It's got a lovely seating area with a number of small couches one which to chillax! The offerings include cookie dough slices- including vegan options. Gluten is best and it's nice for our gluten intolerant friends. The offerings range from sugar cookie to basically a candy garbage can. The 4 we sampled were lovely! They also have caffeine options, pops, and a number of freeze dried candies - didn't know I loved freeze dried air heads until today! Ehh, it's ok. I mean it does taste like cookie dough and is good. So that's worth a 3 at least. I'd say it's bland and service matched that/. No atmosphere at all. The shop looked so cute from the outside, but unfortunately, the atmosphere inside was a letdown. It had an odd smell--like a mix of bathroom covered up by strong cleaning products--which was off-putting. The way the dough was displayed didn't look very appealing either. Had there been other people inside, I probably would've walked out, but I felt awkward being the only one there. I purchased two cookie dough "bricks" at $4.99 each, and while the flavor was actually good, they were noticeably different in size and weight despite being the same price. One was much larger and thicker than the other, which felt inconsistent for a premium-priced product. For a place that charges a higher price point, I expected a more thoughtfully designed shop and presentation. Honestly, the dough would've been so much more appealing scooped into a cup with a spoon instead of wrapped in plastic. No samples, so it was a little hard for my son & I to decide what we wanted since it was our first visit. I asked a very specific question about the strawberry ice cream & was told one thing...but the ice cream was nothing like I asked/was told. The worker mixes the milkshakes out of sight (behind a curtain) which could be a little concerning. And customers are not allowed to use the restroom--even just to wash hands. read more

It was $4.99 a slice which seemed a lil much that you can buy a whole thing or ready to bake cookie dough at the store for the same cost and it wouldn't be salty. Fabulous. As a resident Chattanoogan with a big sweet tooth I have tried almost every desert place in Chatt and can say that the new Downtown Dough is up there with the best of them. The woman serving us (owner possibly?) was very kind and helpful. She told us about how the cookie dough is made and what makes it different from other competitions like the cookie dough store on northshore. The desserts itself were delicious. They tasted like actual cookie dough, not just some amalgamation that's scooped into an ice cream cup. The dough was COLD, authentic, and tasted like something straight from my mom's kitchen. I really hope this business takes off and has a successful run here in Chatt. It felt like I was at an old time fudge shop at the boardwalk but with the previously forbidden raw cookie dough as the main attraction. If unbaked cookie dough is your thing, this new cafe is worth a stop. Ambiance is super light and airy and very clean. We met the woman owner and she was so welcoming and warm. All the cookie dough is made in-house with obviously no raw eggs and they also offer Keto and Vegan versions! In addition to 6-10 flavors (menu changes daily and depends on season), they have "fruit pizzas" and sugar cake pops and everything is displayed in a refrigerated case. Only a few pieces of each were put out at the time of our visit, but I assume it's to keep the dough fresh so that they're not sitting out too long. I personally can't eat too much cookie dough before getting tired of it, so I was hoping there'd be a couple of baked cookies also available for sale. Unfortunately not, but I get that that would involve a lot more work because the ingredients would be different and involve eggs, baking soda, etc. There is also basic iced or hot coffee available, but it's just a keurig FYI for all you coffee snobs. read more
