I LOVE how cute this place is! The worker was very nice and thorough when taking our orders. Our drinks were all made perfectly and with lots of boba. This is my favorite boba place in the area!

We have a kung fu tea in GA but I haven't been in years. I think the taste is consistent between locations from what I remembered. My drink, the sunshine pineapple tea was really refreshing after biking the bridge and downtown Chattanooga. There were real pineapple bits in the drink. The shop was cool, nicely decorated-cool atmosphere, and the drink was good. Sometime they have promo drinks, I remembered a final fantasy one awhile back. Check out kung fu you never know what may be in store but what's for sure is a good drink.

Somewhat pricey for the product but flavors are good. Ordered a strawberry lime tea with tapioca.

Passion fruit tea with double pearls and nata jelly. Regular ice and sweetness.

Decent Boba but not the best option in town. We preordered on app and arrived to find out "no smoothies" today. Switched to a passion fruit tea. It was good but I bit bitter from maybe being overbrewed. And our boba felt a little less than fresh. We ordered double boba and got about the same amount as across town competition regular. Tried the Nata jelly- kind tasteless but still fun. Quick service. We still enjoyed our boba!

I always love kungfutea. I have been to many kungfutea and their standard is always the same. Staffs know their product and recommend very well. The atmosphere were so cute. I love the lighting clouds they have there. The store looks clean! Vicky is my favorite staff.

We visited on a Saturday night and as big fans of the Atlanta bubble tea scene, were excited to find a spot in Chattanooga. I got the Thai milk tea with bubbles and custard. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and underwhelmed. The flavor was lacking in the tea, and even though the sweetness was the lowest option, it was sweeter than it should have been. The custard topping was also bland and the only good thing was the Boba. Wouldn't recommend or go back.

We stumbled across this little gem while we were celebrating our second anniversary! I have to say we are beyond happy we stopped here!!! I got the matcha redbean slush with boba which was extremely unique! It was fantastic! But definitely not for everyone. My husband didn't like the red bean paste in it but I thought it complimented the sweetness of the matcha well. I wish there was a place in Nashville that sold it because i loved it so much! My husband just got the matcha milk tea with boba which he loved. The staff was extremely friendly and the bathrooms were clean, both a huge plus!!We can't wait to come back here next time we are in the area!!

Delicious tea! A bit on the sweeter side so order less sweeter than what you actually want.

We needed a boba tea joint in downtown Chattanooga! Like really! This place is small but adorable and chill. Love the decor and hip vibes. A great variety of slush boba, milk boba, and energy boba. I had the taro milk tea boba and it was delicious. Great spot and location!

To start, I have always heard great things about Kung Fu Tea. Many of my friends make frequent trips to Atlanta in order to have their various teas and drinks. So when I heard that a location had opened here in Chattanooga, I knew I needed to try it! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by two of the workers. They asked if I needed any help ordering or if I needed any suggestions. They were very friendly and accommodating with my order, since this was my first time trying milk tea. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Bubbles and Less Sugar (70% of the normal amount). When I received my drink, I was very happy with my choice! The option of changing the sugar level within the drink was nice, since I prefer my teas to be less sweet. They range from No Sugar (0%) all the way to Extra (120%), so everyone should be able to find their desired sweetness level. In addition to the milk teas, they also have classic hot and iced teas, slushes, and fruity drinks. I believe that they also have plans to sell small snacks at some point. I will definitely be returning here to try more flavors of the milk tea and others drinks they have! Kung Fu Tea is a great addition to the North Shore lineup of restaurants and shops, and I HIGHLY suggest everyone come support this business!

I've tried a bunch of tea/bobba tea places and this is the best! Every time I try a new place I'm disappointed that it's not as good as Kung Fu Tea. Their teas are actually tea/taste like tea and not just water with ice, boba, and syrup. My favourite is the winter melon milk tea - even with no sugar it's delicious! Definitely give it a shot if you're in the area :)

I have tried several bubble tea places around town. This is by far my favorite one. My drink of choice is the Cocoa Wow. The tapioca pearls are marinated in brown sugar. The milk cap is just amazing. I've ordered take out several times since the covid-19 shutdown. They were going to great lengths to follow safe guidlines. I have also tried the grapefruit yogurt tea with passionfruit bobas. It was also excellent. This location is perfect for a nice walk on the bridge with tea in hand. The place is always clean and decorated very nicely.

    DISGUSTING

DON'T GO HERE! This is the first review I've ever written because the worker, location, and drink were so terrible. It was so bad, I went out of my way to download this app to write this review. Young lady working on January 7th, 2022 in the evening was extremely rude and annoyed. She messed up my order multiple times and was even more rude and annoyed each time she had to make up for her mistakes. Eventually I just wanted to leave, so I picked up the drink and left... This is what I ended up with.

It's been tough to find boba tea places in East Tennessee, let alone find really good boba tea…read more Today, I am happy to have found Panda Boba and share that it exceeded my expectations for East TN boba tea. The menu offers so much! From milk teas, slushees, foam topped teas, fruit teas to bubble waffles with Mayfield Dairy ice cream and various steam buns (I have my eyes on the custard buns for a return visit). After much consideration, we decided upon a Passion Fruit Tea with Lychee Jelly ($7.68) and a Green Jasmine Milk Foam Tea with boba ($7.68). Both drinks were incredibly delicious, sweetened just enough so you could still taste the tea flavors, which we love. My husband and I agreed that the lychee jelly topping was perhaps the best lychee jelly we've ever tasted. Something perhaps odd and small to note, but it was extremely flavorful. Most lychee jellies we encounter taste like a gelatin base perhaps soaked in lychee syrup. Panda Boba's lychee jelly actually had a rich flavor of lychee completely through the jelly. It paired so well with the passion fruit tea. Inside was spacious, cutely themed, and pretty clean. Service was efficient too. Definitely in my personal top 3 boba tea shops in East Tennessee and I'd recommend stopping by.

