The warm welcome we received as we walked inside was super nice. She was able to seat us inside right inside a large booth that had a curved back padded seats and a wooden table top. I thought the service we received was excellent. He had the right attitude and seemed to love what he does. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There was more room and our booth had all the apps and entrees spread out all over the table tops so we could plate all of them on our lunch plates. This was better than having three courses. The waiter brought our orders to the table soon after we ordered. There were generous portions that we were served and we began to devour all that goodness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The hand folded crab wontons have a creamier base that has bell peppers to green onions. The crab has brownie points from me. I could taste the crab in the bottom pocket that had a generous amount inside. I loved the crispiness that was achieved on the folded edges on top that has a crisp texture. ~~~~~~~~~~ The honey chicken had a light crisp that was achieved on the outside. The chicken was all white meat that is lean and tender. There are orange citrus flavors inside that amped up all the flavors the chicken had. Tasty, reliable, and consistent! We love visiting the Hamilton Place location of P.F. Chang's. We always have a good experience here. If we want to change things up with the menu items, they are almost always able to do so. One of our favorites is the Mongolian Beef with green beans in place of the spring onion--it is amazing! They happily make this adjusted item for us each visit. We tried one of their seasonal items recently, the Peking Duck, and I sincerely hope they keep it for a long while because of how good it is. Service is always attentive and their to help however they can to make your dining experience everything it can be. Our go to place for Chinese inspired fare. Crispy Honey Shrimp w/o the crispy noodles is so good and I would recommend it along with the Mongolian Beef w/ green beans in place of the spring onion, Lo Mien, Peking Duck (while it is available), and the Banana Spring Roll dessert. read more

Wow, what a treat! We have been on a long road trip & met friends that lived in Cleveland TN at PF Chang's. It was so beautiful inside & our hostess & server were exceptional. The food was delicious & served fairly quick. The place filled up pretty fast & everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My sister had the lettuce wraps as her meal & I had the Kung Pao Chicken. It was all so flavorful & yummy. I really enjoyed the brown rice too. Plus our company of old friends we hadn't seen in years since they moved to TN was great. Everything about PF Chang's is awesome. They always give us only a small amount of wonton strips, and when we ask for more, they give us some in a little container. I had never been to P.F. Chang's even though I love Asian food. I think the idea that it was a chain restaurant kept me from seeking it out. The building is lovely. Spacious with a modern, classic design - it is gorgeous inside. We were seated quickly and decided to get a couple of appetizers. The chicken lettuce wraps were delicious but messy. The crisp lettuce was a perfect complement to the filling. The tempura vegetables were also delicious - a good sized portion and very flavorful. Hubby and I both ordered the Surf & Turf as entrees, which came out a little too quickly. We had barely touched the appetizers and that kind of speed irks me a little when we are at a more upscale restaurant. With that said; I loved the seasoning of the dish. The shrimp was amazing, the steak very good and the lobster was okay. One odd thing, though, it had a LOT of potatoes. I can think of about 10 different vegetables which would have complemented the proteins in a better way...but for whatever reason, the dish is about 30% potato. Not a fan. Refills were hard to come by, which again, should not have been a problem. The restaurant wasn't very full. I enjoyed this restaurant and I will definitely be back but I will choose a different entree - or maybe just get a bunch of appetizers. read more

