    Band playing

I'm not a beer drinker but my husband is and he enjoyed their selections. We got here for happy hour, but unfortunately the flights don't count for happy hour, only certain beers. They also have a limited food selection. We came here on a Friday night when they had a local band playing. The band was great and was a pleasant surprise since it wasn't something that we were planning on.

This is a reliable spot for a good meal. Since food options can be fairly limited around Kōloa, this was a good find (and we came back twice while staying in the area). The beer is good, there's a good selection. As any brewery, I wouldn't recommend the cocktails (from my experience ordering a margarita one time - wasn't my fav). That said, the food is actually pretty good. The shrimp tacos are great, fish tacos delicious (not a ton of fish on them but that seems consistent to everywhere). The taco salad was probably the overall favorite we had here, it's fresh and really good. The smash burger is average, probably wouldn't have that again but it's not bad either. This is a cute area and overall vibe - the nice thing too is they're open a bit later. The service is decently quick and overall good! I'd come back the next time I'm on Kauai if I'm in Kōloa area!

Enjoying a patio beer, Pineapple XPress "Hazy"

Visited MAB twice on our recent visit to Kauai. Fun place to hang out and have a few beers. Taplist was decent, with multiple style options. (lagers, IPAs, Pale, wee heavy). Since my go to beer style is hazy IPAs, I ordered the Pineapple Xpress Hazy IPA (6% abv). Although it tasted like a hazy, look-wise, I wouldn't have considered this to be a hazy. But regardless, it was the best beer I had on the island. They offer 2 options; a sample or a pint. I do think they should offer a half pour or schooner option. (A little more than a tiny sampler glass). But all things considered, it's a fun spot. Great vibe. Lots of outdoor seating. Great location! Lots of shops nearby to walk to after a beer or 2! Kōloa town is so cute!!

Looking for a chill brewery to relax outside and grab some bites we found mucho aloha as a new spot to try. There was an extensive list of beer choices many with tropical inspiration. We dropped in on a Thursday which also had a margarita special for $13. We ordered fish tacos and the burger and grabbed a seat. The beer was solid but the margarita was one of the worst I have had in a while, an overly sour mix it didn't taste fresh at all. Our food came out pretty quickly. The fish tacos were very small and didn't have a lot of fish but had a tasty crema sauce. The burger was honestly really delicious with the sauce and spicy jalapeno topping, it was by far the highlight of the meal. Food cost in the area is generally high but $80 the portions felt exceptionally

Very casual and accommodating to groups needing larger tables and needing to eat right away. - It's an order at the bar restaurant. - Solid Mexican food and beer. - If you love tortilla chips this is your place. Every dish seems to include a pile of chips.

Drinks, service and overall vibe was great! we really enjoyed stopping by! We had 2 beers and the chips and dip appetizer. All reasonably priced

Must try. Koloa town is a fun place to visit and has grown quite a bit just over the last few years. This brewhouse is located in a cool spot back from the road and has a lot of seating and a super chill vibe. You order at the bar and service is fast and friendly. The drinks and food are both great. The fish burrito was tasty and fresh. I have to spotlight the Mucholada. It is their version of a michelada and it's one of the best if not the best I've ever had. The michelada mix paired with the house blend of spices on the rim was 10/10. Add in the live music and it should be on your list when visiting the majestic south shore. There are 5 more places within a 2 minute walk you have to try, so make sure to visit Koloa town. There is plenty of parking so don't just pass through his town on your way down to poipu.

Great beer, fun atmosphere with lots of casual seating, and food options if you're hungry! Try the "pickle mango" sour it is fun!

Omg!!! Best brew house I've been to on the island. They had a really good stout. I loved to outdoor seating area. We had a pup for a day from humane society and he loved it too!! He loved it too. The place was hopping and service was still spot on!!

Loved this stop after shopping in the stores near by. Cute setting, good beers on tap. Our group had smash burgers and fish tacos. Fish tacos were very, very good both Baja & grilled. Smash burger was ok. Service was good, girl behind counter was new so was not familiar with beers.

