It's coffee time of the day

It's a nice coffee shop. We discovered it several years ago during our visit to the city. Now every time passing by Chattanooga we stop for a coffee drink. We love the service. It's always friendly. Ambiance is cozy and relaxing. The most important thing is that we enjoy our coffee drinks, cappuccino and iced coffee.

Comfy space for working, I was here for about 90 minutes this afternoon. I had a table with power outlets where I could use their wifi and drink coffee while pounding away at the keyboard. They do have background music so I'm thinking this isn't a great spot for your Zoom calls. A few others were here before I arrived and were still present when I departed. It's clearly a spot for hanging out. I think the seating area is also the coffee shop for the church but on a Monday afternoon, they weren't holding any church services. Metered parking on the street. [Review 18143 overall - 295 in Tennessee - 1665 of 2022.]

Cadence Coffee offers a fantastic experience with its great atmosphere and friendly baristas. The traditional macchiato was wonderfully balanced, and my wife's iced dirty chai was excellent. A must-visit spot for coffee lovers!

After running a little behind because of traffic, my original stop had closed. I searched for the nearest coffee ship and Cadence came up. I walked a short way around the corner and in the door. Parking, while on the street, was easy to find (less than $1). The young lady working was so kind to greet me and find out what my coffee preferences were before making a suggestion. I noticed they had a "pay it forward" card but didn't think much of it. After grabbing my coffee and taking a seat, a man came through the door. The young lady greeted him by name and asked how his day was. He replied to her question and stated that he had lost his courtesy card. She very warmly told him that was okay and she was happy to refill his drink. Complete kindness and full of dignity that all people deserve. Honestly, I was moved by this. It made an impression and when in town I will continue to support them!.

We stopped here on our way out of town. Our barista was so kind and helpful. I ended up with an iced butterscotchiato and it was delicious!!!! And we loved their mission.... Giving back to their community. When we are back in this area again, we will definitely be back.

Heat miser and plain bagel with cream cheese

I got the iced heat miser and a bagel with cream cheese. Both were delicious. They are open for indoor seating, but they also have a place to sit outside for two people, which was perfect for us.

Another one of my favorite little spots in Chattanooga. Their chai tea is very good and it goes great with a coffee cake. Cadence has also taken proper COVID precautions by adding plexiglass and sanitizer at the cash register. There's also outdoor seating and room on the other side of the shop for additional distancing. Great atmosphere and service.

Cadence Coffee Company on 7th Street in Chattanooga is a quality choice for all things coffee, breakfast, and snacks. Everything that I have tried from here has been well prepared and delicious. The overall atmosphere here is very relaxing and a place you want to come back to. The staff here is very accommodating and takes the time to make sure that you get everything that you want.

Stopped in for a coffee and pastry. The pastry selection was minimal though everything looked tasty. I ordered a drip coffee and banana bread. The banana bread was delicious and fresh. The coffee was pretty good, smooth. The service was pleasant and efficient. The interior of the place was very nice and inviting. Parking is street and metered so that's somewhat of a pain and not unusual since they are in downtown. Solid experience.

I was the only customer when I walked in this morning, so I certainly got a lot of friendly attention. I opted to try their seasonal Apple Crumble Latte with a request to reduce the overall sweetness, it worked, there are some very distinctive flavor combinations here, and it was nice and hot. Mugs are not an option here, so I won't take off on that. This is a small store with very limited seating so I suspect this will impact the ability of TT to become the hangout that some of their competitors have, which I believe will also impact the customer type they will attract.

This place is right off the main roadway in downtown Chattanooga, making it super easy to stop in if you're exploring all the attractions around it. It is small with limited seating, which looked to be filled with regulars/climbers, so be ready to take the drink to go. My caramel latte was a bit in the pricier side, but it was amazing! The whole milk added a good richness to the drink, and you could tell it was a real caramel sauce they used, not some cheap syrup. On top of all that, the flavors were still balanced enough that you could taste the espresso. I cannot vouch for the food here, but if I came back to visit this town, this coffee shop would be one of my first stops.

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Please take this review with a grain of salt. Today was probably not an exemplary day for Milk &…read moreHoney. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!
