This breakfast spot was a great find! The place itself is really cute and welcoming, and the fried spam sandwich was delicious--crispy, savory, and satisfying. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

So glad we stopped here! The burritos were incredible--big, hearty, and super satisfying. Fair warning: show up early because they sell out fast. My kiddo had the pancake sandwich and wow... portions are generous and worth every penny. Don't make the mistake of driving by--this food truck is a must-stop.

This place is truly the most amazing food on Kauai! Located in Princeville its a Husband and Wife ran food truck. The food is all amazing i stayed 7 days and went every single morning they were opened! Must try ! Shoutout to Chef Juan he is truly Talented!

We had a great breakfast at this food wagon today. They've been serving up hearty and delicious breakfast and brunch items for six years at the current location. My wife ordered the Pancake Sandwich and it was big enough for two. With bacon, sausage and two eggs between two pancakes, this is a feast. I went in a different direction and tried the BLT with lots of smoky bacon and ripe tomatoes. Loved the house made chips. They have picnic tables with a cover to block out the sun. Probably the best thing was how friendly and proud the owners are of their business. Check them out!

Worth a try! What we got: Shared The Local sandwich as a pre-beach snack. If you're familiar with good salsa - fragrant, flavorful with a proper kick; you'll appreciate their salsa verde. Eggs were a bit boring, but the sandwich overall was worth getting again. Atmosphere: This truck is located at the end of the street behind the fire station. It gives brickyard vibes, though Saenz is the only truck here. There is a small covered dining area with plenty of parking spots. Service: Solid. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Absolutley, the best breakfast I had in Kauai - and there are some really good breakfast places! I am not a huge food truck fan, I want to sit down instead of trying to hold a plate in one hand, eat with the other while trying to find a place to set my drink down. This truck or actually wagon, had a parking lot and a row of picnic tables to sit. I was good with that. There were a few people ahead of us, it was clear that the person working the window was busy. She was pleasant and apologized for the slight wait. We ordered and sat down. Within a few minutes, I heard my name called. Although the breakfast was a bit pricey, all of Hawaii is pricey, I thought the portions were generous. I loved what looked like hasselback potatoes but fried. I didn't get a slice of ham on the english muffins, I got a ham steak, the eggs were perfectly cooked and everything smothered in hollandaise sauce. I wasn't the only one impressed, everyone around the table seemed to be talking about what they ordered and how much they liked it. Later in the day, my partner made it clear where we should be going the following morning!

Love stopping in for some flavorful breakfast. Family owned and operated, it's a true mom and pop shop. Check out their instagram to stay in the know if they are open or not. Service is quick for how many cooks are in the kitchen. Aka just one. Most items are available in sandwich, burrito or omelette form. Tou get a side of sauce, garlic aioli or salsa verde. I recommend adding a side to get the best of both worlds. They also have a savory variety of French toast and pancakes. They over hot or iced coffee, with Mac or coconut nut milk. That's it. And it's good. Go visit them. Try it all!

Pro tip. They can sell out before closure so would recommend coming earlier rather then later. Ambiance is very Kauai iykyk (which i loved) service 10 Food was harty and delicious, well made. Large portions. You will have left overs or would recommend splitting. I really wanted to try their burritos but unfortunately they were sold out by 11am. Fried Spam sando 9/10 lost of everything, would split with someone lol Pancake sandwich 8/10 the pancakes are very dense Definitely would recommend and would love to return.

This is a nice hidden gem. The service was very welcoming and quick. There was a few bigger groups ahead of us that ordered but it wasn't as long of a wait as anticipated. The food was pretty good. The french toast was okay but the pulled pork eggs Benedict was phenomenal! We also tried the Juan Burrito and it was pretty good as well. Since there are minimal breakfast places nearby, we will definitely be back!

Hot, delicious & flavorful food! Prepared us for an amazing day ahead. The staff were kind and we loved the vibes eating with the chickens. The salsa is super good & spicy! Loved it.

Come here for good vibes, friendly service, and excellent food! Super happy that this was a stop on our vacation. Everything was delicious! We had the following: Pancake sticks-so good or as they say ono in Hawaii! Beef and Pork tacos! Both were delicious for lunch and the chips that came with them are freshly made and just good! The garlic sauce is also great! Can't go wrong here! The Benedict's looked good too! There is a parking lot and a few picnic tables with a pop-up tent over it.

Service was accommodating and attentive while we navigated the menu; they offered recommendation as well which we really appreciated it. To drink, I ordered the cold brew with mac milk. It was refreshing! Not too creamy if that's not your style. Also not too sweet - which I really liked. Friend ordered the banana bread which was good but not stand-out. To eat, we split a garlic shrimp plate, breakfast burrito, and churro French toast. The garlic shrimp was my pick and it was seasoned well. Some parts of the shrimp were a little too mushy but overall good. The best thing on that plate was the mac salad! The breakfast burrito was good but even better with the salsa provided. The star was truly the churro French toast - which is less of a French toast and more like a fried donut? Nonetheless, the sauce/cream it came with was divine and paired amazing with the cinnamon-y crispiness of the bread. A cute little spot in Hanalei worth trying if you find yourself along the north shore for brunch.

My husband found them on-line and from the moment of initial contact, Carla was amazing to work with. Our wedding was a destination wedding with the reception in the backyard of a large house that our family rented. We had about 24 guests including us, which seemed like a lot for a destination wedding. We had a wedding 'coordinator' to help us with the planning but to be honest, she wasn't great. Chef Eric is truly talented and the passion for what he does is reflected in his cooking. They came into the house, worked in the smaller kitchen, and kept bringing out food that was delicious. It has been over 6 months since our wedding and our guests still talk about how wonderful the food was. My mother in law, the one that rented the house, also still talks about how they came in, cooked, cleaned up and left and you never would have known someone was working in the kitchen. We had appetizers, salads, finger foods, small main dishes and a cupcake tower all by Chef Eric. Chef Eric and Carla are locals and community helpers. There was plenty of food left over from our reception and instead of throwing it away, they donated the food to a local charity which I was very touched by. Foodland is a Hawaiian original, founded in Honolulu on 1948 as Hawaii's first modern supermarket, and continues to be owned by the founder's family. It has 31 locations across the islands, but only one is still open in Kauai (the Lihue location closed during Covid). It's kinda hidden, so would need to explicitly look for it. It's a medium size supermarket. The poke station and hot deli are located together with the same associates manning both. It was busy and crowded around that area, so important to pull a number and wait. Once my number was called, got seven different items and the associate was patient. My wife doesn't like poke, so made herself a hot lunchbox for a good price (one Korean chicken drumstick at $2.50 each; cheddar cheese tots $2.79 for 0.31 lbs; one corn cob $1.29) while I made a deconstructed poke bowl ($3.38 for 2 scoops of white rice; chili garlic crunch ahi $4.80 for 0.30 lbs; Poke fresh ahi hawaiian style $11.56 for 0.34 lbs; california style ahi $4.80 for 0.30 lbs). My favorite was the California style, with the avocado. It reminds me of the taste of a California roll.
