I did business with Alexanders Auto Repair, and I'm glad that I did. The work performed was flawless! Interacting with Alex and his guys was like a TV commercial.. Everybody was so nice and professional, always working, and always on top of things. Every time I went into the office to talk to anyone Alex himself was standing there doing business- constantly going from the office to the shop to talk with his guys and check on things. So glad we did business. They don't make them like Alexander anymore! read more

Wow. best in phoenix. I shopped around. I needed a new battery and oil change. Fair prices and prompt service. Will continue to get work done here!!!! Thank you guys so much read more

I have taken my vehicle to them twice and I'm so glad that I did! I would recommend to anyone and will happily to send my friends and family there! The first time I was able to just drop my vehicle off at my convenience and they looked at it and fixed it in a very short timeframe. They even added in free extra (unnecessary) services like replacing my windshield wipers and an oil change when my engine overheating was the reason I brought it in. I was extremely happy with my service! The second time my car was not drivable from my work which is about 30 minutes away from the shop and Alexander got it towed for me and knowing my other option of a AAA tow would be very pricey. I brought it in right during a holiday week, they were able to look at it and diagnose the problem quickly. Oscar was thorough and gave me a full description of the issue. They took care of the price of the tow and the diagnosis work even after recommending I take it to the dealership instead so they would be able to return the parts. They did all of this out of generosity. Alexander and Oscar were so incredibly helpful. I would not consider going anywhere else! Their excellent customer service is unmatched. read more

My car was in a small accident and everything was dealt with insurance, decided to take it up to Alexander's Auto Repair and I received great service! My car was repaired looking and working like new again. Working with insurance took a little longer but again that was completely up to the insurance. I 100% recommend this shop for great service, friendly employees, good communication and overall great realizability. read more

Shortly after my post on Saturday, I received a call from the owner. He was quick to address the matter and itemized a solution, despite being his day off. First thing Monday morning, and as promised, I received a call to coordinate having a tow truck pick up my truck. It appears my local Ford dealer fibbed about some of the items that needed attention paid to; shame on Camelback. The above said, I extend a heartfelt thank you to the owner and his team for stepping up to correct something that was probably very easy for them but huge for me. This truly demonstrates how much they care about their business and customers. Thank you so much! read more

Oscar was extremely helpful when it came to knowing if I needed an alignment. He was honest and fair. If I ever need any repair issues, I am definitely coming back to Alexander's. Thank you Oscar and Alexander's staff for all your help. read more

What a great experience. I had taken my car to three different dealership locations to sort out what was going on with my car, and each time I was told it's just normal for my type of car and the age of it (only 8 years old!). I took it in to Alexander's and Oscar and team were able to actually spend the time to figure out the problem and help me get it fixed. Oscar was very helpful, and even though the parts and repairs were not cheap, he explained to me why everything would cost what it did and I felt very comfortable that he was being honest with me. Once they fixed the problem, everything has been running so well, and Oscar even followed up with me about a month later to make sure everything was working well still. Will definitely be coming back here in the future instead of going to dealership again. read more

Great great service! We moved and really needed to find a mechanic close by (we love our old one downtown but after 2 years "long distance" it was time to find something closer). We decided to give this spot a try and we're not disappointed. They are honest, gave us more than fair pricing for the work that needed to be done and even cleaned our cars before returning them. read more

Alexander is one of the most honest & reliable repair shops around nowadays. I brought my car thinking I had a bad alternator. Instead, it ended up just being a battery issue, which ended up being a whole lot cheaper. While I was there, I had them work on a few other things and I felt like the price was reasonable. When I took the car back, I noticed some squeaking. They identified the issue and took care of the issue right away with no problem. I highly recommend these guys. They have me as a repeat and happy customer! read more

Alexander's provides the best, most efficient and most reliable car repair on in the city. We have an old "heirloom" vehicle that needed repair and Alexander and Oscar realized our love of the car and made sure the repairs were done efficiently and safely. We Highly recommend Alexander's for all car needs. Friendly to walk into and the follow up was superb! Five stars for sure! Mona O read more

Highly recommend these guys. Took my car in that i bought as a flip and them diagnose my check engine light. Oscar called me back within an hour to tell me exactly what was wrong with it, what my options were, and what he would do if it was his car. He was very honest and didn't try to rip me off. I will take all my personal vehicles to this shop because of their honesty and great customer service. read more

Great place! I had an issue with my bumper and they were really efficient, thorough, easy to work with and honest. When I came in they tried to fix it on the spot which was really nice. They recommended removing the bumper to readjust (I had gone somewhere else and received the same recommendation), which I agreed to. When I came back later my bumper looked as good as new and they even washed my car which was extremely helpful as I had been procrastinating that for awhile. The price was extremely fair and I'm very satisfied with the experience and overall outcome. Would highly recommend to anyone in the Phoenix area read more

The best mechanic experience I have EVER had. (And I'm not being biased because we share the same name haha) Alexander and his team go out of their way to make sure you're happy and you understand what needs fixed and why. Not only did he give me an amazing price compared to competitors, but he also gave me free services and I've seen him do the same for others. He's just a really great, honest guy and that's exactly what I look for in a mechanic. Also some of the other car shops in the area couldn't fit my high top Ford transit van, and Alexander's could :) If you're in phx /Scottsdale area in need of car repairs, look no further! read more

I hate trying to find a new mechanic and when you find one you trust it's golden. So nice there is no nonsense they did what they were suppose to and it cost what it was suppose to ( I compared prices to other places as well). read more

In the 3 months since we've moved to Phoenix, our van has needed multiple repairs. Every single time we visited Alexander's Auto Repair, we were treated with the best service possible. Repairs were efficient, transportation was provided to and from the shop when necessary and they have the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at an auto shop. One of our repairs was so costly, Alexander went out of his way to find us the part at a cheaper price, saving us literally over $1,000. When you go to Alexander's you are treated well and can have the confidence that your vehicle is in good hands. read more

