We stopped by early right before opening for a morning acai bowl. I got the nourish bowl which comes with nut butter, gogi berries, pineapple and banana. Loved the addition of nut butter for some protein and creaminess and the gogi berries were a unique topping. Really generous serving and we enjoyed eating while looking out at the view. It was raining and there's not a covered area outside the food stand but we caught a gorgeous rainbow which made the wait in the rain worth it. This is a picturesque spot for an Acai Bowl shack. We stopped before we got on the road for the day and it was great. This is a 6/5 view and 3.75/5 Acai Bowl. The bowl is good but there are some much better options on the island. They were pretty scarce with the fruit (especially when compared to online photos) but the flavor was good. They also stopped using homemade granola and now just get a local but very commercial brand. The view is spectacular and the chickens jumping on your table is fun. Gorgeous views from the truck, the women are so hard working. We truly enjoyed both our bowls. The Kauai Thai bowl basil, cilantro, chicken, local greens with a peanut sauce and garlic herb dressing. The rainbow bowl had pulled pork, black beans, pineapple salsa, kaffir coconut rice. Everything was fresh, cohesive and refreshing. Definitely need to try. I was immediately annoyed, as we arrived to this SHACK, in the middle of nowhere-- just behind an black Escalade that dumped like 8 chatty, photo-snapping, highly confused tourists out, like it was a clown-car. They gave my friend's bowl away to a different customer after we had waited quite a while, then was sold out of ingredients, and instead of offering a refund for a long wait and no longer having rice, she blamed me, saying I took my friends bowl, and then said we needed to pay better attention. Unfortunately, the view is the best thing about this place and there's still much better places to go for a nice view. I got a Soursap Lemonade to start and it was good, but nothing special. I got their Nourish Acai Bowl with no coconut chips. Their Anahola granola was incredibly sweet to the point it was hurting my teeth. Their seasonal fruit was pineapple and a specific apple. The sauce that came with the bowl (casgew vegab sauce) was amazing and we wished that we had more. We licked that little container clean and would love to pour the sauce on pretty much anything. Parking can be tricky since its at the end of a neighborhood but we found a spot a little walk away. Hands down the best matcha latte on the island. There is something spiritual about the level of smoothness their match latte brings. We were on Kauai for 12 days and I think we got matcha at Nourish 5 times and part of our stay we were about a 25 minute drive away! Came here with my boyfriend and we ordered two nourish açaí bowls around 9AM. Parking was packed and we waited about an hour for our two bowls. Unfortunately, they were delicious and so fresh, that I would love to come back! The extra $2 for the guava may not have been worth it, but I would still recommend just for the experience. Hard to find pink guava where I am on the mainland. Portion was a bit small compared to the other photos I see here. The view of the bay itself is a bit limited, just a small part over the fence. But the island of Kauai is absolutely stunning with all the greenery. If I am ever blessed with the opportunity to come again, I would go early when they open to find parking and hopefully reduce wait time.
