I've recently been coming in for breakfast and have also tried several lunch entrées, and every single meal has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service is just as amazing as the food. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It's hard to find places that are this consistent with both quality and hospitality, but The Sweet Spot absolutely delivers. They gave us a pup cup for my boyfriend's dog while he waited outside with him and they were so helpful and patient with me and his mom. We were indecisive and might have been hard to communicate with because we struggled through our decision making process in Spanglish. She was trying in both languages to explain to me what she wanted but my help wasn't needed at all because the people at Scoop got the gist of what flavor she was craving (rum and raisin) and did their best to come up with something adjacent.