P.F. Chang's has been a classic when it comes to Asian cuisine. It has never disappoint, at least to me. Whenever I travel the world, [Paris, Beirut, California & now Tennessee], I have always been served delicious food. I had dinner at the Chattanooga location and I was not disappointed at all. It safe to say that P.F. Chang's has become one of my stable restaurants to visit wherever I am in the world. I truly appreciated Jeffrey, the Manager for going above and beyond to make sure my dietary needs were met. A friend and I were here for dinner and we decided to split two dinner plates. The Chang's spicy chicken [signature sweet spicy chilli sauce, green onion] AND Ginger chicken with Broccoli [ginger-garlic aromatics, green onions, steamed broccoli]. We thought it might not be enough since we were both very hungry, but it was more than enough. Both plates were very generous in meat and very savoury, not too salty or too heavy. As for the price, you are paying for quality food. To us the price was right and since the portions were huge and generous. As for the service, the waiter was very nice and informative. I learned that P.F. Chang's has some algorithms software that can modify the desired dish with your food restrictions to come up with a suitable solution. This way, you're not missing out on your favourite dish. Overall, the restaurant itself is absolutely amazing, very cosy and the atmosphere feels relaxing & chic. I definitely recommend P.F. Had lunch there today with our two kids, the food was good unfortunately our waiter (Kaden) completely forgot our daughters kids meal. Once he brought everybody else food we reminded him that our daughters kid meals is still missing and he admitted to completely forgetting to put it in the computer. This is exactly what happens when you try to memorize a big order instead of using the pen and paper to write stuff down. I have not had the opportunity to visit PF Changs in over 8 years but finally decided to go to dinner! So glad we did, simple meal of lettuce wraps, spring rolls and chicken fried rice between my wife and I. It was so good and so good to be back in PFC! A few months ago I went to this wonderful establishment with some out of town guest. I had been to other PF Chang's so I was vaguely familiar with the food, those times I was only there for happy hour apps.. Walking in the decor was beautiful but calming. I would even dare to say romantic. I especially liked the modern Asian fusion vibe. I have many food allergies and I appreciate the way in which this company goes above and beyond to ensure it's patron's safety. No I'm not getting a check for doing this review but I would gladly accept it. They have a special menu that the manger can and will provide for every type of allergy. Also they prepare the food in a seperate wok, and special stations according to the allergy and need. If the food is not prepared in one of those safe spaces it isn't listed on the menu. The appetizers are amazing as usual, but I wasn't blown away by my main course. Don't get me wrong it was great but I wasn't blown away. I probably will go back but it is on the pricey side. I use to frequent P.F. Chang's quite often when there wasn't one in Chattanooga. I would drive to Birmingham, Alabama for a business meeting just to eat there. I've only been to this location once before this time and I appreciate this time and remembered why I loved it so much. Upon entering there wasn't a wait though it was a little crowded, so I asked to be seated on the patio. Best decision ever. Seated by the hostess, it took a few minutes for the bartender to come through to take orders but I expected this seeing that she was the only tender of the bar and it being crowded. I had no problem when she came through with her smiling face and took orders. The waiter tag teamed the table with service. It was cool. The food was A-1 Amazing. I ordered the Dynamite Wraps, Calamari, and Vegetable Spring Rolls. Soooo good. I left the Tag Team Champions both a tip. Hopefully it said to them, great job. I'll be going back soon. read more

That's on top of the hour they already said they needed to make t. Unless the building caught fire, how could they misestimate the order time by that much? Went there for lunch with my wife on a Sunday. We were seated by the hostess but no menues, had to ask for them. Waitress took our order and we ordered the calamari for an appetizer as well as the Mongolian beef and sesame chicken, both lunch size. The calamari had zero flavor, even with the dipping sauce it comes with. The Mongolian beef was a bit salty and the fried rice was flavorless. The sesame chicken was good and the steamed rice was ok, it had more flavor than the fried rice. The tea was excellent. We have eaten at PF Chang many times in the past at different locations and this time was definitely not up to their normal standards. We didn't even bring home the leftovers of the lunch portion. Not sure we will be visiting again. read more

