As such, having had Thai all over the US, I can say that this place is solidly in my top-15 locations! Ordered the PadThai and spring rolls. The rolls were generic frozen rolls you can get anywhere, but they were hot and well fried. The PadThai was quite good though and well made. I wish their spice platter had included some Prik Nam Pla, as I like that salty chili flavor, but the food didn't really need it. I knew it would be good when I could hear the wok working behing the counter and overheard the workers speaking Thai. There was one other couple in there. The first thing I noticed was the sad, outdated, stereotypical decor. We ordered chicken satay, Pad Thai, and I ordered a Thai iced tea. The chicken satay had no flavor, the Pad Thai was cold, the noodles mushy, and there was zero flavor. The peanuts were stale. The ice tea was terrible. The service was slow, for us anyway. Apparently the couple that was there were regulars and their service was quick. Another gentleman came in after us, also a regular, and has his food before us. I ordered the TK roll and Alaska roll. My sushi was delicious. The fish quality was pretty good, and the vegetables tasted fresh. At first looking at the sushi, I thought the portion size was small. But the amount of fish that's in the TK Roll was plentiful. The salmon on top of the roll was a pretty large piece. The sweet chili sauce was just great. And overall, the roll was so well balanced. Each part complemented each other so well. My stomach is growling just from looking back at the pictures and writing it about it haha. And the mango sticky rice! The mango was so fresh and juicy. And the sticky rice had the perfect sweetness level. I wish they gave more sticky rice in proportion to the mango because there was much more mango compared to the rice. That's my only qualm with our dinner. For all the dishes though, food presentation was beautiful. When our server set our plates down, I was so impressed. I'm pretty sure I said "wow" every time she brought something over lol. We had a great experience and a fun girls night. I would definitely come back again, especially for the sushi. We've had a lot of Thai food around town, but we always come find our way back to Yummy Thai food truck. We tried the brick and mortar which is owned by the same family, but the food truck is much better tasting, and the service is much faster since it's a food truck vS a restaurant. There isn't much of an ambiance, since it's parked outside of Dirty Jane's Antiques, so I would recommend they add a pop up tent with a table and chairs (if allowed) for those who want to devour the food immediately, and to also draw more attention to the business. You text the business number, list what you want, and give your name, call back number, and pickup time. I literally copied and pasted from the previous text every time using the same template and just changed the food items, for 2+ years. Never had any problem until a couple weeks ago. The owner missed the time, tried to say I didn't list a pickup time, and got an attitude when I responded by sending him a screenshot showing that I did specify a time, as always. I decided to just cancel the order, still 1 hour in advance, and went somewhere else. He responded to this by blocking my phone number, effectively banning me. This is petty, vindictive, and highly unprofessional behavior towards a loyal customer who has supported his business with literally thousands of dollars over 2+ years, all because the owner had to act like someone else was at fault for his simple mistake. I wasn't even upset at all! I was just trying to alert him as rapidly as possible when I realized he had the time wrong so they didn't start the order early. Basic Customer Service - All this guy had to do was say "Oh, I didn't see that, see you at 6pm." No big deal. Instead he gets an attitude and bans a loyal customer for no reason who didn't even say anything negative to him. Completely unhinged. See a therapist dude. It was a mistake supporting that business all this time. I ordered the Pad Thai Chicken with a level 3 spice, and I got an iced Thai Tea. The Pad Thai entree is everything you could want in a Pad Thai dish done right. I loved everything about it and out of the many Asian restaurants I've been to in the area, their eggrolls are my favorite and at the top of my list. My Chicken Pad Thai was decent. The spice level was perfect, flavor was good, and the portion size was very nice. For me, I feel like flavor could've been a little stronger, it just felt weak to me.
