Ambiance, was amazing! Beautiful, sleek and clean but still felt casual if that makes any sense. The service as always was impeccable. Our hostesses were wonderful and so quirky and kind. We love coming here! We had the Jungle Bird (for 2) delish! And their mai tais killed it! The General Erin's chicken is my new favorite and noodle dish shown below was nothing special everything else stood out. Definitely a Chatt staple! Go here if youre peckish for going "someplace nice" but don't feel like being pretentious. Happy hour is half off tiki drinks, Rangoons and dumplings! Go go go!

    Happy hour half price!

Absolutely delicious! This was our first visit. We enjoyed appetizers during happy hour. All were wonderful The sauces were the best!! The interior is beautiful, just beautiful. And the service was incredible.

Finding this level of flavor and authenticity in TN blew us away! Such a great atmosphere and super friendly service make the food that much more enjoyable. Tiki drinks on the rotation bring the fun. Shareable portions of cravable food will have me looking for an opportunity to revisit this gem. Really seriously enjoyed this meal!

The food was good, but overpriced for what it is. There was nothing phenomenal about the food to me. The service was friendly, but felt inattentive. It was lunch and there were few to no tables, but our drinks were never refilled. The location is nice and the building is quite interesting. Everything is clean, but this place is not the most disability friendly location. The menu is printed on top of a pattern making it quite hard to read the actual print especially with vision impairments. I did not see any handicap dedicated parking, but there is paid parking on the street and in front of the building. The building is flat and open enough for a wheelchair, but the large door going in would be quite difficult especially by yourself. I did not attempt to use the restroom so I can not speak of the accessibility there.

Always descent and chill! The dishes here are tasty and fresh, I recommend ! The service is ok, can use an upgrade!

Probably the best Chinese I have ever had. The flavors were truly outstanding. The restaurant was beautiful and our waitress was knowledgeable and the service was excellent. I cannot remember her name, but she was a cute little brunet with a septum ring. I cannot recommend this place enough!! We WILL be back!

This is the first time we've back since the restaurant was the Flying Squirrel. The look, has not changed at all, the service continues to be impeccable, and the new menu was a delight. We sampled the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer and for the main course, the duck fried rice and the Dan Dan Noodles. Absolutely delicious, wonderfully complex flavors that melded so well together. Our offerings were certainly not your typical Chinese food. Sorry it's taken so long to get back and try the new menu, you can rest assured, we'll be returning soon.

Crab Rangoon and dumplings went so fast we almost didn't take pictures!

Great atmosphere, food, service, and drink selection. The tiki drinks were a bit wonky from what I'm used to, but who can complain? So what the Chattanooga Gate 11 Gin is a bit harsh? So what they use blue curaçao and Agricole in their Mai Tai? Probably the first "tiki" experience many people are ever going to have and it's honestly a great entrance. Fantastic amari selection, reasonable prices for decent portions. Incredible decor. Will definitely be back at least once a month. Only negative comment I can leave is that the music was a bit too "bro-ee" and loud. I mean it was like Foster The People, Tame Impala, white, middle-class, yuppy ass music. But once again, who cares? The great food and drinks more than make up for it. 9.5/10. 100% would AND WILL bring more people here!

The service and food were absolutely amazing. My partner has not had food this good since they actually lived in China. I have a shellfish allergy and our server went above and beyond to make sure that what we ordered would be okay. The Gong Bao chicken was so good we will order it often. We were definitely sad that squirrel closed but we are so happy that Ernest came to fruition.

The food was terrific. The best Chinese in town. Seating was slow because they are short on waitstaff.

Chaos Mongolian Grill -- Where You're the Chef of Your Own Feast…read more If you love food that's as unique as you are, Chaos Mongolian Grill in Chattanooga is your playground. Here, you don't just order a meal -- you build it. Start by picking your protein from a lineup that covers all the cravings: tender chicken, juicy steak, fresh fish, plump shrimp, and more. Next, hit the seasoning station like a pro -- dried chopped onions, garlic powder, garlic salt, and plenty of other flavor-boosters are ready to make your creation sing. Then, pile on crisp veggies, crack in some eggs, and drench it all in your choice of sauces. For the base, I'm a noodle loyalist (they soak up every drop of flavor), but rice, cabbage, and other options are on deck. Once your masterpiece is stacked sky-high, the cooks work their magic on the sizzling grill and bring it to your table hot and fresh. It's not all-you-can-eat, but the "stack it as high as you can" rule means you'll still leave full and happy. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the grill team keeps things moving so you're not staring at your empty plate for long. Yes, the building shows its age, but honestly, the flavors are so bold and the experience so fun, you'll barely notice. If you're ready to unleash your inner chef and eat exactly what you're craving, this spot delivers big.
