We had a genuinely amazing dinner here! Really great. The vibe of the restaurant is done so nicely, beautiful architecture, live music, and an indoor/ outdoor feel. The drinks were delicious (I loved my lychee martini) and the appetizer we had was incredible! Taro rolls and carrot muffins. The taro rolls were sooooo soft and delicious, never had anything like it. Then for dinner we each tried something different, I had the burger which was excellent! Special shout out to our amazing waiter, Tyrus. I don't think I've ever had such a personable, kind, and engaging waiter. He was hilarious and so fun to talk to. We almost skipped Keoki's Paradise because, on paper, it looked like exactly the kind of place where you pay for the tropical ambiance and tolerate the food. Thankfully, we were wrong. We ended up going for brunch instead of dinner because the brunch menu looked more interesting, and I actually think that's the move here. Keoki's feels more like a casual lunch or brunch spot than a destination dinner, and with those expectations, it delivers. The setting is lush and peaceful, with live music and a tropical atmosphere that immediately puts you in vacation mode. Okay, Keoki's, you can keep the "Paradise" in the name. We tried the taro French toast, which was unique and good. We also got the eggs Benedict and the Hawaiian breakfast. We very happy with all our dishes. I really liked the fried rice that came with it. Everything came with fresh pineapple, which was perfectly sweet and refreshing for dessert. We also ordered the mimosa flight, which came with a few different fresh tropical juices. Of all the juices, the POG stole the show. Champagne was mostly there for moral support. Keoki's Paradise isn't somewhere I'd go expecting a fancy culinary experience, but that's also not really what it's trying to be. We were seated right by their garden, which is beautiful. I loved being by the plants and birds. Server was nice and overall food was pretty good. I had a Mai Tai with local Koloa rum. The crispy pork hoisin ribs were tasty and had a nice kick. They were slightly dry, but pretty easy to get off the bone. It's a Dukes restaurant just named different, with similar and familiar decorations, which I'm not complaining about. Loving it. It's one of the reasons you choose a Dukes style restaurant. Huge portions, good food, and that tropics ambiance. It comes with a price tag though. They must employ many servers here, it's a large place and our server was nice. Did stop by to check in on us a few times (water refills was lacking though) and their mai tais was strong and tasty. Good kids menu too. My wife and I booked this place on a whim for a late night dinner and it was great! The restaurant was lively with a steady dinner rush, live music was playing, and staff was readily available and attentive. Their menu, as is the case at a lot of Hawaiian restaurants, is very heavily geared towards seafood, which I love, but didn't leave a ton of options for my wife. I ordered the "Keoki's Style," which is their seasonal fish atop some Okinawan purple mashed potatoes with coconut flavor mixed in. The fish was Wahoo, which is part of the mackerel family. It was flaky, flavorful, seasoned wonderfully, and the dish was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth paying this place a visit if you're nearby or in Poipu! read more

They had live music and just an overall lively atmosphere that made it feel like a true vacation dinner spot. Our server Colin was very attentive and friendly, especially on a busy weekend. My husband loved his meal, but I'm pregnant and honestly struggled a bit with the menu. There weren't a ton of options that felt right for me. I ended up getting a burger which was good, just not anything amazing. Overall we had a good experience and I'd still recommend it for the ambiance alone. Knew it would be a touristy type of restaurant, but what surprised us was the quality of food. Delicious! Prime rib with ausjus and creamy horseradish was the star. My brothers Ono Keokis style was sooo ONO! However, the Okinawan sweet potato mash that came with it was not complimentary and too sweet to pair with the delicious fish. Regular mashed potatoes or rice would've been better we think. What put the whole experience over the top, though, was our super attentive and friendly waitress Charlene. This place has great service and great ambiance. The whole restaurant has such a nice vibe to it. We marked on our reservation that it was our anniversary and they wrote us a cute card and gave us a free dessert which was amazing (hula pie). We got the seafood risotto and the guava bbq chicken both of which were good. Chicken was a huge portion, basically an entire half of the chicken and the bbq sauce and kimchi veggies were great. We saw people get the pork ribs and those looked great too so if we came back we'd definitely want to try those. read more

