When I put the order in online, I was already cautious because of how high the price was and the fact that they charge extra for seemingly everything. We ordered a pu pu platter, sweet and sour chicken, honey chicken, and beef and broccoli. For the 3 sides we got 1 fried rice and 2 lo mein. Our total online was $70 and apparently they charge extra when you pay with a card because in store I was charged over $72. The biggest problem by far was that the beef was slimy and tasted like fish. It went straight to the trash. Worst I've EVER had. The honey chicken was a huge disappointment because it was basically just sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice was dry and the lo mein was extremely basic but ok. The service was ok but there was no explanation as to where the extra charge came from and with no customers there was still a mess on the tables. I tried to call 2 full hours before they were supposed to be closed and it rang and rang with nobody answering. Food is mediocre at best with moderate pricing, and I would continue to eat there as well as order takeout if the service was anywhere near par. Their service is terrible and their employees are extremely rude. And there is always a significant delay when ordering in dining room or ordering takeout. When ordering takeout, there are often items missing, and when I've asked about specific items, they get quite angry and digress into more rudeness. The restaurant itself, lacks cleanliness and ambience. When dining in house, it is extremely dark. After dropping something underneath my boot and having to use my flashlight to find it, I realized why they keep it so dark in there. My husband who never complains and would rather walk barefoot on nails than make a scene quietly told the waitress we'd rather not pay for the egg drop soups since they were uneatable. She actually argued with him saying we didn't understand how egg drop soup should taste. Well we know it shouldn't taste like sulfur or rotten eggs... so that's a start. We dined in at Six Happiness today. We were the only customers dining in during our visit. It was mostly pretty clean which can be hit or miss for similar restaurants. I ordered the Szechwan Beef which was very tasty. My wife ordered the Chicken Chow Mein. When the server brought her order it did not have any noodles. When I told the server, "This is not Chicken Chow Mein." She said, "Yes, it is". When I asked why it did not have noodles, she said "Chow Mein does not have noodles." Um excuse me, but "Chow Mein" literally means "Fried Noodles" in Chinese. Google it if you don't believe me. We had our own Christmas Story turkey incident on Christmas Day wan ended up scrambling for dinner at our daughter's house in Cleveland TN. Ended up ordering take-out from Six Happiness in Cleveland TN. First, let me tell you that there was nothing "happy" about this place. It was depressing and the staff was rude. We got our rather expensive dinner home (btw: even though it was takeout I tipped 20% on the bill) started to dish up right away. Nothing was even remotely good. We had chicken fried rice with chunks of raw chicken and otherwise NO flavor. The broccoli beef was horrible..cheap beef, no flavor and we wondered if it saw a wok for more then a few seconds. Extremely rude and unprofessional! I came in to pick up an order and the cashier was sitting at a table right beside the register stuffing her face while watching a show super loud on a tablet. This is my favorite Chinese place in Cleveland. They always seem to have the best meats and fresh food. It's been the same to me since they opened and since I come weekly I am now a regular. How do you know your a regular? When I park in front and they see me get out of my car, she goes and get my Coke and brings to my table as I walk in. Then ask me which one today. I rotate between Mongolian beef and the Generals chicken. Both I order with less hot. They can make anything you order more spicy hot or less if you ask them. I have been waiting on this restaurant to open beside Buffalo Wild Wings for about 2 or 3 weeks. Their grand opening was Monday. So, Everything is new in here. New tables, new silverware, new glasses, new tables, new booths, even a new fish tank with fish in it as you walk in the door. Six Happiness is categorized as Hibachi, Thai, Chinese as stated under their name, see pic. They take credit cards and you can dine in or take out. They have WiFi in here but they didn't know the password to it. However, Buffalo Wild Wings WiFi comes up in here because they are so close so I used it. Now, everybody in here speaks another language but they do have a local girl from Cleveland hired that you can communicate with. menu items ordered: Genetal TSOs Chicken with sweet tea. It came with white rice in a small bowl and it was tasty but not perfect. The main course of TSO chicken was excellent as I really enjoyed it. It was flavored just right but not too spicy. For a limited time you can get a free 2015 calendar along with a mint. They brought me mine as I didn't have to ask for it. If they forget, just ask for it as it is a great calendar for your kitchen. It's actually of a curtain shade style in a unique Chinese or Thai form. See pic. The customer service was great as I counted at least 3 people that took care of me including the only one who speaks English (clearly so I can understand). As far as parking is concerned, I recommend parking in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot as it is right next to it especially if you have a big truck like mine. Then, just walk over. There are no vegan options; however, the server, Mara, was very knowledgeable, accommodating and an overall awesome server and put together my daughter a vegan meal she could eat. We ordered red curry, Pad Thai, shrimp and beef fried rice and a put together vegan meal. They allowed me to add and omit vegetables to my curry. The food came out quickly and tasted delicious. I've seen reviews on here complaining the food is not authentic, but I challenge anyone to find many places that are; they're all Americanized.
