Lots of aloha for Pineapple Express! We were so glad we could stop by and loved all the food. Super friendly and terrific service. Nice and relaxing with some picnic table seating if you want to eat there, but perfect for takeaway meals to your favorite beach. We wish we could've come back again! If you're in Kapa'a, def go visit! Loco moco was eaten before I could take a picture.

3.5 stars. Lone food truck in a lot with a few parking spaces, another eating establishment and another food truck around the corner. We shared 2 items, fried spam musubi and pork Lau Lau which came with rice and a scoop of Mac cheese. The pork was juicy and moist. Mac cheese was OK. I didn't care for the fried musubi. It had chopped bits is Spam instead of whole slice on top of the rice. What I liked the most was the lilikoi lemonade with a delicious mix of the 2 flavors.

Stopped here directly after my flight for a quick snack, and this was the BEST fresh & tasty food to have after a flight. I love the variety of options on the menu and the prices are really good too. Also, the lady in the front was so nice I've never had any Spam Musubi like this, but it was SO good I loved the crispiness and the flavor. I ubered from the airport for $7 (if there's a surge, just wait 5-20 mins until it goes down.) Also, it's right on the left of Walmart. Thanks for the yummy food & a nice welcome to Kaua'i! Mahalo! Ahhhh.... What a great place. Great food, great smells, and an awesome chef! If you are near the Walmart give this a try. After getting the food back to the resort I can honestly say that it was excellent. After my frustrating experience this morning at The Kountey Kitchen in Kapaa I would recommend this location hands down. Keep up the good work.

We came right as they were closing, I believe they ran out of a lot of things so they closed a little early, keep that in mind when planning this for an early dinner. I ordered the Garlic Furikake Chicken plate (comes with Mac salad and rice) but they were out of Mac salad :( so they doubled the rice. That's easily the best chicken I've ever had! I'm bummed they ran out of Mac salad but I'd definitely just plan to come earlier instead of when they were closing. The lady I ordered from was very nice and complimented my Selena shirt (anything for Selena!:) she helped me along with my order and I ended up loving what I got. Definitely recommend! It's located in the Walmart parking lot so there's plenty of parking too!

The mac salad was my favorite compared to other places as well. I also ordered the fried spam musubi. I was mind blown. I loved that it was in the form of a little roll. So amazing. Do not miss out on this little food truck in the Walmart parking lot in Lihue!

We tried hurricane shrimp, deep fried spam musubi, pork plate lunch, poke and a pineapple smoothie. This was our first truck we tried in Kauai and 5 meals around the island later it's been the best and most memorable. I'm not a huge fan of musubis but this one was SO GOOD! You can tell that the food is made with passion and love. The hospitality was amazing as well! We will be back before we leave!

The food is enjoyable however it is definitely not the classic local flavors. I've tried a few things to give it a shot but as a local it's hard to stray away from the flavors we are used to.. you'll be satisfied but not in awe. my biggest critique is the chili pepper chicken it was basically just the thai sweet chili sauce there was no chili peppers whatsoever and was not shoyu based it was an orange tangy sauce (like the thai chili). also the "lychee lemonade" option was the same lemonade I've bought in a carton from big save read more

Been here twice and both times the food was so ONO My favorite so far is the Cali bowl. Fresh poke over a bed of greens. It's definitely my favorite poke bowl of all times. I love that this food truck is conveniently located at Walmart which is walking distance from my job. The drinks are both delicious and refreshing. Interesting location being in the Walmart parking lot but also makes sense since Walmart is always busy! So lots of traffic near by! Staff was super nice! I got the loco moco and unfortunately the beef patties were very raw in the middle. But the flavor of everything else was good! They ran out of Mac salad which I was looking forward to trying. The woman were extremely sweet! The portions are large and the meat is very tender. I had teriyaki steak with pickled cucumber that was absolutely delicious! The macaroni salad was a little bland .... Exactly how I like it! The mango smoothie was so full of mango, what a treat. read more

It was super refreshing, flavorful, and perfect for the island vibes. They offer two sizes, and I went with the smaller one, which was honestly perfect. It comes in the cutest reusable glass bottle, and they let you return it (washed) for store credit -- such a great eco-friendly touch! But honestly, it's also such a cute souvenir that you might want to keep it. The shop itself also carries a variety of other items, so I'll definitely be coming back to explore more during our trip. The location is great too -- there's plenty of street parking and a nearby parking lot, and it's surrounded by other cute shops and foodie spots, making it a great place to walk around and explore. I chose Kauai Juice company and had my very first juice which to this day is one of my favorites. Since July, I've branched out to not only the juices, and juice shots, but also the tinctures. They've got a truly spectacular selection of supplements as well as salads, chocolate and honey. I also enjoy their merch. I bought a Kauai Juice racer back tank that I practically lived in the entire summer long! All of the juice baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a regular at Kauai Juice and I've also branched out from the OG spot in Kapaa to the larger location in Kilauea. Highly recommend this place! They're awesome

One of her friends accidentally knocked over a pole sign, which hit the car parked next to her establishment. Overall, it was nice to try this place out but I don't think I'd go back again. Tip for Chase Sapphire Preferred and Reserve cardholders: This location uses Square to process payments, which does not process as Dining (confirmed by Chase customer service) so you will not receive your bonus earn here. I found out the hard way :(.

I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

The natural ingredients deliver a healthy and satisfying treat. The Strawberry Mango was fantastic with mango juice, strawberry purée and mango chunks.
