10/10 experience every time I come to The Sweet Spot. Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee on the go or sitting down for a full meal, this place never disappoints. I've recently been coming in for breakfast and have also tried several lunch entrées, and every single meal has been fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The service is just as amazing as the food. The staff is always welcoming, friendly, and makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. You can tell they truly care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It's hard to find places that are this consistent with both quality and hospitality, but The Sweet Spot absolutely delivers. I have been here 4 times since Jan. 9th. My stars are for this HEAVENLY FRENCH TOAST!! They have very very good french toast. I'm a foodie snob, and a EVEN BIGGER breakfast snob. I can make a very good breakfast at my house... so if I'm gonna pay more for someone else to make it... it has to be good. This french toast is AMAZING! The challah bread makes is so light and fluffy, strawberries and blueberries are freshly perfect and then the cream cheese drizzle just completes the presentation. It is a beautiful work of cutlinary art and it matches that energy in flavor. I have tried many things on their menu... but the standout item for me so far is this french toast. I've had these other items since jan 9. The Sweet breakfast (sweet and savory plate that features I peice of French toast), the French toast plate (2 large peices of this delicacy is none negotiable once your hooked), fried potatoes/homefries, Salmon Avacado toast, the Georgia club with a BlackBerry jam (quite lovely!), meatloaf plate, BLT, and several drinks... I got as chia latte last time. The menu had a java chia... but I just wanted chi. When I'm not going home to sleep for night shift I will test the java chia. A lot of people do not realize they have moved to a new location and are now open for breakfast. I really want them to get popular and stick around for me to continue eating this spactacular french toast. So... if you ain't been to The Sweet Spot for breakfast, you NEED to!! Amazing local café. Everything from breakfast and lunch to yogurt and coffee. Friendly staff. We had a southern breakfast with bacon and hash brown casserole as well as a sweet breakfast with French toast and fried potatoes. Clean and well kept. Full of locals enjoying Saturday brunch. read more

Don't let the name fool you--The Sweet Spot is so much more than its yogurt shop roots. While they never changed the name, this place has fully transformed into a true full-service restaurant, and it absolutely delivers. I stopped in for lunch and was seriously impressed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Everything tasted homemade, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully prepared--exactly what you hope for in a great local spot. They also offer brunch on the weekends, which is a huge plus and definitely something I'll be coming back to try. I'll admit, it took some willpower to skip dessert and coffee (especially here), but I gave up sweets for Lent--otherwise I would've been all in. I almost didn't stop but my sister said they have soup. OMG This is the best breakfast brunch lunch dinner dessert ice cream spot you can find. I say it's the best kept secret even though they don't won't it to be a secret. Saturday breakfast all day open to close. If you work during the week, I suggest you try it on Saturday because you can sleep in and still eat breakfast. read more

Great food. Had a GA club. Others had chicken tenders and another had the chicken salad. All were great. Servers were new but the kitchen was spot on. Just off of the Old Downtown Dalton district is a great place with in house made ice creams, yogurt bar and fresh, custom-made doughnuts! You have to go here! I have been bringing my grandbabies to the sweet spot for years. It's always been a fun and exciting time for them. They loved all of the toppings that they have to choose from. especially the juice balls . Unfortunately, we came today and out of 16 toppings, only eight of them were available. When I asked the lady where the juice balls was, she said "we took them out and put them back here For us to use". My granddaughter got three scoops and a few sprinkles on top. As we were checking out she kept asking my granddaughter. "Are you gonna eat all this" (again she kept asking her after my granddaughter already answered her). A tone that I did not like. She was rude before and after This incident. I called later to ask her name . Come to find out she is one of the owners. She has no business in customer Service. Wonderful stop right downtown after dinner. You can choose from yogurt bar with over 10 selections and then top off with every kind of topping you can think of. If your feeling wild try one of the new craze ice cream rolls. They have 30+ creations but you can always make your own creations.