Ambiance...perfect! Staff...amazing...food...out quick and delicious! Tiny porch chickens...adorable! Great music and the breeze. Definitely recommend! Too hungry to photograph the food but trust me! Yum!

Great atmosphere and service is quite snappy! Ordered the Baja fish tacos and the grilled burro.

Didn't know they had a food/brewery spot, so to find that out I was pretty excited. I'm a fan of the apparel company so was happy to try this out. Overall tacos and nachos were good. Prices are pretty steep, and the barbacoa was very salty. Everything was pretty fresh in terms of quality. Service is decently friendly for a brewery. The vibe is cool and great spot for their location. The cocktails were good and the beers as well. Definitely would come back for the drinks, vibes and probably share food not get my own tacos or burrito.

I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $87.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Maybe we caught them at a bad time, but the food and beer were mediocre at best. I enjoy trying local beers as close to the source as possible, so going to local brewpubs is something my wife and I try to do regularly. It was our third day in Kauai, so made this our lunch choice, and we were hungry after a long tour. There was plenty of parking in the dedicated lot, and it wasn't too busy when we stopped in after 1:30 on a Wednesday. We were greeted promptly and got to choose where we sat, in a picnic table with plenty of space. Chose two house draft beers: Honopu Hefeweizen ($9) which was not good...very weak and watery. But the Hanakoa Cream ale was worse ($9)...chose it because of a local cream ale from Wisconsin that I love. But it tasted more like a glass of lite pilsner, more like a Miller Lite than a cream ale. I had to finish both...should have just ordered one. The food came out a bit later. We wanted to share the local Style Smoke meat plate (sounded promising), which was a plate of pork shoulder ($16). Plenty of it, but it felt like leftover meat, reheated in a sugary sauce...looked and tasted like Tocino (which isn't my favorite), not like pulled pork/kalua pork. It came with a scoop of white rice. I got the spicy Poke ($19) which used good quality raw ahi tuna. It had lots of tasty, spicy mayo and was enjoyable. But the rice was not cooked well (it was mushy), and I had to ask myself: why has the rice been so mediocre for our first two days? (It got better as the trip went on). My wife got the Huli Huli Veg & Rice plate ($25)...not good. Just two pieces of chicken breast meat (coming from frozen) with a very light sauce (flavorless) and the carrots were big chunks, candied, which is not what we expected. Brought most of this back to our hotel (since we had a fridge), but neither one of us touched it for the rest of the trip. Pricing is inconsistent (the chicken plate should have been the cheapest item considering the ingredients and prep work). Payment was done through Toast, and there was a 3% service charge for using credit card.

My wife and I specifically came to the area to sample their beers and try their food, and found the beer to good/great while the food was OK. It opens at 11 on weekdays, and we arrived soon after, so found street parking easily. We were some of the first customers, and our choice of inside seating. The building is two stories, with the upstairs being used as an arcade (classic 80's pinball machines). The large bar is the center of the downstairs, and they sell shop memorabilia as well. Tried a 4 sampler flight (no discount for flight, just sum of the 5 oz beers chosen). Their most popular is the Lilikoi, which we had just tried at a restaurant a couple days before, so we skipped that. Instead we got: Chupa lager (Mexican cerveza which was refreshing), Wheat (which was my least favorite...kinda flat/limp with little flavor), Alaka'I Stout (my favorite, creamy and almost chocolatey), and a Sour with calamansi (which my wife liked the best, I thought it tasted like a shandy). As for food, we got two entrees. My wife got the Kalua Pork Sandwich ($22): pretty much all pulled pork sandwiches are called Kalua in Hawaii, no matter how it is made. That being said, this version was OK with the fries being very good (similar to Five Guys fries, fried in peanut oil maybe). I had my favorite: Loco Moco ($22) which was well prepared, and the white rice was good. But the beef patty was mediocre (tasted like a standard preformed food service patty from frozen...it wouldn't have stood out in a burger). The one egg was cooked well and I really liked the homemade gravy. There is a 3% credit card surcharge, and Toast is the payment processor.
