Professional mechanics explain what's going on and service is quick to happen. I take two Mercedes here, they have extensive knowledge on the cars and always get it turned around quick. Look no further than Saguaro for all your auto repair needs - large or small. I've been taking my cars to Gary and his team for a few years now, and can't find anything but positive things to say about them. Even with months passing without visiting the shop, whenever I walk in the door Gary always greets me by my first name, which shows his affinity for really getting to know (and remembering) his customers. I've taken my car in for numerous issues, ranging from annual maintenance to minor collision repair. For each service, Saguaro had beaten the prices of every single other local and national repair shop in the Valley - by a lot too! The other thing I love about this repair shop is that you don't get yanked around and nickel and dimed for every little thing. Just this week, I took my car in for annual maintenance and to replace a few of the engine blocks that were causing my car to vibrate. I asked Gary, since he already had my car, if he could do a once-over on everything to make sure there weren't any other issues. Now, must shops would take this as an opportunity to go to town on someone and upcharge them for every little thing they could get away with ("oh, we definitely see that your random obscure gasket needs to be fixed, that'll be $800"). This shop isn't remotely like that, and in my case today, he simply told me everything looked fantastic and that was that. He even checked my battery and gave me a rough estimate of how much life it had left. Again, going out of their way for their customers and being their trusted neighborhood mechanic is this place's MO. Dont go there. Had no clue of what was wrong with my vehicle, so their idea was to replace all suspension parts and hoped it solved the problem with a bill to me of almost $4000.00 I took my car out of there. I got a second opion turned out to be a simple case of bad tie rod ends. $367.00 for parts and labor and the car is fine. It seems like they will just throw out an outrageous price to see if you'll be foolish enough to take it. When I said no, they charged me for looking at the car and the diagnostiuc. Which was more than the cost of the repair!! Never again. read more

My husband and I were headed out of town to LA (from PHX) when our coolant level low warning light came on. We happened upon NAPA Saguaro Alignment and Brakes, and they had just opened for the morning. They immediately looked at our 2012 RR HSE car, told us it could take a few hours (ended up taking a full day), and we made the best of it. They put our car in queue before all the other cars in their shop, and Gary even drove over to Range Rover up in Scottsdale to get the gasket we needed. They could not have been nicer! I was nervous about the final bill, but it was actually very reasonable for having to work on it so long (5 houses labor). We drove on to LA and the car ran fine. I had a problem that I needed diagnosed on my truck. A competitor repair shop was going to charge me $350 for a diagnosis. And then if it turned out to be a catalytic converter it was going to be a $1500 repair bill. My gut feeling which turned out to be right was these guys were really trying to take me to the cleaners. I happened to end up at saguaro and Gary said that he was going to charge me $110 for the same diagnosis. So I left my truck there and later he called me to say that he found the problem. It was a catalytic converter. I arrived at a shop to pay the bill and Gary refused to be paid. He referred me to another shop that replaced the catalytic converter for $300. Gary could have taken me to the cleaners but he chose to do the right thing, this is going to be my repair shop! read more

Great service, honest and very helpful in helping to fix some major issues on the Wayngler. Expected the worse, and was right, but Gary came to the rescue and didn't take much time, either! Don't trust these guys. I had my mother-in-law drop off my car while out of town. They must have seen dollar signs with an older lady who obviously doesn't know about cars. Gave us a ridiculous quote on a simple solution. Then tried charging us 175$ just to diagnose the issue. Ended up paying $100 after a debate. Should''t have had to pay a dime. Issue was a fuse. Pretty sad. Any mechanic with some integrity could do well in this city, too many con artists out here. read more

This place changed the way I looked at my car. I swear to God. I am totally useless in the context of auto repair. I know how to change a tire, but that's about where it ends. Because of that, I know I get taken. Often. Until these guys, I would even say always. Mike, who runs Saguaro, is totally honest in his dealings and knows that if he cuts fair deals with his customers they will come back. And we do. Before I ever take anything to the dealership I call them up here and explain my problem. If they can conceivably handle it I take it to them and get it done for literally a small fraction of what the dealership charges for the same task. Do yourself a favor and try them out. read more

Probably spent several grand over last few yrs & more several yrs before but after a a neighbor was referred to this shop for a major repair & the work was never done & disputed by the shop, I will not return nor refer anyone. Btw, another shop confirmed that the repair wasn't done & the amt was reversed by cc. Don't know if older owner is going senile, needs more surgeries or both but has lost a good customer. I went to Gary and his Team and they did nothing but treat me right. I had problems with my transfer case and they got it done in a very timely manner. Gary kept me informed every step of the way. then come to find out I have a 3 year unlimited mile warranty on it. To me this was unheard of but I know I can trust these guys to do the job and do it right. Then after this was fixed I realized that there was a oil leak somewhere. Gary took a look at it and it was my valve covers. He replaced those and did the job right as there are some bolts that have grommets on them and he went to the dealer and got the correct ones instead of trying to do a quick fix. Gary and his Team are GREAT I would recommend them to anyone as the do the job right and give you a very fair price. I would take any of my vehicles to Saguaro before I take them to the dealership. I was told by my conveinent shop for oil changes, Moon Valley Motor Care, that my car with 40,000 miles on it needed struts. I didn't like the $660 estimate so I stopped and spoke to Gary at Saguaro. He gave me an estimate of $442. I dropped off my car on my way to work and when I called to see if it was ready for pickup I was informed the my car did not need struts. These guys are hones, conscientious and do excellent work. They are the BEST. read more
