Nice local brewhouse with good tacos. We needed a little bite after some inner tubbing so we stopped in. We had some local brew and shared some tacos. It all hit the spot. It's a great hang in Koloa. Will definitely be back.
As a brewery fan, I knew I had to finally visit this spot having met the brewer Ben and tried their beer at various festivals. Thanks to a friend while visiting Kauai recently, he brought us here and we had the best time. The place is in Old Koloa Village, with a cozy open vibe, lots of windows, plus plenty of outdoor seating if you're visiting on a sunny day. The interior has a utilitarian feel, with a big bar, ordering area, and the brewhouse visible behind. They have a nice merch section to the right. Restrooms are shared with the complex outside. Ben showed us a fantastic time. We tried every beer on tap, and talked about each one as we went. He also was a fan of their smash burgers, and had us one of each made to try and share during our visit. It was great going down this guided tasting with a guy that's clearly proud of his work and beer. They have a bunch of different styles on a tap at any time, with light ones to very dark, and all the flavors you could want in between. The anniversary imperial stout was my favorite on this visit. If you're a beer fan on Kauai, this is a must-visit and can be added to Kauai Island Brewing's new taproom nearby. Cheers to great local beer!
While definitely on the pricey side (especially as Californians) these were top notch tacos. Especially the grilled tacos. Service was great. I had the banana stout and was really surprised. I expected it to be sickly sweet but it wasn't! Had a lovely mostly banana with slight chocolate flavor that really worked with a stout. It's strong so a 5oz pour was perfect for me. Outside seating made it perfect. Highly recommend.
I'm not a beer drinker but my husband is and he enjoyed their selections. We got here for happy hour, but unfortunately the flights don't count for happy hour, only certain beers. They also have a limited food selection. We came here on a Friday night when they had a local band playing. The band was great and was a pleasant surprise since it wasn't something that we were planning on.

Visited MAB twice on our recent visit to Kauai. Fun place to hang out and have a few beers. Taplist was decent, with multiple style options. (lagers, IPAs, Pale, wee heavy). Since my go to beer style is hazy IPAs, I ordered the Pineapple Xpress Hazy IPA (6% abv). Although it tasted like a hazy, look-wise, I wouldn't have considered this to be a hazy. But regardless, it was the best beer I had on the island. They offer 2 options; a sample or a pint. I do think they should offer a half pour or schooner option. (A little more than a tiny sampler glass). But all things considered, it's a fun spot. Great vibe. Lots of outdoor seating. Great location! Lots of shops nearby to walk to after a beer or 2! Kōloa town is so cute!!
Very casual and accommodating to groups needing larger tables and needing to eat right away. - It's an order at the bar restaurant. - Solid Mexican food and beer. - If you love tortilla chips this is your place. Every dish seems to include a pile of chips.
Drinks, service and overall vibe was great! we really enjoyed stopping by! We had 2 beers and the chips and dip appetizer. All reasonably priced
This is a reliable spot for a good meal. Since food options can be fairly limited around Kōloa, this was a good find (and we came back twice while staying in the area). The beer is good, there's a good selection. As any brewery, I wouldn't recommend the cocktails (from my experience ordering a margarita one time - wasn't my fav). That said, the food is actually pretty good. The shrimp tacos are great, fish tacos delicious (not a ton of fish on them but that seems consistent to everywhere). The taco salad was probably the overall favorite we had here, it's fresh and really good. The smash burger is average, probably wouldn't have that again but it's not bad either. This is a cute area and overall vibe - the nice thing too is they're open a bit later. The service is decently quick and overall good! I'd come back the next time I'm on Kauai if I'm in Kōloa area!

Looking for a chill brewery to relax outside and grab some bites we found mucho aloha as a new spot to try. There was an extensive list of beer choices many with tropical inspiration. We dropped in on a Thursday which also had a margarita special for $13. We ordered fish tacos and the burger and grabbed a seat. The beer was solid but the margarita was one of the worst I have had in a while, an overly sour mix it didn't taste fresh at all. Our food came out pretty quickly. The fish tacos were very small and didn't have a lot of fish but had a tasty crema sauce. The burger was honestly really delicious with the sauce and spicy jalapeno topping, it was by far the highlight of the meal. Food cost in the area is generally high but $80 the portions felt exceptionally

