We have a kung fu tea in GA but I haven't been in years. I think the taste is consistent between locations from what I remembered. My drink, the sunshine pineapple tea was really refreshing after biking the bridge and downtown Chattanooga. There were real pineapple bits in the drink. The shop was cool, nicely decorated-cool atmosphere, and the drink was good. Sometime they have promo drinks, I remembered a final fantasy one awhile back. Fantastic boba tea and a favorite of local hipsters, students and bridge walkers,We got the Thai boba and a passion fruit smoothie (with boba of course). Both drinks were outstanding. All the details were right: large straw for hoovering up boba, the sealed plastic cover, and the anime art stylings throughout the store. Decent Boba but not the best option in town. We preordered on app and arrived to find out "no smoothies" today. Switched to a passion fruit tea. It was good but I bit bitter from maybe being overbrewed. And our boba felt a little less than fresh. We ordered double boba and got about the same amount as across town competition regular. Tried the Nata jelly- kind tasteless but still fun. Quick service. We still enjoyed our boba! read more

We visited on a Saturday night and as big fans of the Atlanta bubble tea scene, were excited to find a spot in Chattanooga. I got the Thai milk tea with bubbles and custard. Unfortunately I was very disappointed and underwhelmed. The flavor was lacking in the tea, and even though the sweetness was the lowest option, it was sweeter than it should have been. We stumbled across this little gem while we were celebrating our second anniversary! I have to say we are beyond happy we stopped here!!! I got the matcha redbean slush with boba which was extremely unique! It was fantastic! But definitely not for everyone. My husband didn't like the red bean paste in it but I thought it complimented the sweetness of the matcha well. I wish there was a place in Nashville that sold it because i loved it so much! My husband just got the matcha milk tea with boba which he loved. I can't tell you how excited I was to learn about this place! Having a bubble tea locale near my favorite area of town. I fell in love with all types of bubble tea while in Beijing. My first visit I ordered the mango bursting bubbles with green tea. The mango bubbles were delicious but the green tea was acrid...like the leaves were left in the water too long. My second visit yesterday was MUCH BETTER. I ordered the passion fruit tea with no extra sweetener and it was still sweet. Whereas my daughter ordered the honey tea with the mango bursting bubbles. She loved it! Service was friendly both times and the ambiance was laid back, like a coffee shop. I can't wait to return!! read more

To start, I have always heard great things about Kung Fu Tea. Many of my friends make frequent trips to Atlanta in order to have their various teas and drinks. So when I heard that a location had opened here in Chattanooga, I knew I needed to try it! When I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by two of the workers. They asked if I needed any help ordering or if I needed any suggestions. They were very friendly and accommodating with my order, since this was my first time trying milk tea. I ordered the Thai Milk Tea with Bubbles and Less Sugar (70% of the normal amount). When I received my drink, I was very happy with my choice! The option of changing the sugar level within the drink was nice, since I prefer my teas to be less sweet. They range from No Sugar (0%) all the way to Extra (120%), so everyone should be able to find their desired sweetness level. In addition to the milk teas, they also have classic hot and iced teas, slushes, and fruity drinks. I believe that they also have plans to sell small snacks at some point. I will definitely be returning here to try more flavors of the milk tea and others drinks they have! Kung Fu Tea is a great addition to the North Shore lineup of restaurants and shops, and I HIGHLY suggest everyone come support this business! read more

I've tried a bunch of tea/bobba tea places and this is the best! Every time I try a new place I'm disappointed that it's not as good as Kung Fu Tea. Their teas are actually tea/taste like tea and not just water with ice, boba, and syrup. My favourite is the winter melon milk tea - even with no sugar it's delicious! Definitely give it a shot if you're in the area :) read more

I have tried several bubble tea places around town. This is by far my favorite one. My drink of choice is the Cocoa Wow. The tapioca pearls are marinated in brown sugar. The milk cap is just amazing. I've ordered take out several times since the covid-19 shutdown. They were going to great lengths to follow safe guidlines. I have also tried the grapefruit yogurt tea with passionfruit bobas. It was also excellent. This location is perfect for a nice walk on the bridge with tea in hand. The place is always clean and decorated very nicely. read more

We were visiting and love KFT so we stopped by, but they were out of boba. The drinks themselves were alright. It isn't as great as the ones back in Texas. The service was kind of off. There was only one person and she seemed kind of to herself. I asked when the boba was going to done being made so I could come back and she just kept saying it'll be a while. So I ended up not coming back since the drink weren't super great. read more

DON'T GO HERE! This is the first review I've ever written because the worker, location, and drink were so terrible. It was so bad, I went out of my way to download this app to write this review. Young lady working on January 7th, 2022 in the evening was extremely rude and annoyed. I love how Chattanooga has a kung fu tea but the ones in other location taste better. The tapioca texture was Harry and not soft and chewy like the rest of kung fu I've been too. And I've been to quite a few around the states. Wintermelon milk tea is my favorite but I have to get it with 0% sugar and it's still sweeter than most kung fu I've been too. When I'm in town for work I usually stop by to get my boba tea fix. read more

