My sister and I prefer their coffee to just about any we've tried in the surrounding area. Their lattes are the best. Also, the southwest bowl is my fave. It's soooo flavorful already, but they also give you a dressing on the side that adds even more flavor to the bowl! I also like their chili bowl. It doesn't look that exciting, but boy does it deliver on flavor. Their chocolate peanut butter dessert was really good but then they switched from non-dairy milk to dairy. You're gonna think its small when you see it, and it is. But the burger and the almond bun are dense and it packs a punch and will fill you up if you pair it with a side or two. I love that the burger is served with only mustard as the sauce, gives it a super unique flavor. However, while, again, the burger is not really dry, I do think a side of another sauce or the addition of another sauce on the burger (maybe as an option) could really take this burger to a whole other level. Do not be afraid of the almond based bun, I think its 100% a winner. Its dense, salty on the outside, rich and moist on the inside. I loved it. It does get a bit crumbly after a few bites, but just grab a fork and finish that baby off! I'm not one to leave bad reviews, but wow, I had a terrible experience here. I came in on a slow Tuesday at 2pm and ordered the Y'all Nachos. From the moment I walked in, the girl who took my order was distracted on her phone (while I was ordering, too). I told her that I needed my nachos to go and I noticed after I paid that the receipt said "Dine-In", so I kindly reminded her that I needed my food for take-out. I was the only person in the restaurant and it took more than 30 minutes to get my nachos. I had a feeling there would be a 50/50 chance that my nachos would come out to-go, and I was right. The nachos came out as a dine-in order. I watched as she dumped the nachos upside down into the to-go container, which was super annoying to eat since all the fixings were at the bottom of the chips. Even though I'm allergic to dairy and gluten and this could be a great option for me, I sadly won't be returning here. Gluten free/vegan food is not cheap and for this price, I would expect better service and food experience. I regret that I left a tip. read more

Was definitely trying to find somewhere to eat that offered a menu with fresh ingredients, and we sure did find it! Native Kitchen is located in The Mill, which is basically an indoor shopping center with a cluster of small businesses and a few places to dine. I really enjoyed the clean and comfortable atmosphere of the Native Kitchen. Even with the concrete floors and brick walls, it really wasn't abnormally loud. The staff was friendly and able to answer any questions or give recommendations. I really hope I have a chance to come back and explore more of their wonderful menu. They offer a lot of vegetarian/vegan options and their entire menu is gluten-free! You'll find sandwiches, bowls, salads, and sides to choose from. They have a cafe menu as well as a drink menu also. I chose to get the Southwest Salad ($11) and I added chicken for a few extra dollars. They give you the choice of either shredded or grilled. I very much enjoyed the grilled, it was cooked well and wasn't dry or over-seasoned. It was just the right amount of lunch for me. I also got an iced Honey Cinnamon Latte ($5). Altogether I spent $20 and would have no problem throwing that much down again, I was very impressed and walked away from an empty plate feeling more alive than before. (I'm sure the coffee had something to do with that).... My friend decided to get the "Ya'll Nachos". So yummy. I don't give 5 star ratings very often, but I could definitely see myself being a regular if I was a local. read more

Thanks to this young lady by the name of FOX I was introduce to this amazing place "Native Kitchen" , it is by far the absolute Best Vegan Restaurant I have frequented in this Area in many years! She does work there, but she did not exaggerate when she told me how "up and above this place was from others in the area"! From the friendliness of the staff to the Warehouse-Old Mill ambience, but the real star of the show was the food, so freaking delicious, they offer gluten-free which is a must for me. Thanks to Yelp, we found this place that we otherwise would not have known about. It is a bit off the highway (about 8-10 minutes) and I had my doubts that the directions were going to bring us there - the road was dark and it didn't look like there was anything resembling a business establishment. But then The Mill Mall popped up and Native is one of the eateries/shops in this converted mill. Bright and airy with lots of green plants and nice music playing. This place is a vegan and vegetarian heaven and while there are not many choices for carnivores, they do serve breakfast all day which made my husband happy. I ordered the quinoa power bowl with garbanzo beans, roasted carrots, tomatoes, kale and a cilantro avocado dressing. Honestly I expected a bowl with all the ingredients mixed together but it was very delicious and satisfying. Glad to add my five star rating to the others! read more

