you'll need to pick up your drinks at the smoothie/coffee counter.

Are there gift cards to purchase? Would like to buy one for a friend traveling to hanalei for vacay, and htis looks like a nice breakfast surprise for them!! Let me know ASAP!

There is no website that I was able to find so I do not know and google info does not show it. U might try calling to see. Its a tiny little place in a super laid back place so it wont surprise me if answer is no. But Id still call.

    Is there wifi available?

    No wifi. You're on vacation.

Do the breakfast burritos come with a corn or flour tortilla? Want to go here but my husband's gluten free, not sure he could have anything else.

Flour tortillas. I'm sure they would provide the filling without the tortilla in a bowl or something.

Service was accommodating and attentive while we navigated the menu; they offered recommendation as well which we really appreciated it. To drink, I ordered the cold brew with mac milk. It was refreshing! Not too creamy if that's not your style. Also not too sweet - which I really liked. Friend ordered the banana bread which was good but not stand-out. To eat, we split a garlic shrimp plate, breakfast burrito, and churro French toast. The garlic shrimp was my pick and it was seasoned well. Some parts of the shrimp were a little too mushy but overall good. The best thing on that plate was the mac salad! The breakfast burrito was good but even better with the salsa provided. The star was truly the churro French toast - which is less of a French toast and more like a fried donut? Nonetheless, the sauce/cream it came with was divine and paired amazing with the cinnamon-y crispiness of the bread. A cute little spot in Hanalei worth trying if you find yourself along the north shore for brunch.

My husband found them on-line and from the moment of initial contact, Carla was amazing to work with. Our wedding was a destination wedding with the reception in the backyard of a large house that our family rented. We had about 24 guests including us, which seemed like a lot for a destination wedding. We had a wedding 'coordinator' to help us with the planning but to be honest, she wasn't great. Carla offered suggestions and per positive and joyful demeanor was such a pleasure to work with. The food.... This was to die for. Chef Eric is truly talented and the passion for what he does is reflected in his cooking. They came into the house, worked in the smaller kitchen, and kept bringing out food that was delicious. It has been over 6 months since our wedding and our guests still talk about how wonderful the food was. My mother in law, the one that rented the house, also still talks about how they came in, cooked, cleaned up and left and you never would have known someone was working in the kitchen. We had appetizers, salads, finger foods, small main dishes and a cupcake tower all by Chef Eric. Chef Eric and Carla are locals and community helpers. There was plenty of food left over from our reception and instead of throwing it away, they donated the food to a local charity which I was very touched by. If there is any question as to whether to book them, do it. You will be just as amazed as my husband and I were.
