Honestly so disappointed in the food and service in this visit. We were sat at a booth with food in the seats and the table had sauce still on it. I also found it hard to talk to our waitress, every time someone ordered or talked to her there was an unexpected tone. Basically she made us feel stupid for trying to order. Being from Los Angeles, I have abundant choices for fresh, authentic Chinese food that doesn't involve a chain such as this. But when you are traveling, there are times you seek out the convenient places, even if they are a chain. The service here was quite good. I especially enjoyed their special cocktail (I ended up having two of them!). For dinner, I had a nice salad and an order of Kung Pao Chicken. While it was a decent dinner, it came across as too salty. Their sauces are loaded with soy, therefore loaded with sodium. And while I am sure their regular customers love the saltiness, I found it took away from the true flavors of the dishes. Was it bad...no. Could it have been better...yes. I really enjoyed our experience at this location! We decided to make a reservation because we knew that it would be busy and we were right! The hostess was kind and seated us quickly! Our waitress was kind, attentive and funny! She recommended drinks and dishes! I decided to order the wonton soup, steamed shrimp dumplings and pepper steak! All of the dishes were delicious! My wife, Leslie and I ate lunch at PF Chang's today at 1.51 pm. Per the receipt, we were seated at table 42/1. The server, Jennfier took our order. And, we never, I mean never, saw her again. No one came to our table to refill our water glasses. No one came up and asked about our food. I spoke with the lady manager about it. I do not recall her name. She said, "Oh when it gets slow, some of the servers hang out in the back." What kind of lame answer was that? I asked the lady manager if she could bring my bill so we could leave. She brought my bill and yet never apologized to me or my wife. I went to the PF Chang's website and filed a complaint. This has nothing to do about food. My first time at PF Chang, we had a party of 9 for my grandsons birthday. the waitress was the best I've ever had, she was phenomenal. the food was another story, the prices in my opinion is way too high. Me and my wife had fried dumplings and pork egg rolls for appetizers, they were cold and taste was mediocre, I had the firecracker shrimp which I requested be extra spicy, it was not, it was also cold and the count of shrimp was low for the prices, my wife had the Mongolian beef we both had fried rice, the beef was also cold and very tough. I think the up charge for the fried rice was excessive $6.00 for two, total of 4 ordered fried rice, we got one bowl to share, we had to ask for more.$6.00 for a bottle of beer was also excessive, the most I've ever paid for a beer anywhere. We are in TN not NY or LA. The decor was acceptable, plain nothing special. their website leads you to expect more. I will not be going back, I can get a much better meal at a much lower price at HANA. I asked other members of our party what they thought, the main issues was that the food was cold and the prices were too high, some said the food was not seasoned right. PF Chang's is a chain that's known for 'Americanized Chinese food'. Their business model provides a much needed service for those areas like Chattanooga, Tennessee that don't have a large Chinese presence. The ambiance is the same at all P F Chang's, which is understated elegance. It's dimly-lit, large comfortable seating, combined with fresh and tasty food makes this a good selection when pressed to make a quick decision when there are otherwise few choices for Chinese food. We always enjoy our time here. The food takes a bit of time, but that just gives you time to relax and enjoy the company you're with. My favorite dish is the Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. The dinner portion is very large and shareable, as are most of the entrees. It consists of a large number of perfectly cooked tender shrimp, accompanied with a medley of shiitake mushrooms, water chestnuts, scrambled egg, peas and green onions combined in a bold, delectable and creamy lobster sauce. Some other noteworthy dishes I love to eat here are: Chicken Lettuce Wraps that you put together and do-it-yourself, with crunchy, spicy chicken inside, along with various additions that are presented alongside to choose from; Crab Wontons hand-folded onto a crispy shell and stuffed with a generous portion of fresh real crab that is combined in a soft, creamy cream cheese mixture, each won-ton is then placed on top of a spicy-sweet red pepper sauce; Sesame Chicken with sliced red peppers, broccoli florets and onion pieces, then sautéed in a dark, tangy sauce, and finally topped with sesame seeds; Crispy Honey Chicken lightly battered fried chicken breast meat is then smothered in a sticky-and-sweet honey sauce. P F Chang's currently is open for dine-in and take-out service. The restaurant practices appropriate distancing and cleaning protocols. Hostesses and servers wear masks, while patrons are not required to. There is a large inside bar serving cocktails, as well as an outdoor covered seating area. I have been a fan of Chang's for many years. I have picked up and had delivered hundreds of orders over the years. Since COVID, quality of the food has declined considerably. In the past few months I have ordered Shrimp fried rice adding chicken 5 times. Twice I had to reorder due to terrible quality. Tonight 1-8-2025 is my last time. Again, I ordered the same thing. Shrimp were hard and seriously overcooked. Chicken was hard, sparce and had NO flavor and the rice had a musty smell, was hard and flavorless. Nearly 20 years loyal and I am done. OK one of my favorite places or should I say "was". Went there Sunday around 5 PM and sat at a high top in the bar area. Waiter and waitress worked as a team and did a great job. I had the crab wontons but they were not as tasty as I remember but OK. Also had the fried rice which was good. They have draught beer (+1) which is always a plus for me. Everything was going fine and then I get the bill. They don't want to take your credit card, oh no. They want you to scan your ticket and then get out your credit card so you can manually type in your credit card number (and I am sure your expiration date and 3- or 4-digit code on the back. I tried to get them to just take my CC but they pretty much insisted on me doing it on the ticket. This isn't Walmart where I have to self-checkout. I am surprised they didn't insist I get my own food from the kitchen. If you have read my reviews, you probably know I appreciate customer service when I go out, and especially at a relatively nice place. I don't consider that customer service. Anyway, I paid with cash so I did not have to get out my reading glasses, type in my information. I guess it saves the server a trip to the register. I know this is the wave of the future but I will not go easily. As for PFC,I will reluctantly go back when I get the craving but not very often. A 4 for food and a 3 for self-service. read more

This is my second time here; the first being over ten years ago. As a Chinese American, I came here fully aware and knowing that I would be disappointed if I was expecting "authentic" Chinese food but we had a gift card and decided to check it out and were actually pleasantly surprised. We started out with the classic chicken lettuce wraps ($14) and garlic green beans ($9) and we enjoyed both dishes! The lettuce was freshly washed and soaked in water droplets but I did find a little bug on one leaf still (no big deal, they clearly tried to wash them at least) and the green beans were a HUGE entree sized portion and so so so delicious! I would love to order just the green beans and rice next time. I ordered the kids lo mein ($6 and came with some chicken and fruit salad) and my bf got the combo pad thai (chicken and shrimp) and my bf actually enjoyed my kids lo mein more than his pad thai LOL. The lo mein was cooked with perfection and had what we Chinese call "wok hei" which translates to breath of the wok; aka good wok flavor and cooked in high enough heat. Overall, the experience was decent but I am in no hurry to come back. P.s. Cocktails were pretty good. No lychee flavor in their version of Moscow mule with "lychee" listed in the ingredients though. read more

Tasty, reliable, and consistent! We love visiting the Hamilton Place location of P.F. Chang's. We always have a good experience here. If we want to change things up with the menu items, they are almost always able to do so. One of our favorites is the Mongolian Beef with green beans in place of the spring onion--it is amazing! They happily make this adjusted item for us each visit. We tried one of their seasonal items recently, the Peking Duck, and I sincerely hope they keep it for a long while because of how good it is. Service is always attentive and their to help however they can to make your dining experience everything it can be. Our go to place for Chinese inspired fare.
