Rob's is a popular little sports bar in Lihue. Great place to grab a drink with friends and family. It's has a lively atmosphere and they also bring in live entertainment. The food is actually pretty good for a sports bar and the menu has some interesting choices. Though they do have some pretty good meal options, what I enjoy the most are the appetizers. Fried ahi bites, calamari, and poke nachos are among my favorites. I could honestly just have a bunch of their appetizers for a meal and leave happy and satisfied. Overall a great hangout spot. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're just looking for a casual and fun place grad a drink and hangout. We were on vacation looking for a spot to watch UFC and we landed here. Parking: super easy, large lot Staff: all friendly , always appreciate that Food and drinks: Smoked lychee margarita: loved the presentation! The smoke flavor stood out, I had to wait for the ice to melt a little because it was strong Ribs: so tender! We had leftovers and accidentally left them *sad face* Kahlua pork: ok , i think I got spoiled by the other meal I had before this that had crisped up some of the pork Poke nachos: pretty good! The sauce on top is a little sweet so if I were to get it again I might ask for the sweeter sauce on the side Great spot to watch the fights and get some noms!

Friendly place, was open past 9 so we were able to get a late dinner. Quite busy but they still checked on us multiple times. People seemed to be having a good time. Food was solid, I enjoyed my poke bowl. Portions were great. Seems like a great place to grab a bite and a drink. There were quite a few family with kids as it's probably one of the places still open late ish around here.

I love me some Steak. Especially a Good Cut of Ribeye, fat to meat ratio was good. Just the right amount. Was very happy with the size and definitely the price. But, I would say Carrots was hard as a rock, had hard time putting my fork in um. Maybe if can offer some different sides to tje menu. Like maybe mashed potatoes with some homemade brown gravy, mushrooms, baked potato, baked beans. Etc. Jiat my suggestion. But, th3y also have more Onolicious grinds, smoke meat plate winnah, hamburger steak, the burgers are killa. Enjoy! Aloha.

Delicious and large portions! We were told that this place is popular because it's open later with music but we came for lunch. Great service too!

This is my favorite bar and grille on island. Killer draft selection and solid food! Friendly staff and TVs everywhere. 5 stars for sure.

Eh the food here was not good. Typical bar food you can get anywhere. The BBQ plate was borderline gross - ribs were fatty and chicken was slimey. Burger was just average. Waitress was nice but otherwise nothing special. Edit: my daughter ended up getting food poisoning from the food. My husband told me he found a spider in his salad! Gross!!!

This place has to be on your must eat while in Kauai! The atmosphere is alive and vibing. The food is good and the daily catch specials are fabulous! Please be advised this is a very load restaurant/bar with live entertainment and music playing. If you have sensitive hearing PLEASE bring ear plugs or try sitting outside. The service was fast and frequent even with a full house.

This local sports bar is big, open and spacious. They have happy hour from 3-6 pm to watch your favorite sports games. TVs are everywhere in the restaurant. The appetizer options are amazing. A local favorite is the massive poke nachos! Wow! Yum! The entrees were all flavorful and very generous portions. The service is fast and friendly. Drinks here were delicious and made very well. Live music was fantastic here with guitar and ukelele. They were very entertaining. This place is fabulous on all fronts! A must try!

The Calamari was EXCELLENT!!! A lady at the Car Rental recommended this place and it did not Disappoint. Thank you Aimee!

All I could think of is - how much did they pay to create this place???? This is a cool bar in Kauai! They have live music (THANK YOU) and signed guitars on the walls. I think Santana and Eric Clapton signed those guitars. No, they weren't expensive guitars - probably only around $150 max on those, but with the signature, who knows???? Food, typical bar stuff. Beers - nice selection with local ales. Super friendly staff. A+++++

    burgers and fries

The food was delicious. Large portions. Drinks were very good and did not lack on the presentation. The hostess didn't seem very happy but not sure why. Other than that the place was awesome with live hawaiin music. Lots of parking and seating. Would definitely recommend! We will return when we vacation here again. Don't skip this place!

The service was OK, with the food being OK. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the mall, and was fairly hopping when we stopped in. We got lucky and got assigned a window table. The food as a whole was OK, with tourist prices. The Kalua Pork Sandwich ($20) was served on buttered texas toast and came with deeply battered french fries. The strawberry milk shake ($9) was not good: tasted ice in it which didn't make sense since it was marketed as a MILK shake. The edamame appetizer ($11) was a good beginning and we used that as our base. I got a bowl of the seafood chowder ($16) and it was a generous amount, very thick with plenty of clam and fish pieces, and it tasted good. Service was OK and we paid at the table using our credit card (no credit card surcharge here).

