I stopped here immediately upon landing in Kauai and wow! Great food & service. While waiting for my food, I walked down to the beach. This is in a food truck zone and Tony's was the most popping place in the area. My Fish Tacos were perfect and the Carne Asada Fries were delicious, as well. Crispy & flavorful! I almost went back a second time, but wanted to give some love to other businesses. But next time I am in Kauai, I will repeat the process! Mahalo for amazing food! There is a reason this was voted #1 Food Truck for 2025 by Yelp!

Omg!! Best fish tacos we have ever had!!! They were so good looking, we gobbled them up and forgot to take a picture. Lol For $17 you get two large pieces of crispy beer-battered Mahi -mahi tacos topped with pineapple-cilantro slaw and cream sauce. They are served with homemade pinto beans and rice. The beans were amazing!!! The Mahi-mahi was fresh and cooked to perfection. DON'T FORGET to ask for the habanero hot sauce for $1. It's not too hot and it was soooooo delicious on the tacos. They were absolute heaven!!!! I can't emphasize enough how much you need to try this food truck! You will be so happy you did!! The service was excellent and the owners were so friendly and kind. There is also a sushi food truck and a Hawaiin BBQ truck with plenty of picnic benches to sit at. You can see the ocean as you dine. At night they have strings of light to add so much charm.

One word...TOSTADAS! Get them, you won't regret it. Seared Ahi, crunchy tostada, corn, beans, cabbage and some sort of magical crema on top. So good. If you're not a tuna kind of person...fish and chips is a VERY close second. Don't miss this on any trip to Kauai, especially if you're wanting to eat the best on a budget.

Tony's was on the way from the airport to our house for the week, and I had to try his food. The kindness of his customer service combined with good food makes him a catch! I called the order in, his number is 808-346-4641. The time to pick up was 15 minutes. We wanted to try the tostadas, tacos and the asada fries. The habanero sauce on the side is delicious. We loved each of the entrees and would order them again.

I had this place bookmarked prior to our visit to Kauai and my aunt actually sent me an Instagram post claiming this is the Number 1 Food Truck in the United States in 2025. So I HAD to go! There are several other trucks located here and there's ample seating available. It's just off the beach so if there aren't any tables, just grab a seat by the ocean! Service was great! I was helped right away and they bring the food to your table with utensils and napkins. I had to get the Zicatela-style fish tacos since that is their claim to fame. They did not disappoint. They were LOADED and delicious! I wanted to come back and try more items from their menu but ran out of time on our trip. Definitely check them out when in Kapa'a!

This place was delicious. We got the poke bowl with spicy tuna with rice. We dug in so quickly, we got a photo of our bowl half eaten (sorry!) This place was surrounded by other food trucks drawing a steady crowd. They had 6 shaded picnic tables for their customers on a sandy parking spot over looking the ocean. The service was fast and friendly, they provided trash cans and a clean area to eat, and they had around 6 parking spots on the lot. Glad we stopped on the way to princeville.

Fish tacos were amazing with a generous amount of protein--definitely great bang for your buck. Service was friendly and efficient, though it took about 15 minutes for our food to arrive. Casual outdoor seating makes for a relaxed meal, and the location next to a walking path is perfect for a stroll afterward. It does get busy, so plan accordingly.

I just had to try the #1 Yelp food truck in the nation during this visit to Kapaa and was not disappointed! I was torn between the ahi tostadas and the mahi fish and chips and ended up order the later. The batter was light and fluffy and the mahi was so flaky and delicious. The order came with 5 big pieces of fish and a box full of tasty fries with ketchup and tartar sauce. Would definitely come here again! Friendly and quick service.

Staff were friendly and gracious. Great beach side location. Very fresh! Fish tacos - Mahi Mahi - beans and rice. Great for families and everyone else. Beautiful view. Funky array of picnic tables nicely shaded. Nothing overcooked here, light enough to not sit heavy on your system. Good amount of food here too - probably could have stopped at one taco but they are so darn good!

One of my best meals on my Kauai trip. I think about it often even though it's been 1.5 years. The tostada is INCREDIBLE. Order Tony's tostada. There is a nice area of picnic tables to eat and a nice walking path nearby. The owner is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Great tacos and tostada. The fish and shrimp are nicely fried, and the ahi is grilled to be perfectly tender with a delicious crust. Went there three times while on Kauai for the weekend, it was that good. The green salsa on the fish tacos is more vinegar-y, while the pink salsa on the shrimp tacos is more like what I'm used to in Southern California. Next time, I want to try the fish tacos with the shrimp salsa. A little pricey for the quantity of food. There is a parking lot with plenty of space and lots of outdoor seating.

Came on a Sunday and it had a steady stream of customers. We were told that it would take 15-20 minutes but who minds when you have a beautiful view of the ocean?! We ordered the poke bowl and tostadas. The poke bowl was average and the rice was under cooked. The tostada was delicious - super crispy shell and beautifully seared fish. Get there early for these as they run out. We didn't get the habanero sauce on ours but saw that others did. Service was friendly.

Wow! Tony's was named THE Best food truck 2025 for a good reason! Best fish and chips on Kauai for sure! Friendly fast service! I called my takeout order and it was ready when I stepped up to the window! Excellent service, clean atmosphere perfectly situated near the beach.

It's definitely a local favorite due to its generous portions, authentic Hawaiian cuisine and friendly service. We ordered the fried chicken and poke combo with wonton chips and the ahi katsu (my absolute fav). The ahi was fried to perfection- crispy on the outside while rare and tender on the inside. The sauce on the katsu was absolutely fire!!! So good! Macaroni salad was creamy and delicious. And the rice was perfect. Its right off a main road and you cannot miss it. Parking lot was a bit small, but there was plenty of parking. AMBIANCE: When I went there was plenty of seating. A bit dead, but I also did go pretty early. There were a bunch of decor of older American pop culture like Bruce Lee, Chuck Norris, etc. But also Hawaiian themed decor (obviously). SERVICE: You gotta walk up to the front to order. I was approached almost immediately as soon as I walked up to the menu on the screen. The girl working was super friendly and welcoming. I made my order and she gave me a pager for when my food was ready. FOOD: I ordered the chili pepper chicken, which was recommended from the girl at the counter. My friend ordered the ahi katsu. The chili pepper chicken was good! It was crispy and extremely flavorful. It was slightly too salty for my taste, but luckily the rice does help balance it out. Some of the crispness was sacrificed for the sauce, but it was overall still pretty crispy. I loved that they used boneless chicken thigh. I was expecting bones or lots of breading but it actually had a perfect ratio. I wasn't much a fan of the mac salad. It was like a mix of mac and potato salad, but more like a potato salad. I'm not big on potato salad, so that makes sense. My friend's ahi katsu was alright in my opinion. The sauce that's on it was good and enjoyed all the flavors. The tuna was just a bit overcooked to my liking, but idk how else one would make a katsu without overlooking it too much. Maybe bread the fish and freeze it before frying? Idk man, I'm not a chef lol but the tuna would definitely be better if it was less cooked. OVERALL: Honestly, I would still come here again. I still enjoyed the meal and the service was pretty quick. Both items were both worth trying. All the flavors were there and the little things I didn't like were just personal preferences. Its a great place to pick up a lunch plate and enjoy it at the beach.
