One thing I can rely on with Starbucks is that they do offer brewed coffee based drinks (not just espresso based drinks) and a particular, very flavorful Chai tea latte. We were in the area, running errands, and we decided to swing into this location. We were greeted and assisted by the very friendly Tracy. My hubby had recently signed up for and downloaded the Starbucks rewards app, and, just our luck, there was a $2 off a drink reward available to use, so we did! Tracy also informed us that through the app, she's noticed that Starbucks seems to send out "buy one, get one" offers on Thursdays, so keep an eye on the app. On this day, we ordered two tried and true favorites: the Caramel Frappuccino and a Chai Tea Latte (with a twist). During winter last year, we discovered the Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai Latte and fell in love with it. Unfortunately, it is seasonal and went out of rotation. Thankfully, a wonderful barista out in Las Vegas shared a concoction that we can order throughout the year, and it tastes just like it! It's ordered as a "Brown Sugar Vanilla Oatmilk Chai Latte." My friends and I were always lucky to snag a table for us those times. But coming in the morning is really pleasant. I've only gotten coffee here in the past, so this time we got food. I got a Pistachio Croffin (croissant muffin) and we shared a Berries and Cream crepe. And that first bite of that crepe was absolutely delicious. We were planning on sharing that crepe with another friend, but that crepe was so good we demolished it haha. We ended up ordering the Spinach Pesto crepe to share for later instead. But wow, I have nothing but praise for these crepes because they blew me away. The Berries and Cream crepe was just amazing. Fruits tasted fresh and juicy. The crepe itself was perfectly sweet. And the whipped cream cheese filling inside was light and creamy. I couldn't ask for more in a fruit crepe. Also the light drizzle of sweetened condensed milk on top? Chef's kiss. And then we tried the Spinach and Pesto crepe. It had all my favorite things inside, so of course I loved it. I loved the savory pesto spread inside the crepe, the spinach, ricotta, and parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. The tomatoes added a nice acidity to balance and the balsalmic glaze tied it all together on top. It felt like applause roared in my mouth. Also I can't forget the Pistachio Croffin I ate too. It had great texture, and had that subtle nutty flavor from the pistachio. I really liked it. Anyways, I'm a big Morning Brew fan.