Most sushi restaurants aim for quiet elegance. Sake Roll &…read moreGrill went with giant sports bar television and hoped the sushi would keep up. This place is a little off the beaten path, but the reviews looked promising, so we decided a small sushi road trip was in order. I walked in expecting the usual sushi restaurant vibe. Instead I was greeted by a television so large it could probably pick up signals from space. When I say massive, I mean it takes up an entire wall. Nothing pairs with delicate nigiri quite like a television the size of a drive-in movie screen. The all you can eat menu is a little limited when it comes to rolls, which was a bit surprising. But the nigiri selection was actually pretty strong and, more importantly, surprisingly fresh. Plenty of options and the fish held up well over multiple rounds. The cooked items were also plentiful, which helps if someone in your group is not fully committed to the raw fish lifestyle. Overall, I enjoyed the food. The service, however, moved at a pace that felt very... deliberate. Very, very slow. Slow enough that you start wondering if the rice is being strategically deployed to fill you up before your next order arrives. Still, the food was good and the experience enjoyable enough to land at a slightly above average four stars. Tip: come with extra time and patience. Settle in, watch a good sporting event on that enormous TV, and pack away some pretty solid sushi. Four stars. A little off the beaten path, a little slow on the service, but good sushi and possibly the biggest TV you will ever see in a sushi restaurant.

I stopped here a few weeks ago with my co-driver before getting back on the road. I had been…read morecraving sushi for a while and found Sake Roll & Grill on Google Maps. To start with the positive, the sushi itself was actually solid for an all-you-can-eat spot. AYCE sushi can sometimes be hit or miss, but the rolls and sashimi here were better quality than I expected. We arrived around 8:30 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant closes at 10 PM and the place was still fairly busy with customers. We were greeted kindly by a host with pink hair and seated near the TV across from the sushi station. Service overall was friendly. Where the experience became frustrating was how early the sushi bar shut down. By around 9 PM, every sushi chef had already broken down their stations. I'm talking fully cleaned cases, wiped counters, and the sushi bar basically closed. There were around five to seven sushi chefs working, so it was surprising to see the entire sushi station shut down while customers were still dining. At the very least it would make sense to keep one or two sushi chefs working closer to closing time, or let customers know something like "last call for sushi is at 8:45." We weren't told anything when we walked in. I've spent about 17 years working in kitchens and culinary, and in most restaurants if something is about to be 86'd or is nearing last call, the staff communicates that clearly to the guests. To be fair, the sushi I did receive was good. What I ordered: Miso soup Two crab salads Avocado salad Snapper sashimi Tuna sashimi Tako sashimi Spicy California roll White Tiger roll Spicy tuna roll Crabmeat roll Cucumber roll And yes, I finished everything. My co-driver was honestly surprised I was going to eat all that, but I don't leave food behind. I even had room for another roll or two. The sashimi and rolls were good quality overall. A few pricing things were a little confusing though. Sashimi costs an extra fifty cents per piece while nigiri does not, even though the only difference is the rice. There is also an eighteen percent charge for wasted food plus fifty cents per uneaten piece. I understand discouraging waste, but the combination of those charges felt a bit excessive. The base AYCE price was around twenty-two to twenty-three dollars, which is fair. However the additional charges can stack up quickly. The miso soup was unfortunately the weakest part of the meal. It tasted extremely watered down, almost like plain broth. My total ended up being around thirty-three dollars after tax, which isn't terrible, but the early sushi bar shutdown and lack of communication made the experience more frustrating than it needed to be. Overall the sushi quality was solid and I'd still come back again. Just give customers a heads up about last call for sushi and this place would easily be a home run.

One time my parents and I came here after dinner for their gelato, and it was so delicious. We were all very impressed with the consistency and how smooth it was. So I've only had their gelato after all these years. This time I came for brunch with a friend on Sunday morning. It was packed and we got on the waiting list for a table. Wait time wasn't too bad actually. My friend and I both ordered the Hodgepodge Hash and I subbed the sausage for chicken sausage. Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I had come here sooner. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. I love anything coffee so this one was good, and the Pistachio one was nice and light. It had a subtle Pistachio creamy taste. Just as before, the gelato was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. Service was great, our waiter was very friendly and super helpful with our food preferences. I have no complaints at all about our experience, and I love every single thing we ordered. I can't imagine a better place to spend Sunday brunch. I look forward to the next time I'm back, thank you!

Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. Wait times were often in excess of an hour listening to other people waiting to be seated. That's a horrible experience on its face, and the management of this restaurant needs to do much much better or just close on Mother's Day. Next, we'll get to the food. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. For those of us at the table that ordered coffee, it was rather strong. I normally like strong coffee, but this was borderline Turkish coffee, and there wasn't enough cream available to mask the potency. The service was also stretched thin. Our server, Destiny, did her best, but she was waiting too many tables. Having once been a waitermyself I have a special affinity for Service staff who are asked to do too much. We left her a good tip, but I'm sure she is capable of much better service than what she was allowed to deliver. Finally, the overwhelming crowd made the restaurant feel claustrophobic. The noise level was far too high, and we could barely hear one another at our table and we were sitting very close to one another. I don't place the blame on the kitchen, staff, or the wait staff, or even the greeters. This was a fail of management, plain and simple. They made no contingency plans for that many people and should have anticipated a larger crowd on Mother's Day. Management -I challenge you to do better!!! We will come back during a normal Service day to see if you can perform better, but I encourage you, as owners and managers, to stop setting your staff up for failure, which is what you did!
