[[HIGHLIGHT]]But coming in the morning is really pleasant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've only gotten coffee here in the past, so this time we got food. I got a Pistachio Croffin (croissant muffin) and we shared a Berries and Cream crepe. And that first bite of that crepe was absolutely delicious. We were planning on sharing that crepe with another friend, but that crepe was so good we demolished it haha. We ended up ordering the Spinach Pesto crepe to share for later instead. But wow, I have nothing but praise for these crepes because they blew me away. The Berries and Cream crepe was just amazing. Fruits tasted fresh and juicy. The crepe itself was perfectly sweet. And the whipped cream cheese filling inside was light and creamy. I couldn't ask for more in a fruit crepe. Also the light drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top? Chef's kiss. And then we tried the Spinach and Pesto crepe. It had all my favorite things inside, so of course I loved it. I loved the savory pesto spread inside the crepe, the spinach, ricotta, and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The tomatoes added a nice acidity to balance and the balsalmic glaze tied it all together on top. It felt like applause roared in my mouth. Also I can't forget the Pistachio Croffin I ate too. It had great texture, and had that subtle nutty flavor from the pistachio. I really liked it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anyways, I'm a big Morning Brew fan. It's poppin' in the afternoon and it's tough getting a seat, but it's not hard to see why. My husband and I stopped here on the way home from our stay in Chattanooga. It wasn't too far off from our regular route home (Knoxville), so we made the visit. I love seeing the evolution of small businesses! From coffee/catering cart to brick-and-mortar shop, congrats! I had the joy of trying Morning Brew Co for the first time today, and I am happy to leave a positive review. Morning Brew offers hand-crafted, specialty coffees, such as cortados, lattes, and pour-overs, as well as traditional blends for those who are looking for a simple cup of black coffee. Non-coffee drinks are also offered along with some sweet and savory pastries/treats. I enjoyed a comforting and delicious London Fog ($4) and have my eye on trying some of the pastries (the chocolate crossaint is calling me) during my next visit. The interior is calm, modern, and clean, with casual seating and a laid-back atmosphere that enables visitors to slow down and take a break from hectic schedules. Service was friendly and efficient too. I am very happy to have this sophisticated coffee shop as an addition to the lovely Cambridge Square, and I look forward to visiting again and again! read more

Love the pastries and drinks here! I particularly love the ham & cheese croissant and an iced matcha. I also really love the seasonal rotation of syrups and pastries. I've never purchased anything at Morning Brew that I did not enjoy. I am BEGGING for different lids on the iced beverages. I either get matcha or coffee dripped all over me because the lid is always deformed :( Pricing isn't too bad, but the total can build quickly if you're not alone. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside is super cute, but small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff seem to frequently be in bad/awkward moods. This often makes me feel uncomfortable, especially while waiting for my drinks. Cutest new cafe in town! Amazing locally roasted coffee, fresh baked pastries and made to order crepes. Also tried the matcha, it's ceremonial grade and imported from Japan. The owner, Dennis, is incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to if you catch him during a free moment. We're in town for a family wedding and been here 4 times in 3 days!