Must try. Koloa town is a fun place to visit and has grown quite a bit just over the last few years. This brewhouse is located in a cool spot back from the road and has a lot of seating and a super chill vibe. You order at the bar and service is fast and friendly. The drinks and food are both great. The fish burrito was tasty and fresh. I have to spotlight the Mucholada. It is their version of a michelada and it's one of the best if not the best I've ever had. The michelada mix paired with the house blend of spices on the rim was 10/10. Add in the live music and it should be on your list when visiting the majestic south shore. There are 5 more places within a 2 minute walk you have to try, so make sure to visit Koloa town. There is plenty of parking so don't just pass through his town on your way down to poipu.
3.5 Relaxed vibe and friendly service, so rounding up. We ordered a couple of beers and tacos from the counter and they bring the food to your seat. Lots of nice outdoor seating. What we got: Beers: Torah Bun Strong Ale (3.75/5) and Pinneaple Xpress Hazy (3.75/5) both beers were solid. Shrimp Tacos: 3.5/5 - flavor was good but the shrimp are tiny. Would have loved some cotija cheese or something else in addition to the cabbage. Fish Tacos: 4/5 - my partner enjoyed the fish tacos. Chips: 1/5 - definitely lacking. They were dry and really needed salt. The salsa was fine but nothing super memorable. If I came back again, I would try the burgers which looked good or the nachos or loaded fries. If you're looking for a light meal, the tacos will fit the bill. read more
Mucho Aloha drew us in because of their cute logo and cool vibes. We just grabbed some shrimp tacos and a glass of local cider but this place made a great impression on us. The service was friendly and fast. The restaurant is really clean. And the indoor/outdoor setting is perfect for the area. I'd absolute go back! read more

Nestled in Old Koloa town, we decided to take a stop by Mucho Aloha brewhouse since it had more than your typical "bar fare" to eat. Where can you get seafood at a brewhouse? We stopped in and the service staff was very kind, getting us a highchair for the little one, and letting us keep our stroller inside and nearby. I definitely appreciated that there was indoor seating since it was pretty warm outside. We ended up getting the Happy Hour furikake tots, which were nice and crispy (our toddler enjoyed these!) and to drink I got the Pineapple Xpress. The beer was great - not too bitter, and a hint of pineapple, which was pretty unique. To eat I ended up getting a smashburger, and it seems I was so hungry that I didn't get a picture! The brioche bun was great, and I thought it was a good burger (albeit a little small for the price). Overall a great spot to have food and brew - if I wasn't so full of potatoes, I would have definitely tried another beer! read more

Omg!!! Best brew house I've been to on the island. They had a really good stout. I loved to outdoor seating area. We had a pup for a day from humane society and he loved it too!! He loved it too. The place was hopping and service was still spot on!! read more

Didn't know they had a food/brewery spot, so to find that out I was pretty excited. I'm a fan of the apparel company so was happy to try this out. Overall tacos and nachos were good. Prices are pretty steep, and the barbacoa was very salty. Everything was pretty fresh in terms of quality. Service is decently friendly for a brewery. The vibe is cool and great spot for their location. The cocktails were good and the beers as well. Definitely would come back for the drinks, vibes and probably share food not get my own tacos or burrito. read more

A PLUS EXPERIENCE HERE! This was one of my favorite meals in Hawaii. The staff is AMAZING! I even wrote an email to the owner as the staff was so kind to us as tourists even though we had multiple drinks and made modifications to our food. She was amazing! The cocktails and margaritas were top notch - a little pricey, but everything in Hawaii was - so it was as expected. The FOOD WAS SO GOOD! We loved every item we got and basically licked our plates. We had a few different items and would have eaten here every day if we could have... highly recommend this spot. I saw a man wearing a t shirt from here a few weeks after our visit and got excited because we loved it so much - and he said the same. Do not skip! read more

We loved this stop on our vacation. The ambiance was super casual and refreshing. We chose a flight and between the 3 of us we tasted the chili beer, rice lager, hazy, regular lager, and das biers. All of it was good but, to my surprise, I liked the chili beer the best. I'm not a fan of spicy food or drinks, but it was very refreshing. Not too spicy or over powering and the perfect drink on a sunny mild afternoon. We split the nachos with chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It seemed to melt in your mouth. It was so tender and the flavors were perfectly complimentary to each other. The serving size was a great portion to split between the 3 of us. We couldn't finish it because there was so much. It was so good we definitely over indulged. Stop here. Grab a beer flight. Order the nachos. Do a little people watching and embrace the aloha. read more

Wanted to try all the beers on tap. Ordered at the bar and sat outside. Great service with a ton of seating at the venue. The food looks awesome. Will be back to try it! read more

Decent drink menu - Great staff - Cool vibe Loved the atmosphere and vibe the most. In the small little downtown of Kōloa with the back patio being the best place to sit. Only brewery I've found on the island so far with a sour beer! It's a mango sour but oooof is it tart. Other cocktails sound yummy! Neat little spot to try if beer is on the agenda. read more
