This Kaua'i Juice Co location is a little hidden gem. It's tucked in the back of the building so you either have to go around behind or walk through the hallway from Java Kai to find it. Totally worth the effort because the juices are so fresh and delicious! Heads up: it gets really really busy in the mornings so plan ahead if you don't want to wait. Same great juices, tonics, and wellness goodies as the other locations. A must stop if you're in Kapa'a.

Went in here to get a hula girl and they were all sold out. The staff were not helpful when I asked for something similar and I ended up with a really gross juice. I went back in and said I wanted to get something to sweeten it up and they weren't helpful at all. Will definitely go back to the Kōloa location over this one. This location is also hidden in the back and doesn't have any good outside seating options.

Very pleasantly surprised by the cold pressed juices here! The person at the counter was very sweet and helped us with recs. We wanted some veggies, and she recommended both the hula girl and the rainbow unicorn and they both taste amazing! Nice combo of fruits and veggies. I put a picture of the smaller size next to the larger size for scale

Talk about eating healthy while on vacation. Not only was everything healthy, it was also delicious and unique. My friend absolutely loves Kauai Juice and highly recommended I come and now I know why. It was all light and perfect for my husband and I to have in the morning before driving out to West Side. Also the jars are so adorable! I'll definitely be using these and trying to recreate some of their recipes when I get back home.

Kauai Juice Company is not only a great juice shop, it's also an incredible company that celebrates the rich produce grown on the island and provides delicious, nutrient-rich beverages and food for the community! From fresh juices, nut milks and kombucha-on-tap, to pantry items and grab-and-go plant-based food, they instantly became one of our favorite stops to fuel our adventure-filled days on the island. My hubby and I are plant-based athletes and fitness professionals so Kauai Juice Co. checks off all the boxes! We had a great conversation with Jillian at the Kapa'a location (which is their original location, as they now have 2 other shops in Kilauea and Koloa), and were able to first sample their Kombuchas. We had our travel tumblers, so we even saved a little money by providing our own cups. You can also bring back one of their glass bottles and save $1 on Kombucha-on-tap refills! The Blue Majik and Turmeric-Lemon-Ginger Kombucha were our favorites! Other instant favorites were Glow Juice and their Mac Nut Pesto Quinoa Salad! We love that they sell everything in branded glass Mason jars or bottles (they make great souvenirs for those of us visiting the island too!). A quick browse of their website tells you about their commitment to connecting local farmers to the consumers, and how they're dedicated to providing/inspiring health, happiness & Aloha. They most certainly do!

I always search out juice joints when I travel, and I was not disappointed! Great juice, açaí, and great service! Definitely a must!

Insanely refreshing. I loved the watermelon juice - it was exactly what I needed to rehydrate and reenergize! The staff had great recommendations and everything is priced fairly reasonably. I'll be back!

Stopped and picked up a few juices when we were in town. The sexy baby maker with macadamia nuts, cacao, cashew, date, and Tahitian vanilla. The akola with pineapple, strawberry, pomegranate, raspberry, blueberry, and cherry. Unfortunately I did not get pics of both. The akola was our favorite! Service was friendly. You can also bring the bottles back for a credit to use on future purchases. Or like us, we just dropped off rather than throw away.

Such a cool spot…read more Place is on the side of the road which you wouldn't expect to be anything special, but it's right next to a mountain. Super lush surroundings with ample outdoor seating (wooden benches). Service was very friendly. Drink: The "One Speed" coffee smoothie was the best smoothie I've ever had. Amazing combination of flavors, huge portion. Highly recommend for any coffee/chocolate/cinnamon fan; tasted kinda like an iced mocha with a hint of banana! Very balanced and not at all too sweet Wife got a coconut to drink - super refreshing. They cut up the coconut to eat the flesh after she finished! What a gem, will definitely return the next time I'm in Hawaii. Only regret is not trying more things.

When I went there even happened to be some live music. It made for a lovely family friendly ambiance I got the "Next Level" bowl with additional soursop - Pros: way more filling than I expected. The peanut butter and coconut chunks definitely added heft. I loved the texture of the coconut chunks that added a chunky bite, whereas the granola added a light crisp. The textures were really fun to eat. The açai base wasn't overly sweet - Cons: aside from banana, any other fruit is additional $2.50, which is pretty pricey. In total, my bowl came to $20. It was unfortunate that the soursop wasn't fruit chunks, but instead a puree In addition to the standard menu, today they had a special bowl with assorted fruit on top, yum. No full service washrooms on site, only porta potty

If you're visiting Kauai and looking for a local lunch spot, Pono Market is a must…read more We stopped in for lunch and ordered a little bit of everything: pork lau lau (which was a hit with my toddler, no less!), a couple of different poke options, and a plate with karaage and poke. I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

It is a store like place, so it kind felt like I was walking into a deli but with fish options!

But it both hasn't kept up with some of the more creative offerings at other shave ice places, and the quality was lower on our most recent trip (June 2026). Here are the rankings of the shave ice places from our last trip: Kauai Shave Ice Rankings 2026 1. (Tied) North Shore Bowls in Kilauea - very enjoyable and creative pre-designed flavor combos, nice fluffy ice, good ice cream, flavorful syrups 1. (Tied) Wailua Shave Ice - very enjoyable and creative pre-designed flavor combos, delicious toppings, very good ice texture and ice cream; too light on the syrup for one of our two trips 3. Wishing Well in Hanalei - good fluffy ice and really flavorful natural syrups; downside is it's very crowded (always!) and pretty basic 4. JoJo's in Hanalei - this is a standard shave ice place; ice was a bit compact and icy, but the syrup was plentiful (maybe too much, if you can believe that, for our one visit) and the ice cream was both generous and good 5. Hee Fat in Kapaa - great flavors but the syrup was light coverage, and the ice cream seemed gummy/freezer burned, ice was decent texture; used to be our favorite in Kauai in years past, but it hasn't kept up with other places and maybe the quality has gone down hill 6. Honu Shave Ice in Kapaa - syrup was very light, almost nonexistent on one of our shave ices, ice was clumpy/chunky, ice cream was really minimal, flavors were decent
