    Chicken tacos

I ended up ordering here one night when our original dinner plans fell through. It was getting later in the day and a lot of places close early. This place was right down the street from where we were staying. I walked in and was helped right away. I had asked if I could order to go and it wasn't going to be a problem at all. I ordered and paid and was told I could have a seat while I waited. The place is cute and there's a decent amount of seating available. The order didn't take long and the server grabbed several containers of salsa for me. My youngest ordered chicken tacos which she seemed to enjoy. My oldest got the carne asada fries which looked amazing. She couldn't finish it in one sitting. I went with the Al pastor tacos and they were decent, but I've had better elsewhere.

Happa Haole here back on Kauai we decided to try a spot we've always wanted to try and it did not lets us down!!! The chili verde burrito plate was straight fire the flavor was very close to brother Joes ( my family member) who was from Mexico and made everything fresh from his garden! My wife got the carne asada salad and she said it was delicious! We topped it off with what turned out to be one of the best flans we've ever had! We grew up in SF and have been spoiled by our selection of Mexican food and Pacos definitely rivals anything we've ever had!! Shout out to our waiter Exodus who was full of aloha and made it even more enjoyable

Not much to say. The food was phenomenal. I almost started to lick my plate. The chips for my salsa were so warm and good. The shrimp were a healthy size and plentiful. Overall an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend. The waitress was polite. The service was good

Good food. I had the 3 shrimp taco Tuesday special and my husband had the chicken mole enchilada with rice and beans. Good atmosphere and friendly service.

We stopped in here because it was crowded.. hoping for good and inexpensive tacos. The carne asada tacos were barely seasoned and the ceviche was grainy.. never seen ceviche grainy before so I didn't eat it. Maybe the other menu items are better but I should've known with the multi colored chips.

Food was ok. It wasn't super warm or hot. I feel like there are better places for sure to get a good authentic taco.

The people were friendly. However, food was mediocre, and spicy margaritas was not spicy and mainly ice.

I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

They also have options for poke bowls if you'd like, they offer half and half options of ahi fish just different flavors. If that make sense. Honestly loved it so much! Service was super fast paced everyone going in knew what they wanted and it was also lunch time so everything was moving fast! It is a store like place, so it kind felt like I was walking into a deli but with fish options!

We both deduced the driver was a thief! The owner was super cool and chill and no one was to blame but DD. Regardless, we ordered the loco moco and it was DELICIOUS! Because of the DD mishap, the owner gave us 6 donuts. We came in the next day and grabbed some. The maple-bacon donut and Malasadas were pillowy and delicious. Thank you for the great food and wonderful customer experience.

No names were called when the food was brought out, and there were only two parties dining in the restaurant. The food was placed directly on the other table, where it was eaten while we waited another 20 minutes for our order to be remade. From what we observed, the other party appeared to know the staff and was not asked to pay while we were there. Mistakes happen, and as fellow business owners, we understand that. What disappointed us was how the situation was handled. We would have appreciated ownership of the mistake and an effort to make it right. We wish you and your business the best. Original review: We stopped here for a light lunch after the Fern Grotto tour. The iced coffee was very good, but unfortunately our dining experience was disappointing. When ordering, the employee at the counter seemed impatient while we looked over the menu, and the interaction felt rushed. We ordered fries, wings, two malasadas, and a loco moco without an egg. While waiting we ended up getting iced coffees. After waiting about 15-20 minutes, our food was brought to another group, even though it matched our order exactly. We had to point out the mistake ourselves. The other group proceeded to eat the entire meal we paid for while we waited another 20 minutes for our order to be remade. There was very little acknowledgment of the error, no meaningful apology, and no effort to make the situation right beyond offering us different food while we waited. We had already paid and ultimately asked for our meal to go. Mistakes happen, but how they're handled matters. Watching another table eat the meal we had ordered and paid for without anyone taking ownership of the situation made for a very uncomfortable experience. The wings and fries were average, the coffee was excellent, but based on the service and how this was handled, I would not recommend stopping here for a meal.

When I went there even happened to be some live music. It made for a lovely family friendly ambiance I got the "Next Level" bowl with additional soursop - Pros: way more filling than I expected. The peanut butter and coconut chunks definitely added heft. I loved the texture of the coconut chunks that added a chunky bite, whereas the granola added a light crisp. The textures were really fun to eat. The açai base wasn't overly sweet - Cons: aside from banana, any other fruit is additional $2.50, which is pretty pricey. In total, my bowl came to $20. It was unfortunate that the soursop wasn't fruit chunks, but instead a puree In addition to the standard menu, today they had a special bowl with assorted fruit on top, yum.