The setting is absolutely gorgeous - ocean views, tropical breezes, and an atmosphere that somehow manages to feel both elegant and welcoming at the same time. The service was excellent throughout the meal, attentive without hovering and genuinely friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a tale of two kitchens. My entrée - a kampachi and ahi tuna combination served with mashed potatoes, bok choy, and green beans - was outstanding. Perfectly cooked fish, beautifully plated, and packed with flavor. The honeycomb goat cheese salad was equally impressive and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Then came the rest of the table. My wife's vegetable curry was, frankly, difficult to finish. The flavors felt muddled and flat, especially compared to the care shown in the seafood dishes. The kids' mac and cheese fared even worse. It looked and tasted suspiciously like boxed macaroni with processed cheese sauce - the kind of thing you'd expect from a rushed concession stand, not a restaurant carrying Michelin recognition. That inconsistency is what keeps this from being a four- or five-star experience. When some dishes are exceptional and others feel like afterthoughts, it leaves you wondering which restaurant is going to show up at your table. I'd happily return for the fish, the salad, the service, and the view. I just wouldn't order the curry - and I'd definitely feed the kids beforehand.

The service was outstanding from the hostess, bar tenders, chefs and our wonderful server, Kapua!! She was so friendly and always checked on us without being intrusive. We have been on the island for 6 nights. Each evening we have tried Mai Tai's. Lava Lava's are by far the best!!! They are not too sweet and a good pour! We got there early as the other reviews said it gets crowded and they do not take reservations. We arrived at 5 pm on a Wednesday and were seated right away closest to the beach. For our starter we had edamame which was a large portion and so good. My husband ordered the Chicken Pineapple Rice Bowl and substituted the chicken for the coconut shrimp. The rice was AMAZING as well as the shrimp, but our only complaint was the portion was very small and was served with only 3 shrimp. The picture looks like you get a lot, but it came in a carved out SMALL pineapple. The presentation was beautiful though. I had the Ceasar salad and added chicken. It was so good!!! The lettuce was so crisp! Nothing worse than a Ceasar salad with wilty romaine lettuce. I've had plenty of those in my day. This was one of the best I've ever had! Everything arrived in a timely manner. We had a great night. Side note...they offer free valet parking which is at the very top of the parking lot. We didn't have time to eat lunch at Honolulu Airport, so Jamie W and I decided to come in here to dine. It was one of only two places to eat here, so it was a roll of the dice. Friday, June 10 at 5:15pm…read more After a satisfying rum tasting experience at Koloa Rum, my wife and I headed over to Maliki Lounge to try the Koloa Rum MaiTai (per the recommendation of a Koloa Rum). Upon entering the lounge, my wife and I decided to sit in the teal couch located near the back of the lounge (in direct view of the bar area). Since Happy Hour had just ended, the large crowd at the bar left leaving a somewhat empty lounge. Equipped with my signature smile (my close friends always comment on the fact that I have an infectious smile), I greeted the bartender and ordered a MaiTai for myself and a margarita for my wife. After leaving my card at the bar(we were prepared to indulge in quite a few beverages), I presented my wife with her drink as we engaged in conversation on the comfortable couch. As we consumed our beverages, we noticed that a small crowd of folks began making their way into the lounge (I have to add that these individuals were not seated at the bar). As we arrived to the sad conclusion of our delicious drinks, I began to wonder when an employee would stop by and ask if we were ready for another (or simply just provide the bare minimum of customer service by checking in with us). Initially I assumed that staff only provided service to patrons that were seated at the bar. However, I observed that some of the individuals seated in close proximity to us were receiving service. I looked at my watch and observed that a whopping 20 minutes had passed since we finished our drinks. During that 20 minutes I observed patrons receiving additional drinks and receiving food. During this time, I also began questioning my sanity. As each patron was checked on by an employee, I began to wonder if my wife and I had gone on to the afterlife and were invisible. The final straw was when an employee walked past us after checking in with another couple. I'm not one to pull the race card; however, I couldn't help but think that race played a factor because the other patrons were Caucasian (White). At this point I was ready to remove myself and my wife from this disgusting environment, and made my way to the bartender to close out my tab. If I were the stereotype that you see on Fox News (and if my card was not on file), we probably could have walked out of this bar unnoticed (without paying). When I calmly and quietly expressed my concern to the bartender (please note that I led with the fact that she makes delicious drinks), she told me that staff were busy tending to both lounge and restaurant patrons. However, we observed staff chatting casually amongst each other and moving with absolutely no sense of urgency. After delivering an uninspired apology (basically telling me to hurry up and close out the tab), she stated that she probably should have checked in on us herself. At this point she was better of telling me the real reason why we did not receive any customer service. I loved the cozy environment and the delicious drinks. However, that means nothing when you're a willing and able paying customer who is not acknowledged. My wife and I had a great time at the Koloa Rum Tasting Room. However, the lack of customer service at this establishment was an alarming reminder that we are indeed on a plantation. I understand that the pandemic is impacting everyone to some extent (especially the work ethic of staff); however, management needs to address this issue (there are multiple Yelp reviews expressing similar experiences.