Lunch with the girls! Our server was impeccable, very polite and attentive... kept drinks filled and checked on our meals etc. The reasoning for 3*** is personally I didn't care for my meal. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura lunch bowl. The fried rice was good. The shrimp were really good... but all the veggies were tempura battered and fried. Way more calories than I wanted and I had no idea all the veggies would be prepared this way. Thumbs down ... sorry. Next time, I'll order something different. Incredibly, we were told today that they only had one bartender and that we could get added to a waiting list to be allowed to sit at the bar. We looked around and saw that the bar was half empty, as was the patio behind the bar. Alcohol has a big profit margin for restaurants so we were appalled by the way management handled the staffing shortage. Service is always good at PF Chang. Food always have good flavor, but take a warning when ordering Surf n Turf here. The menus describes shrimp and LOBSTER mixed with a filet. All I could imagine is the restaurant having one large lobster on hand, cooking it and dividing the meat of this one lobster to serve 25 people. If I had 4 pieces of half inch sized crispy coated lobster in this dish, it may be an exaggeration. I'm certain the coating on it took up 50% of that. It was more like a "garnish of lobster", rather than included lobster in the dish. Don't bother with this one if you are expecting to have small chunks of lobster. You will be greatly disappointed. I have been here a few times in the past several years but never did a review. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today and we were quite surprised at the quality of the food and the service. Much better than we remember. PF Chang's is an upscale chain and I've been to several different locations around the country. Our restaurant here in Chattanooga is on par with the rest. The hostess greeted me immediately and showed me to my table. The waiter was table side soon there after. He was very friendly and professional. Nice to see that some people still take pride in a job well done. My wife ordered the walnut shrimp and I ordered the Long Life Noodles with Prawns. The waiter was back with our food in about 10 minutes. Very quick considering it was in the middle of the lunchtime rush. My noodles were hot, flavorful, and spicy. Spicier than I like but I powered through it. The shrimp were awesome. Nice and crispy outside, plump and juicy inside. I didn't count but there were plenty of shrimp and noodles for me. I tried my wife's walnut shrimp and that was good also but not in the same class as mine. Overall, nice job by their staff and good food. Keep up the good work. read more

It is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful ambiance. My wife and I went for lunch and enjoyed rather mild Bloody Marys. Could have been a bit spicier, but satisfactory nonetheless. We began with their delicious chicken lettuce raps, which were quite filling, which resulted in our decision to share a lunch bowl of a favorite dish, Mongolian Beef. We were served by an excellent, attentive waiter. Sadly, however, the beef dish, while immersed in an excellent gravy, was extremely tough to chew, in fact almost inedible. We did manage to eat part of it, and very much enjoyed the sauce with our rice. We brought most of the beef home, and, after several hours in a slow cooker, had a very nice meal of it the following evening. We will return to Chang's, in hopes that this episode was merely a fluke, as we enjoyed their food on many past occasions. read more

So let me start by saying that we had a party of 12 people. I called almost every restaurant in the Gunbarrel area and was told that no one takes reservations. Well P.F. Chang's did! With this they immediately won our business. When you have three families coming together and everyone is intermingled, it can be hard for a server to know who goes on which ticket, but our server knocked it out of the park! She was sharp, efficient and super friendly. I loved that they had a gluten-free menu with several options. More and more restaurants are doing this and it makes it very easy for those who have restrictive diets. Every one of us raves about how good the food was, and there was not a single complaint from our table - not even from some of our more "challenging" family members. I know there are a lot of you who love this place. I'm happy for you. I really am. We decided to eat here again since we haven't been in several years. Unfortunately, grease was the word of the meal. The crab rangoons were greasy...to the point where oil was running down our fingers trying to eat them. They also seemed stale? We didn't finish them. The chicken in the hot and sour was mealy and mushy and very off-putting. The tofu was oddly dense and firm. However, it was dark and sour so we ate around those bits. We didn't finish it. We appreciated the just-cooked crispness of the vegetables in our dish, but again it was terribly greasy and it clouded the overall flavor potential. We didn't finish it. Our service was good and definitely no complaints there. Maybe we ordered wrong. Maybe it was an off night. Whatever it was, I just expect that when paying $50 for an app, soup and entree, we wouldn't leave anything behind uneaten. read more

Let me start by saying I travel every Sunday for work and this spot is my halfway point for stopping. My husband and I have eaten here every Sunday since December. We always eat in the bar and Kade has always been our bartender/server. He has always been attentive and gave EXCELLENT customer service!! The food is great but Kade's attention to detail is phenomenal!! Today,3-19, we arrived in bar and sat at bar. The guy there was named Krish. I asked if Kade is working tonight and was told"I think I can take care of you." RUDE!! It was downhill from there...... Had to ask for water, plates and silverware from another server AFTER our food came. Not once did he asked if the food was ok, do you need anything....nothing. We asked for our check to leave. No second rounds of drinks or dessert due to his ignoring us. The bar was busy, but I have never had this issue with Kade when it was busier than tonight.
