When they cut the fruit in front of you, you know it's going to be fresh and delicious. The fruit was sweet, and had just a small hint of spice from the seasoning on it. I also bought 3 popsicle like ice creams here with fresh fruit: strawberry cream, mangos and pineapple and they were all so refreshing. They stopped selling fresh fruits out front from what I saw, but they do have a lot of candy and Hispanic treats in the front, and a decent size menu to choose from. They sell snack like nachos and elotes, popsicle, ice cream and many fresh fruit varieties. Do yourself a favor and support this small local business :)

I like ice cream, but I don't love it, EXCEPT when it comes from Scoop Around. The first time I…read morewent it was because I was on a walk with my boyfriend and his mom and they wanted to go. I wasn't even expecting to get anything. When I walked in though, I tried a spoon of the key lime flavor they had at the time. I expected it to taste like key-lime-flavored-ice-cream but it tasted like a scoop full of key lime PIE The texture even felt like pie because there were delicious hunks of graham crust inside. I was converted. BUT, even more importantly, this shop is run by passionate people. The second time we went in was weeks or even a little over a month later and they remembered us. They gave us a pup cup for my boyfriend's dog while he waited outside with him and they were so helpful and patient with me and his mom. We were indecisive and might have been hard to communicate with because we struggled through our decision making process in Spanglish. She was trying in both languages to explain to me what she wanted but my help wasn't needed at all because the people at Scoop got the gist of what flavor she was craving (rum and raisin) and did their best to come up with something adjacent. She loved it! I so appreciate the kind people at Scoop. "Son muy atentos" y "bien nice."

Service was fast and friendly whether in the drive-thru or the walk up window. There's also a handful of clean dog friendly patio table seating to sit. I ordered the mint and chocolate chip in a kid's cup size (1 scoop), and the hubby ordered a waffle cone with the chocolate raspberry truffle ($11.32 total). Both flavors were absolutely delectable and so creamy. I also appreciate that they offer dairy free flavor options too!