I asked for a redo and they were still a little bit harder than I wanted but it's hard to get soft scrambled done right apparently. The beans were alright but the salsa was skimpy and not really salsa. I didn't see any onion or pepper. I think it was seasoned chopped up tomatoes basically. I love avocado and it's so good for you! I got an okay coffee Americana style. People are sitting 6ft apart but staff were not masked. That surprises me since Covid numbers are still crazy. Staying safe myself. We were looking forward to bringing our out of town guest here for dinner, the ambiance and aesthetic is great which is why I chose to come and give dinner a shot after having visited before for coffee and a breakfast. Things were going alright until we were told that the salad dressing that we asked to change out due to it being very underwhelming was "technically 1$ more." If the spicy chicken sandwich didn't leave enough of a bad taste in our mouth, the fact that they needed to come and tell us just to "let us know" left me questioning my return service and honestly just disappointed. My husband found this restaurant through my "Find Me Gluten-free App" as we traveled through the area. Finding a gluten free dedicated restaurant is like finding a pink unicorn! Not to mention that the food was actually delicious. We ordered the Y'all Nachos, Chicken Salad Sandwich with House Chips, Black-Eyed Peas. Everything was delicious, with the exception of the collard greens. They tasted fine but were tough and full of stems. The house chips were our favorite item. So impressed with this delicious spot! I enjoy eating well but knowing that I've made healthy choices and their dedication to quality ingredients is outstanding. Particularly happy to find somewhere serving grass-fed beef. The cocktail list is really fun and creative - my group enjoyed the mojito (SO fresh and minty!), the mill martini (perfect combination of fruity but not too sweet), and a cider whiskey cocktail that was on the fall menu but that the bartender was kind enough to still make. My wife and I went here for lunch on Saturday. It is reasonably priced and will definitely be going back. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And the place was clean as well! The wait time was a bit long but there are a myriad of reasons for that so it wasn't a problem. Also they made an extra lemonade by accident and gave it to us! For food I ordered the loaded burger fries with pulled Chicken. Everything was great but it was a tad too salty. But that might have been because I got the chicken instead of the ground beef. My wife got the avocado cheese BLT sandwich. She said the flavors were good but thought the gluten free bread was too crumbly. (I am glad those who are gluten free can go here for some food though!) We also got the pecan pie bar which was good. All and all we enjoyed it, and will be looking forward to trying more of the menu! read more

Unfortunately, we didn't try any of their drinks, but they sounded amazing. I got the loaded sweet potato with chicken. It was a baked sweet potato with veggie chili, shredded chicken & avocado with a side of greens and jalapeño ranch. It was delicious! My husband got the potato mash with veggies and a side roll. first let me qualify this, I am not a vegan or a vegetarian, not against or at all and I've been to other restaurants with mostly vegan options and really liked them. This place looked interesting so we went in for a late dinner and I ordered the Burger with a side of quinoa chili. The Guy at the counter was not super friendly but I just figured it was late and he was ready to get out of there. We got our burgers and he didnt offer any condiment so we asked for mayo, he said they didn't have mayo... ok. The burger bun would pretty much disintegrated When I touched it so I went back to get silverware..... when it was able to wrangle it the burger was super bland! The chili was cold so I took it back to get it warmed and was told they had no way to warm it up..... Bland disintegrated burger and cold chili....... Not my ideal of a great meal. read more

I ordered the jam burger with bacon and the quinoa veggie chili. she ordered the dill chicken salad sandwich and the chili. She also got the oatmeal cream pie. I would recommend that if you get their sandwiches that you dined in. The next day that I came in I had their bacon egg avo sandwich with a side of fig jam and potatoes. I did find it hard to believe that the toast I ate was gluten free. I had their coconut lavender honey iced coffee and it was not overly sweet but it was perfect. We came today July 8th to have lunch again. I got the spicy grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. My mom got the jam Burger. This will definitely be a place that we come to often to get breakfast and lunch. The place is laid back and relaxed and a nice loft area that you can sit in see out through the big Windows of the Old Mill. The decor is minimal but very pleasing. The service is phenomenal.
