We were looking for somewhere close to grab a bite and came across Panda Garden. They are only doing carry out orders currently. We ordered a selection of different menu items and were happy with most everything with the exception of some of the chicken (the thin sliced type). The Japanese Chicken was our favorite for the meat dishes we tried. The mixed vegetables were also largely liked. Besides the dislike for that one type of chicken, we requested no corn or mushroom in the dishes but they put them in anyway. This was not a mistake on the ticket--the cashier repeated the order--but rather the kitchen not fully reading the tickets. read more

New to Cleveland and had a crazy craving for chinese / Japanese buffet. Searched yelp and decided to give Panda Garden a try. Place was amazingly good and I found my new go to buffet. The place is a little small and snug yet fits the mood just right. One of the only buffers I've been to where there was a wait (besides Vegas). All of the food was hot and fresh and savory with every bite. My only complaint is that my stomach wasn't big enough to get more helpings. The waiter was great and checked on my multiple times to see if I needed anything and he was the only one there waiting on all the tables. Very friendly guy and happy I found a new favorite place. The price is also insane and I felt I got a steal of food for the value they gave. For as much as I ate it would have cost me $50+ in the grocery store if not more to prepare all the different types of dishes I had. You can't beat $5.49 and free sweet tea with the buffet. Had to give a great tip to the waiter just because he was awesome and very helpful even though others didn't tip him. People tip your waiter; guy was waiting on at least 20 tables alone. I have ordered takeout several times. Each time hoping it would get better. PuPu Platter is big and good. Wonton Soup is also good with plenty of Wontons. Entrees are a little different. If you ordering a combo platter, your protein and rice is together in a container. So you get half a protein. If you order the Chef's Special, rice is in a rice container an you get a full container of you vegetables and protein. The problem is, if you order something that has vegetables, you 80 to percent broccoli. I mean A LOT OF BROCCOLI. Beef with vegetables is really Beef and Broccoli ! I'm not sure how they do it, but they do. The ole Panda G is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Cleveland. It's small, it's a buffet and I often wonder how the food is prepared, but for some reason, we get the desire to eat here pretty often. My wife has recently had the flu and as she was recovering she developed a strong desire for some Panda G. She didn't want just any Chinese, she demanded some Panda Garden. This trip was not our normal trip. We took turns going in loading up to-go boxes to bring home. We enjoyed our meal at home and other than the egg rolls being a little soggy from being steamed in the box on the way home, everything was excellent. Panda Garden beats any other Chinese eatery in Cleveland, TN, hands down. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed. read more

Less Is More What distinguishes this buffet from others is prices and selection: both are less. However, it is actually a good thing because the items they do offer are top notch rather than offering a smorgasbord of so-so. Every food item is truly good. A family of three can eat for less than twenty bucks at lunchtime, and tea is included. The only thing I don't understanf is why this place isn't busting at the seams, looking for a bigger location. New Cleveland, TN resident right here. I was first taken here by family and loved this place. The lunch special is delicious and for the cost of all you can eat buffet it was fantastic. The service is good and the employees are friendly. I have been back 4 times now and love the food. Great selection and never runs out and if something does they refill right away. Highly recommend. I have not tried any other Chinese buffets out here yet to compare it too, but keep going back because it's so good. Highly recommend. read more

Decided to try this place since my favorite chinese place shut down. Went there about 6pm on a wednesday, got buffet to go and the food was aweful! Everthing was dried out and there was barely any food out at all! The things that were fried all tasted like shrimp which was weird. I guess they use the same oil? I will have to admit this is the best deal in town for lunch!!! For only $4.49 plus tax you have the choice of Thirty-One lunch combinations and it's only an additional $0.50 if you would like soup with it. Keep in mind a lot of the food is already pre-made as it is a buffet style dining and some of the items are made fresh to order for takeout orders. The customer service is a little Dry. The hostess AWas a bit not friendly and never smiles but very efficient but for that price Who cares! If you have a large family Group to feed on a small budget then lunch at panda garden would be your best deal. Now let's get to the food to starters I had the dumpling soup it was served at the right temperature and very flavorful a little the broth was a tad bit too salty for my taste but it was quite tasty. The action dumplings were delicious tender and delicate to the pallet. Four main course I had chicken lo mein with pork fried rice and he was quite lovely! I've eaten here off and on since I was in high school. The reason why? It is a great value. I believe the lunch buffet is still $4.95. This is why I'm giving it such a high rating. You can find all of your basic asian style choices, i.e. wonton soup, egg drop soup, general tsao's chicken, sweet and sour chicken, beef or pork with veggies, fried rice, sugar coated "doughnuts." Don't come in expecting to be blown out of the water because of how awesome the food is. Again, my rating is based on value, but if you eat McD's, Taco Bell, or other fast food places, for the price, your expectations shouldn't be that high in the first place. read more

To be fair; we relocated to Cleveland, TN from South Florida: this place is a hole in the wall Buffett w/barely enough room to circle the buffet; the food is ok, the broccoli and chicken and beef were my go to, along with sauté mushrooms, green beans, they have some version of fried rice and lo-mein that's -meh, 3 soups, peel and eat shrimp (when there) fried chicken wings, and sweet and sour chicken, chicken teriyaki sticks, friend shrimp(when there), Rangoon... truth is They seem to have a hard time keeping the dishes stocked as the patrons devour it as it's replenished... (the friend shrimp came out and a woman cleaned it out with out being considerate of others)- it's cheap, it's abundant so long as you eye the buffet and know when to launch for a reload. It didn't upset our stomachs and that's worth noting... We just won't be back because it just didn't do "it" for us. Great food! Helpful service! We had a party of 10 for take out. I had viewed a couple of menus and we knew what we wanted but it wasn't in a package deal. Panda Garden did a great job estimating portions for me and making sure we would have enough food. We had plenty! And it was delicious! We've eaten at most of the Asian restaurants and this was the best! I Ioved their version of Mongolian Beef! So tender! Sweet and Sour Chicken was great and their fried rice was the absolute best of all the Chinese restaurants! It was fairly priced! This will be our go-to for Chinese food in Cleveland! read more

This was only our first time, but it wasn't that great. They were almost out of everything and there's only two bars, so maybe 20-30 items.
