Best Thai Food in Chattanooga!! Hands down, you won't find…read moreanother Thai Restaurant with the same quality and taste. We've had a lot of Thai food around town, but we always come find our way back to Yummy Thai food truck. We tried the brick and mortar which is owned by the same family, but the food truck is much better tasting, and the service is much faster since it's a food truck vS a restaurant. There isn't much of an ambiance, since it's parked outside of Dirty Jane's Antiques, so I would recommend they add a pop up tent with a table and chairs (if allowed) for those who want to devour the food immediately, and to also draw more attention to the business. I'm getting hungry just writing this. Enjoy!!

I've placed an order with this food truck almost every week for over 2 years. $40-$50 minimum…read moreorder, every time. Orders are always placed the exact same way. You text the business number, list what you want, and give your name, call back number, and pickup time. I literally copied and pasted from the previous text every time using the same template and just changed the food items, for 2+ years. Never had any problem until a couple weeks ago. The owner missed the time, tried to say I didn't list a pickup time, and got an attitude when I responded by sending him a screenshot showing that I did specify a time, as always. I decided to just cancel the order, still 1 hour in advance, and went somewhere else. He responded to this by blocking my phone number, effectively banning me. This is petty, vindictive, and highly unprofessional behavior towards a loyal customer who has supported his business with literally thousands of dollars over 2+ years, all because the owner had to act like someone else was at fault for his simple mistake. I wasn't even upset at all! I was just trying to alert him as rapidly as possible when I realized he had the time wrong so they didn't start the order early. Basic Customer Service - All this guy had to do was say "Oh, I didn't see that, see you at 6pm." No big deal. Instead he gets an attitude and bans a loyal customer for no reason who didn't even say anything negative to him. Completely unhinged. See a therapist dude. It was a mistake supporting that business all this time. One of the best Thai restaurants in the city. Serving flavorful and and rich yellow curries. Medium spice gives you a warm reminder of what you're enjoying. They do have a lunch special, and if you're in the area I would highly encourage you stop in an give it a try.

We came around 6 for dinner and the space inside is pretty neat. I liked the decorations, it was so colorful and bright. It's pretty in there. I ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken at medium heat, and my friend ordered a tofu curry. Honestly, I felt like the medium heat was a bit mild for me. I think I could've ordered hot and it would've been fine. The noodles were good, sauce was nice and the veggies tasted fresh. Wait time for food wasn't long at all. My Pad Thai was good, but for me I wish the sauce was a little bit more savory. Don't get me wrong, I love the classic sweet and savory sauce but this dish ended up leaning more sweet rather than having that balance. So if you prefer a slightly sweeter Pad Thai, then this would be the place for you. We also had these rice crackers with a very thick sauce that was slightly sweet that was so tasty. The crackers were very crunchy and had a nice crisp. It paired so well with the sauce on the side, it was nice. Service was excellent. It helped that it wasn't super busy when we arrived. I wanted to order a boba to-go, but I genuinely didn't have anymore room haha. I was so full. I don't think I would order a Pad Thai for me, but I'd come back to try their other noodle dishes and definitely a boba and dessert.

As such, having had Thai all over the US, I can say that this place is solidly in my top-15 locations! Ordered the PadThai and spring rolls. The rolls were generic frozen rolls you can get anywhere, but they were hot and well fried. The PadThai was quite good though and well made. I wish their spice platter had included some Prik Nam Pla, as I like that salty chili flavor, but the food didn't really need it. I knew it would be good when I could hear the wok working behing the counter and overheard the workers speaking Thai. I would say that their 'ThaiHot' was only about a general 'Hot', and definitely an Americanized 'Hot'. Regardless, would recommend and I will be back if my travels bring me close again.

So there was a good-sized parking lot with alot of parking spaces. I got the Chicken Pad Thai at medium spice and a Thai Tea with boba. My friend and I also split eggrolls. I have to say, those eggrolls were phenomenal. They were just perfect in every way, they had a very crispy golden texture on the outside. The filling was very flavorful, the meat was seasoned well. I loved everything about it and out of the many Asian restaurants I've been to in the area, their eggrolls are my favorite and at the top of my list. My Chicken Pad Thai was decent. The spice level was perfect, flavor was good, and the portion size was very nice. For me, I feel like flavor could've been a little stronger, it just felt weak to me. My entree was okay, not bad at all by any means, but it just wasn't my favorite. It didn't stand out to me. I'd probably go to another place for their Pad Thai rather than here. The Thai Tea itself was delicious, it was sweet, creamy, and still had that Thai Tea flavor that shined through. However the boba/tapioca pearls were very tough. It was very tough and hard to chew. It didn't taste like a fresh batch, they weren't soft and chewy at all so I'm assuming it's from an older batch from a couple hours ago. The inside was alright, there were many tables to sit and eat at. Once we got inside, the server told us to sit anywhere we'd like and order at the front. But once I made my way to the cashier to order, the floor was very sticky. It was noticeable with every step I took. We had a decent experience, but I'm not sure I'd return.