I cant say enough about these guys....they are not only trustworthy as all these reviews indicate, they are amazingly honest and want to make you happy at any cost. We had an issue with my daughters beetle that another shop had created. Without going into all the details, they not only get it going again but also took it back and diagnosed another issue the had to be fixed by the VW guru. They not only took it to the VW shop but also paid for the repair since it was not caught on first review...and no charge for all the work done be Alexander's shop. You just don't find this kind of service any longer...and they know what they are doing. read more

Great service! I took my car in when the brake light went on. Alexander is customer focused and runs an active business. My car was checked and minor work was done to fix the issue, it was done quickly and was very reasonable. The was no upselling and it was very professional. I just moved here a month ago and I will definitely take my car to this business for all future auto repairs! Glad I found it and happy to add to the veey favorable reviews for this business. read more

In the days of trusting any customer service industry with knowledgeable staff and dedicated service, Oscars group goes above and beyond. While it may take some time for basic service because of the heavy workload they endure, complicated diagnostics and effective communication are well worth the wait. I have had both my Mini and domestic vehicles serviced here and you know anybody who drives an import can tell you it's both complicated and expensive. Never have I felt over charged or taken advantage of with Oscar. Will continue to do business with him and his staff. read more

BEST MECHANIC IN PHOENIX!!!! This is the most honest and trust worthy mechanic I've come across. Thank you Alexander and Oscar!!!

They really know their stuff, and they are super honest. A real rarity in the auto repair business!

The reviews you are reading are on the money!! This is by far the best auto repair shop we have dealt with in the east valley. The owner is by far the nicest and most important HONEST person I have met in a repair shop. I am a retired senior mechanic who no longer can work on vehicles. I did not tell anyone there I was a mechanic when I brought my vehicle in. This is the go to place for excellence. Job done right, great price with truth being told on what you actually need repaired. Thanks to Alexander and his crew.. read more

I don't typically write reviews and mostly rely on others' but given my experience at Alexanders today, and thanks to the rest of these reviews, I had to chime in with the chorus! I just arrived in Phoenix and needed to have a used car be inspected before purchasing it. The team here was outstandingly kind, straightforward, honest and helpful - I really felt like I had an ally in my first out-of-state used car purchase. They conduct their business with sincerity and integrity and absolutely deserve the accolades you read here. Truly a gem of a place. read more

These guys are great. Very communicative, honest and professional. Brought a couple of cars in to be inspected before purchase and am glad I came here! read more

As a first time customer I would recommend Alexanders. Oscar made the repair experience easy and efficient. My 81 yo Mom needed her 2006 Chrysler PT cruiser check engine light fixed and she dropped off the car and they gave her a ride home and later on after the repair they delivered the car to her house. Since I live out of state this was a great help to us both. Excellent service! Yes, you should try Alexander's. read more

I was having some issues with my temperature gauge increasing in temperature when my a/c was running, and also had some steering vibrations at low and high speeds. The team at Alexanders were so accommodating, got my car in right away, test drove it as soon as I arrived too. Turns out, my car didn't need much fixed, besides a couple tires causing the steering issue and some coolant in my radiator. The team took my car over to Discount Tire, arranged for it to be fixed, added coolant to my radiator, even gave me a ride back to my office! And guess what? Alexanders didn't charge me a thing! A handshake and have a good day, seriously... made my week. I'm still in awe at the amazing service, wonderful people and fabulous experience I had today. I'll definitely be coming back to Alexanders and refer anyone I know!! Please give them a shot, help support a local Arcadia business owner and great company. read more

OMG like finding a new hairstylist, trusting a new mechanic is hard but these guys are amazing. They helped me with a burnt out low beam and ordered and installed the bulb as I waited. The waiting area is comfortable and the bathroom was CLEAN. I will definitely go back there for all my maintenance and repairs. They were knowledgeable about my vehicle service updates etc. read more

We have been going to Alexanders Auto Repair for many years. I have great confidence in the quality of the work and of Alexander himself. He is always personable and friendly, and inspires confidence. He will always go the extra mile to make sure that everything is addressed and to explain any problems. He does what he says he will do, and the work is top quality. I feel confident when I take my car in that I will receive excellent treatment and service. read more

I needed to get an oil change, and these guys offered the best price. Super friendly and efficient.

I just inherited a car from a friend and unfortunately with poor up keeping on his part after a few weeks I started experiencing a lot of problems. After looking through reviews on Yelp we came across this auto shop. We took my car in and Alexander gave us a quote within a day. He took such great care of us and helped a college student out a lot by giving us great deals. He's such a personable guy and worked with us to figure out a plan that worked within my time and budget. I'll definitely be back when I have any other problems with my car and will be recommending him to any of my friends that have car troubles. read more

Very professional, honest shop. I had a specific issue. They said it is best to send to dealership because it is complex work.

I've been coming here for three years now and I'm still thankful I found Alexander's. Even though I now live in Mesa, I will continue to bring my truck here for repairs because I know they're going to do a great job for a great price. Definitely come here if you need your vehicle repaired right. read more

i took car to Alexanders Auto to get my ac fixed and paid $1700 cash (note the car is worth 2k) The ac works for 2 days and not they want me to pay another $1200 to fix the ac, says they only changed the ac fluid, which obviously i could have done myself for less than $50. im outraged. i feel ripped off and lied to. i can't believe i fell for this. ): read more

As a first time customer of Alexander's I was impressed with their professionalism. I recently purchased a used car and after a prior negative experience with a used vehicle I wanted to make sure there were no mechanical issues.
