Love this place. They just added Orange Chicken to the menu. I got a chance to try it. Great addition to the all ready great food. On first bite I could taste the flavors of the added veggies. Not an over powering taste just enough to know they added bell peppers and onions. My wife enjoys the chicken pad Thai, I always order the same. Her chicken pad Thai and a surprise for me (something different anything). I have not had a dish yet that I didn't enjoy. The service is great it's a family business, I always feel welcome. I really want to love this place. I've tried it now 3 times thinking maybe I was ordering the wrong thing. Nope. It's fresh and looks like it would be amazing, but the flavor just isn't there. Pad Thai is pretty good but not the best I've had. Just bland flavors. Service is good. Very clean in the restaurant. Just underwhelming food for my taste. :( read more

Oh my goodness. I try to be fair in my reviews, but this was ridiculous. Our first and last visit. We ordered appetizers, chicken and basil rolls with shrimp. Three shrimp in two rolls with one leaf of basil in each roll. Ridiculous and cheap! The chicken was sliced so thin ! Cheap!! And what really made us sick was the lack of cleanliness. Layer of dust on the napkin holder, disgusting condiments, hot oil caddy absolutely disgusting! I wonder what the kitchen looks like??? And it's not like they don't have customers, several came in while we were there. If you order to go, go and eat in the restaurant and you will see the filthy conditions. I'm sorry, but clean whats on your tables. read more

Pros: First off, I really like their food and have never been disappointed with any order. Cons: The front door is in need of cleaning. I've never seen it clean. The chili condiment tray is disgustingly nasty and is in serious need of cleaning. The ceiling tiles and air vents coated with black dust. Recently moved here from Seattle where you can throw a rock and hit either a Teriyaki, Thai, or Sushi place. Been a struggle to find anything close to good for Asian food until now. Had the Crispy Spring Rolls and while there were hot as lava, they were very good. The Beef Pad See Ew was some of the best I have had. Absolute will put this on my very small list of dine out places. Will try a new menu item next time. read more

I found real Thai food at Lemon Grass Thai in Lookout Valley, Chattanooga, TN!! Recommended by the great team at Experience Chattanooga (Ryan and Hope), my fingers were crossed. (Had tried another "Thai" recommendation this week that was supposed to be Yummy -- it was not.) But, I like a challenge. Having spent 4 years living in Thailand in the 1980's, am always on the hunt for authentic flavors. This is not a large place. It is at the end of a strip mall next to Wal-mart. Lots of parking!! Inside is clean and welcoming with lots of great smells!! My lunch of Phat Thai Mu (traditional stir-fried rice noodles with pork) topped with chopped peanuts and a Thai iced tea was spot on! A great caramelization on the tender pork pieces, noodles a bit spicy with green onion, fish sauce, a little sweetness with the salty and piping hot. Service was quick, people were very friendly. Ordered some massaman curry with rice to take home for dinner. Even though this place is about a 35 minute drive from my home, I'll be back!! They had fresh papaya salad (Som Tam) and ground chicken with mint and peppers (Larb Gai) on the menu. Can't wait to try them!! read more

Staying in a nearby hotel and found this tiny place based solely on the great reviews. My family loves Thai cuisine and decided to give it a try. The location and decor are completely forgettable but the food was delicious and the portions were great for the prices. Our server was friendly and attentive without being fake or overbearing. All of the staff clearly enjoyed their jobs and had great interactions with every customer who came through the doors. We all enjoyed our chosen dishes and agreed the pad Thai had a better depth of flavor than many Thai places we've tried. If we had any complaints it would be that our table was a little sticky but we didn't complain, however I'm sure the staff would have taken care of it if we had but we were too busy enjoying the food to care that much about it. The menu is limited but every dish they offer is highly customizable and they have a wide selection of condiments and spice racks available. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area. read more

This review is for a to-go order we placed yesterday. First of all, I've been very hesitant to come to this place because most Thai restaurants around the area have disappointed me. I'm from California so I suppose my expectations are difficult to meet when it comes to Asian food in general. But since this was about 3 miles from the house and I was really craving Asian food, I gave this place a shot. The prices are not too bad, I understand inflation has been a thing so there's that. But let's talk about the food now. We ordered tofu pad thai, tofu green curry, and spring rolls. I didn't eat the food right when my husband had brought it home but even then, the tofu pad thai was delicious! They really got the taste of the best ones I've been to in California. I can't imagine how much more when I eat it fresh! The taste was there and the noodle consistency was perfect! It did look like it can use more veggies like carrots or green onions - it only had a few bean sprouts and onion cooked with the noodles so it kind of blended in and not noticeable, and of course, the tofu was there and that was very good too! Overall 9.5/10 on the tofu pad thai! As for the tofu green curry, I ate it the next day and again, very tasty and delicious even after being cold and reheated! The veggies were not soggy but cooked well. The tofu was fried and blended in well. The taste of the soup of the curry was so yummy I poured as much as I could on my rice. It reminded me of the good food I've had in the Thai restaurants I've been to back in Cali. 10/10 on this one! My husband really liked the pad thai, green curry and the spring rolls as well!! I would say the spring rolls were fried well but the filling might need a little more cooking because the cabbage wasn't as soft and was still quite chewy and it pulled out the rest of the filling whenever I took a bite. Maybe it was just a bad batch but anyway, it was filled with veggies which was good! I'd say 7.5/10 on the spring rolls! I'm looking forward to returning and buy the same foods again that I really highly recommend! So glad we finally gave this place a try! Keep up the great tasting Thai food! read more

The family was craving Thai food, so we hopped on the internet to start comparing the options. Made the 50ish minute drive from Cleveland and we were not disappointed. My mom & I were craving Tom Ka and it was delicious and perfectly flavored. Amongst the table we had Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, Steamed Dumplings, Fried Spring Rolls, and Chicken Satay. My mom said she probably wouldn't order the Chicken Satay or the Green Curry again, but we were impressed with everything else and will definitely be returning when next in town. read more

Amazing Thai food really enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I ordered a combo, but they forgot the beef and chicken on two of the dishes. That being said, the food was amazing. My wife and I ordered their special cream cheese, Rangoon, vegetable spring rolls, Tom kha soup, Pad, Thai, and spicy basil noodle. All the dishes were full of flavor. We ordered them in a medium for the spice level, but probably could've gone with the spicy and still have been just fine. I always find a little humor when a "Thai" place sells pho (Vietnamese) or lo mien (Chinese). Had the pho which was good, except the beef was well done and gray not the rare pink that you'd expect when it arrives. Service was quick and friendly. Deliciously fresh, light and flavorful food in a relaxing atmosphere with the best service!!! That is what we experienced today at Lemongrass Thai Restaurant in Chattanooga. Our talented chefs were Than and Vieng, and our friendly service was provided by Jordan. Vieng stopped by our table a few times to check on our meal. My husband had Panang Curry with tofu that he ordered extra spicy. It was just as requested. The spring rolls were so crispy and full of vegetables! My Red Curry with chicken was sweet with a lovely basil essence. Each curry dish came with a generous serving of perfectly cooked steamed rice. We ordered sticky rice with mango for dessert! Yummy!!! Oh and my husband tried the Thai Iced Tea which he loved! We will return whenever we're in the area. We only wish we lived closer so we could enjoy it often. read more
