New China on Poplar Springs Road in Ringgold is a great place for all things Chinese food to go. The food here is fresh, well prepared, and tastes good. The staff here is very friendly and makes the entire process of getting your order very easy and simple. I was impressed with everything that they have here and they are well worth the stop for good Chinese food.

Ordered online 10 plus times in the last year. 3 times they took my money and no food. The lady cooking yells at you and says you didn't do it right. You got my money!!! Done. Love the shrimp but i refuse to be stolen from. Kung Pao Chicken normally delicious. Ambiance not inviting.

a bowl of soup with broccoli and onions

Don't order chow mein here unless you want a bowl full of nasty soggy veggies. Our normal Chinese place was closed (TAO) so gave it a try, huge mistake. Nasty over priced Chinese food. Lesson learned!

    Steamed triple delight. So good

This place surprised me. The food was quick, the service was good, and the food was pretty delicious besides all the msg and salt intake that I consumed after. I wanted a relaxing dinner at home watching tv and couldn't decide what I wanted to eat, so after the fiancé and I threw around a few ideas, we decided to give new china a try. We've seen it many times in passing to go to gutheries because they're neighbors, also within the plaza is a nail salon and food lion and a bank across the strip. We decided to order the chicken and shrimp Szechuan with veggies but not Szechuan since my fiancé can't eat spicy lol. I wanted it mainly for the broccoli, onions, carrots and mushrooms. We also ordered the hot and sour soup, and the sesame chicken. The hot and sour soup was okay, but I've had better. The sesame chicken was sweet and crunchy with yellow fried rice. It even came with an egg roll for the combination. My chicken and shrimp was delicious but I totally felt so dehydrated after from the mass salt intake after but it was worth it. It came with white rice and plenty of it. Overall, we will totally be back. Everything costed only about $20 and we had tons of left overs so overall I call it a win! 3/6/18 I just found a new favorite menu item: steamed tripled delight. It has no msg and no use of canola oil. There's steamed chicken, beef and shrimp, with a ton of yummy vegetables, and i get this with a side of rice and the sauce it comes with is delicious. I'm sure that's not as healthy so i make sure i take gentle dips. I wish they would add brown rice to the menu to help it be a little healthier. Overall my new Favorite. $10.95 for 2 meals is an awesome deal to me

Ridiculous price considering the great quality of the food.

Worst service. Called ahead and got there and still food wasn't ready and my husband waited for over 40 minutes.

One table was occupied so we were seated quickly. Our server was friendly but very hurried, making us feel rushed. Given we had not been, we needed more time than we felt comfortable taking to decide. We ordered the General Tao's Chicken as well as dumplings for an appetizer. The cook was not as hurried as the server and we did wait for longer than one would expect with only two tables in use. The plating made the food look good, but the taste just did not reach the level we had hoped to find. There was not much taste to the sauce on the chicken nor the heat we've become accustomed to when eating General Tso's Chicken. There was no spice at all. The dumplings were the only redeeming factor for this meal. We decided we will stick with the other Asian restaurant in town. Would go back if friends insisted on going, but this is not a place we are inclined to visit on our own.

I personally prefer it thicker and chunkier with more ginger flavor. The fried rice was a little bland, and the white sauce wasn't quite what I'm used to. That said, the service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean, which I really appreciated. I'd give it a solid 4 stars!
