Even a little after 10am on a Saturday, you can tell this place is a very popular hangout. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but the line moves fast. I concur with other reviewers that the staff is so friendly, helpful and energetic. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait with a shot of caramel syrup. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it! I sat outside on a sidewalk bistro table and enjoyed both items immensely on a gorgeous Chattanooga morning. This place also has inside seating as well as a nice patio setup. So happy I got to experience this place! (P.S. The line is still out the door when I left!) :)

As a sweet surprise, they brought me complimentary birthday beignets with strawberry sauce. They were light, fluffy, and the strawberry sauce was the perfect finishing touch. Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat.