So my experience here is that sometimes I get good Nd nice service then other times I don't. I usually order the same thing a mango snow slush with mango jelly or mango popping bubbles. The boba balls are good to me and don't have a strong flavor. The mango popping bubbles are good and juicy and the mango jellies are a more dulled flavor but is still good. I've also tried the Oreo slush which is perfect for kids. The coca cream wow is good as well and doesn't have a strong flavor. Drinks here cost about $4 minimum. read more

This place is quickly becoming an addiction. I actually like it more than I like Starbucks. The bubbles in the tea are made of tapioca and they are chewy and yummy. In addition you can get fruit or fruit popping bubbles that are really yummy too. I have tried four different ones now and the Almond milk with bubbles is my favorite so far. They have things that do not have milk and things that Do and many many choices. The service is fast and friendly. Everything is completely customizable based on your taste. The most challenging thing is parking because Street parking is the only thing available but usually you can find a spot within a couple of blocks. The exterior of the building is a bit hard to see because there is only a small sign. It is a new and interesting experience that everyone should try. read more

I've been to KFT all over the US. I've been to the one in NY, San Fran, Atlanta (all 3 locations), and finally to this location. The good news is, it is the same KFT everyone knows and loves: the bubbles are chewy and delectable, the tea is brewed well, and it tasted great. I ordered my go-to: Oolong Milk Tea with 0% sugar, and it tasted same as my usual spot in Atlanta. You can still use your KFT app on your phone to rack up the bubbles to earn your points. The only complaint I have is that they seem understaffed. I went on a busy Saturday night, and they only had 1 person doing the tea making. That slows everything down, and it took a while for me to get my tea. They need 2 people to pump out the teas. They have the formula on how to make the tea down, they just need to figure out the efficiency. The space is small and cute, like most Kung Fu Teas. They have a few board games if you wanna hang and play them. I highly suggest KFT if you're craving Bubble Tea in the Chattanooga area. read more

terrible service. lady with black hair took multiple people at the same time when she clearly couldn't handle it. she asked me what i wanted before the other person even finished paying. she was super rude to the other customers and messed up multiple things. i ordered two drinks, one thai tea with no ice and no boba and a matcha milk tea with boba. my thai tea had ice and my matcha had no boba. this is not my first time being here and usually the service is better so i expected more from here. read more

I'm a big fan of my local Kung Fu Tea, so I was really excited to see a KFT while vacationing in Chattanooga. The solo staff there had an attitude when I walked in and seemed like I was bothering her by wanting to place an order. I ordered my usual Honey Oolong Tea with Boba and it tasted like there was SOAP in it. I've ordered this drink many, many times and this is the first time it's tasted like that. I asked my husband to try it, without saying anything and his first remark was "Is there soap in this??" Not wanting to risk my health, I threw the drink away. I first reached out privately to this KFT outlet about this, but got no response. They don't seem to care about service or customers. I still love KFT, but not this one! read more

I have never wrote a Yelp review before but I just HAD to. The lady working on December 30th around 6pm was so so rude. Me and my boyfriend came in for boba, I've been to other KFT before and it was really good. I usually get the milk tea with boba and my boyfriend gets a strawberry slush. I asked her what was in the new cocoa wow drink and she explained it to me. I asked her if it had tea in it and she basically acted like I was stupid for asking a question, she did the same thing to my bf when he asked about a drink. when i got my drink (i ended up getting a milk tea with brown sugar boba) and it just tasted like milk, so I politely went up to her thinking maybe she forgot and she was so rude and it was such an easy fix to just put more tea in it maybe??? She was so aggravated that I didn't like the drink and I was being such a huge bother to her. I wasn't being rude at all either which is what I don't get why she had to talk to us as if we were stupid. The tea still had a really weak taste, but I just took the bad drink because I wanted to get out of there. If I had just ONE ticket to go back in time I would use it to walk right past this KFT. Whoever owns this particular chain needs to talk with her, she is doing terrible for your business!!! read more

Young lady working Friday January 7 2020 with a pink jacket and jeans at 7:30pm was extremely unprofessional and rude. Not only were my orders made incorrectly, she didn't bother to let us know when they were done. We arrived to the shop and she was eating dinner on the counter while on her phone. She didn't greet us and then once we ordered, she got frustrated and messed up the drinks MULTIPLE times and got annoyed when we tried explaining what we wanted. I LOVE KFT but this place doesn't satisfy what KFT is about. read more

i always like kung fu tea but the girl in here today had some attitude for whatever reason so i don't recommend going there if that's something that bothers you. also me and my friend ordered almost the exact same thing and they came out completely different even though the girl at the counter kept insisting they were the same drink (they didn't even ring up the same). Nice to see bubble tea place in Chat, but $20 for 4 drinks is crazy (two of which were plain iced teas). If we wanted over-priced tea we would go to Starbucks where at least we earn awards and can get something to eat also. read more

At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. The donut on the other hand, was not that sweet. It was a basic donut with a little bit of chocolate, coconut flakes and almond flakes. It was not that good and I was quite disappointed. My friend ordered a cinnamon roll and raved about it the entire time plus other friends ordered coffee and they all enjoyed it. So definitely a place to come back for coffee.

I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

The back area was full of families and furry friends. Our servers were attentive to our needs and fun to talk to.