What a great experience for our anniversary celebration! Well started off with cocktails and coconut shrimp. Try the Lychee martini or the Mule. For dinner we had the Duo Fish dish and the Mac crushed and crusted fish with rice. For an anniversary dessert we had the Hula pie. Do not leave here without trying this absolute excellent dessert. Keoki's is a lovely restaurant. Theater is very inviting. The only problem is that we needed to walk up a few stairs and down more stairs to get to the table. Luckily, we had an inside table when it started raining. The server was very helpful while making g our choice for dinner. We split a Caesar salad.m to start. At most places in which we ate, the Caesar salad was big enough to share. This was a bit small. I had the seafood risotto. It was very good but it was more risotto than protein. My husband had the Chef's Fresh Fish Duo. The fish that night was Ono and Marlin. He did enjoy that. As a special treat for my birthday, the waitress brought me a large slice of Hula pie. We are at Keoki's for the second time and it was one of our top two dining experiences throughout our ten day stay on Kauai and Oahu! Mynhi was our server and did a fantastic job taking care of us. Above all, this is a tourist spot with halfway decent food at prices that would scare you off if you weren't on vacation; paired with amazing service and some of the nicest servers. But definitely something to consider if you're looking for some food in the area. Food is decent. The Prime rib is cooked proper. The sides were just OK. The lack of star was the price to portion ratio for most of the dinner. Fish duo, seven spice ahi and vegan ravioli were the main dishes. The first two were the ones lacking in portions compared to price. The last was lacking in flavor and suffered from very over cooked pasta. The food was 5 star. Everything we ate was literally amazing. The Calamari was cooked perfectly, seasoned just right and was so good. I had the Marlin which was Mac Nut Crusted with rice and a capers sauce. Omg - amazing. A perfect dish. Equal to or better than the best meal i've had on this trip. My wife had the 12oz prime rib, medium rare. Also done perfectly. I had a few bites, tasted just right, so good. Great execution. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? The service wasn't up to TS Restaurant standards. Our server didn't come to our table for quite awhile. Another server finally got us water and apologized. We ordered our appetizers, it seemed like a long time before they came, as it was with our drinks. About the time our food came, our server got a big table. She seemed overwhelmed and we barely saw her again. We had to get a manager to run our check to pay. Btw- we did not get mad or throw a fit. We came here for dinner, they had a live singer near the bar. Open air dining throughout the restaurant, which did make it a little bit chilly on a windy evening. The best part of the dinner was that the service was excellent . shout out to Ruby who was sweet and attentive. Otherwise we found the food largely mediocre. The kale salad was so depressingly small that at first I thought it was a split plate. Poke stack was pretty good, it came with an insufficient amount of chips (4), so thank you Ruby for bringing us more! The Maui Onion soup tasted like it came out of a can - just a flat salty flavor; my husband loves French onion soups, and this just wasn't flavorful at all . I did enjoy the Panko and nut crusted fish. Ruby had advised switching the fish that it generally comes with with their mahi-mahi, which was a good tip. We love Keoki's Paradise. The food here is always great, service is always welcoming, and the drinks are always strong. Plus it's just beautiful inside and j personally love the live music. We started with their Mai tai's which I think are the best Mai tai's on the island (I know, fighting words). We then started with their Maui onion soup which everyone in my family loves. I got the macadamia nut crusted dish of the day which was swordfish. It was great! Absolutely loved the sauce for the dish. And of course we finished with a hula pie. You have to have one! Amazing lobster tail! So delicate and tender. I also really enjoyed the ahi sashimi appetizer and the guava BBQ chicken entree. The ahi sashimi was probably the best sashimi I've had in year. Delicate flavor and silky texture. The sweet taro rolls with honey cinnamon butter were amazing, as was the taro coconut bread pudding for dessert. We also enjoyed the mango pono pie for dessert. We had the hula pie at Duke's on the same trip, and it was great, so I recommend that too! Great kids menu - several options for little ones. DEC2025 Reservations were easy for dinner, parking was great since it was part of a shopping center area. Service was helpful with any questions we had. Unfortunately there was no live music for the night due to coinciding reservations for the space. Water refills infrequent since it was quite busy. Everything took a long while to come out. We had gotten a mai tai and guava daquiri for drinks. For food, my partner and I ordered the mushroom ravioli, maui onion soup, the mahi mahi keoki style, hoisin pork ribs, and guava chicken. The drinks were overly sweet, likely too much triple sec or mixer. The mushroom ravioli was decent but a overcooked and needed salt. The french onion soup just felt like it was missing something. The soup itself just seemed like broth and wasn't rich in the slightest. The cheese also wasn't melted either and bread an after thought. The hoisin pork ribs were decent flavorwise but chewy. Overall, a lot of things were inconsistently cooked between the both the chicken and the fish. Chicken ended up dry for different parts. The kimchi had a moderate kick to it and too spicy for some. Overall, pricey for what it is and there wasn't even ambiance to be had that night. There's certainly much better options available. read more

