What items I did try did not taste safe. The eggrolls only contain cabbage and nothing else. Other patrons were voicing concerns. The sushi tasted of canned tuna. The cold buffet line had art for sale in it. The blinds are closed. The music needs to be oriental. Ambiance is sad/depressing. But theres merch available. I do not feel good. I feel sick.

There were a few things that weren't perfect, but that's par for the course at a buffet. The service was very friendly and on top of things. As for the food, the cheese Rangoon was a little sweeter than I like, and my son (who is a sushi fiend) said he didn't like the sushi at all. I did like the sushi I had, though, and my daughter liked the sushi she had. The rice was exceptionally good. I believe it was jasmine rice and had great flavor and was cooked perfectly. The mushrooms and fried potatoes were excellent. My husband loved his pepper steak. My kids loved the fried rice and said the sweet and sour chicken was awesome. My husband was disappointed they didn't have strawberry cake like they have at most Asian buffets since that's his favorite, but they did have the coffee-flavored cake that my kids and I love. My husband got the cookies and cream cake and said it was very dry. I found the salad bar a little lacking. Would have loved to see a few more options like tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, radish, etc. But what was there was fresh. The fruit was very good quality. I had three orange wedges and they were delicious. Overall, it was a very solid experience. There will always be some ups and downs on a buffet, but for us there were significantly more ups here than downs. We would definitely come back.

We started with the flower tea, amazing choice! Sweet and warming, nicely aromatic. Perfect start. Then the dim sum carts rolled in and we chowed down. DISHES I ORDERED - Siu Mai: Not the best I've had. Quite oily on the outside, but the flavor isn't bad. It does...taste like siu mai. It's just nothing spectacular - Chinese Broccoli: A classic! Very good - Beef Chow Fun: A very chewy and bouncy home made flat noodle dish. Savory, salty, and flavorful! Good amount of tender beef too. - Shrimp Balls: Crispy and fried on the outside, yummy, with good big shrimp ball. Yummy classic sweet and sour sauce too. Delicious - Egg Rolls: Good, not too oily, a normal egg roll - Spare ribs: Possibly my favorite dish! Tender, not too chewy, good savory sweet flavor. -- Overall, it's not bad but it's nothing to write home about. My favorite item was probably the spare ribs. The rest were standard in my opinion. However, service is fast since it is dimsum, so perfect to eat when hungry! Also great ambiance for big group parties or hangouts!

We came for dim sum lunch. The decor at this new place (new to us) was opulent with oversize chandeliers, huge dining hall as if it's meant for a massive Chinese wedding type of dining hall. Dim sum came in carts and as soon as they brought our tea, the cart race to reach us began and we were bombarded with eager aunties offering their plates. We were overwhelmed by the variety. Overall we think they were better than expected as we were reminded their reviews weren't good when they first moved here.

There are some differences to how menu items are made/taste from when I first had it, so I feel as though the chef has most likely changed. It's both good and bad because the menu items with taro aren't quite as nice as before, but other things are either the same or better like the Beef Ho Fun for example. The chicken feet have changed too, but both were good. All the classic items are still basically the same. I liked the pan fried chives dumplings and beef cheung fun here. I can't speak for dinner or how it is on the weekdays, but it's quite busy over the weekends, which is expected for dim sum. It's a large space too, but once it's busy, you'll have to take a number and wait for a table. There's some seating along the side of the entrance to wait, but it may still take awhile. Usually, only one person really has to go and take a number, so if possible, one person should strive to get there earlier.

The plaza the restaurant was in was on the nicer side compared to regular strip malls, so we hoped for some good warm rice noodle soup. The place only had a few people in there, but given the fact it was a rainy day, that was expected. We were seated pretty quickly and our server got our drink orders. I had the mango milk tea with sago, and my partner had the taro mild tea with sago. I'm not sure why it happens to her drink orders, but every so often, they will have boba balls in her drinks when she didn't want them; this place was no exception. We are sad to report the flavor of these teas are quite bland. You will only get a hint of the flavor you ordered. We both ordered the golden hot and sour rice noodle soup, a side of sausage skewers, and a side of shrimp rice noodle rolls. The soup was a big disappointment. The flavor was ok at best, but all the textures were off, and the rice noodles appear to be a bit soggy when it was brought out. Neither of us finished our soups with close to half of each of our bowls left. The shrimp rice noodle rolls were a surprise. Normally, they are full shrimps inside the rolls, but at this location it was made with cooked shrimp paste. The taste was ok, but again, odd texture. The sausage skewers were a sad joke: they were two longer beef hot dogs that were fried up and served with ketchup... I am not kidding you. I didn't know what to say. We had a long drive ahead of us, so we did a double order of the popcorn chicken to go when we placed our initial order. The flavor was ok, but it had no crisp at all. At least there was some fried basil in the flavor profile. We are sad to say, we did not enjoy our visit here. I'm not sure how it has a 4.3 rating, or if being from LA has spoiled us and gave us too high of expectations for these kinds of foods.