My wife and I came for our wedding anniversary on the same day that Lala Hurricane battered the island. We had a 4:45 reservation but showed up 15 minutes early. They sat us at about 4:35, which was great. The reservation asked us what we were celebrating, if anything. We selected that we were celebrating our anniversary. Upon arrival, they immediately congratulated us on the anniversary. When we were sat at our table, there was a card at the table saying congratulations which was a nice touch. The ambience is very Hawaiian island style, not super upscale but very nice. Good place for a Hawaiian shirt, shorts, and flip-flops. Our server was very prompt, kind, and informative. He also took the time to congratulate us on the anniversary. For an appetizer, we had the Crispy Hoisin Honey Pork Ribs- SO GOOD. The perfect amount of sweet and spicy. Crispy yet tender. Great way to open up. I started with the Makai mule, it was a good island take on a mule. For dinner, my wife had the prime rib with a side of coconut shrimp. It was served with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts and was very good. For myself, I had the Fillet Steak Kiana, with a lobster tail. It was served with a side of mushroom risotto and brussels sprouts. All of it was good, but the lobster tail was great. The lobster tail was topped with a pesto sauce and it seemed like melted cheese. A surprisingly great combo. With the meal I enjoyed a couple of Mai Tai's, the local style. The Mai Tai was where it was at. Super good. For dessert, they brought us an original hula pie, on the house. It's freaking huge, and very good! It's the only thing I took a picture of. For a party of 4 or more you can expect to pay well over $200, with entrees costing around $50 a person give or take. That being said, the food was delicious. Our drinks were all very tasty too. My macadamia nut crusted fish was perfectly cooked and one of the best meals I've had so far. The owner was there that night and was very sweet. Our service was great as well. The ambiance is very fun--traditional Tiki Bar. We were happy and had a good time here. The only thing is the stiff price point l, which is the one draw back. Oh Keoki. You have my heart. Whenever we go visit Kauai, we make sure that we stop and eat here. This time we came for my daughter's bday celebration dinner. Our waitress was so kind, she was incredibly kind and warm. She didn't miss a beat and made sure she was there whenever we needed her. The food was delish, everything we had was top notch. I love the live music they have during the week, such great vibes, and sets the mood for any occasion. I wish I had gotten our server's name, but I remember she was from Florida. She was very lovely, attentive, and timely for all of our needs. I had the farmers omelet and my mom had the breakfast burrito. The eggs were perfectly fluffy in a way that I wish I could recreate. The potatoes were crispy and seasoned well. Our server recommended the hula pie and it did not disappoint. If I could have brought some home in my suitcase, I would have. The open seating area has phenomenal views and it's always great to have the chickens as table companions. I've also gotten takeout from here and had an easy experience. Won't be coming back here after years of dining here. Ran into arguably the worst waiters I've ever had. Carly completely ruined our experience. You come to Kauai on vacation and you eat at highly recommended places to get good service but not here. She was passive aggressive, raised her voice with shrugging shoulders and flying hands. Humiliated us in front of other customers all because we asked for a birthday cake which had previously been brought to our table many years in a row for many birthdays. The disrespect was out of control, she kept coming back and jabbing us with sarcastic comments and she wouldn't stop. Can't believe places like this get away with hiring these types of services. I've been to most of the restaurants in the Duke's chain and this has been the nicest one with the best ambiance. We started with their Mai Tai's, which were very good, strong but not overpowering. I had the Seafood Risotto, which was outstanding! Good balance of flavors and a decent amount of lobster, fish and shrimp. She had the baked fish, which was disappointing, to say the least. The fish was overcooked, dry with little flavor, and if you didn't care for the sauce, a very plain dish. We ended it with the Hula Pie, which is basically a tradition, and it was as good as always.
