We decided to visit Chattanooga and grab a sweet treat...well 5 of them! Eclair, cannoli, raw cookie dough, snores cupcake and classic butter cake with chocolate frosting! All of them were very good! Food was a 9 but the service and friendly atmosphere was a 10+! If you are here in town, it's definitely worth a stop. Downside, Chattanooga has the most expensive parking, if you are here on a weekend, park on the street, it's free! However, this place is worth every penny to park!

The smell alone deserves its own Michelin star. I'm pretty sure I gained 3 pounds just inhaling. The cupcakes? Fluffy little clouds of joy. The frosting? So smooth it could negotiate world peace. The staff? Friendly enough to convince you that an extra cupcake is a responsible life choice--honestly, they're not wrong. My personal favorite was the cookies and cream, which tasted like it was handcrafted by cheerful woodland creatures with perfect credit scores. I would like this cupcake at my birthday, my wedding, and my funeral. In conclusion: Cupcake Kitchen is dangerous... in a "I suddenly understand why people write poetry about dessert" kind of way. Highly recommend. Will be returning. Probably tomorrow. Maybe tonight.

My husband got the Lavender White Chocolate. Both were PHENOMENAL!!! The BEST hot chocolate I've ever had! Even better than my ex-MIL's!!! So freaking GOOD!! There were a lot of options as far as flavors, sizes, toppings, etc. I stuck with a 12 oz white hot chocolate with whipped cream. Now the white hot chocolate was fantastic. It was real white chocolate and it was a nice bit of sweetness. But the cheesecake was unfortunately disappointing. I don't know if it was over baked or over beaten or what but it had a rubbery jello like texture that's not appealing in the mouth when expecting something different. I could only have two bites before giving up on the $9 slice. I'm torn on this review. And this is because I was so excited and hopeful to try the cute hot chocolate place with desserts that I wanted to love it. But was so disappointed with my dessert. The hot chocolate was fantastic and that being their key thing is what I would try again. But I'd probably never reorder a baked dessert from them as they are not necessarily cheap and I wouldn't want to be disappointed when there are other treat options around the area. The space itself is mountainy fun candy cottage vibe. Serves the purpose of having somewhere to enjoy the treats you've ordered inside.

Mmmm, pie. On my…read morelittle day trip to Chattanooga, I wanted to find a dessert or pastry to take home to share with my husband. It was getting late and I was also tired of walking around the city, so I wanted to find a place that I could drive to easily that would have accessible, free parking, and that was still open -- many bakecafes had already closed. A quick Yelp search revealed this place as a great option! I scooted on over and walked inside. Very friendly staff members, super welcoming. The place was clean and smelled AMAZING! No real seating inside but that's okay. They have a cooling drawer and a room temp drawer depending on the need of the pie. I'd say mostly dessert pies are available but they also have a nice selection of quiches and pot pies. Flavors/varieties rotate depending on the day. They'd sold out of a few varieties when I arrived, but I was still able to get plenty of yumminess. They have a deal for four pies at a reduced cost so that's what I got! All pies are individual though you can preorder larger pies if you need one. Since I had the ~2 hour drive back home, I of course had to opt for non-refrigerated options. I wound up with a lemon blueberry chess pie, a chocolate bourbon pecan pie, a regular pecan pie, and a chocolate chess pie. Seriously, they were all delicious! Somewhat surprisingly, I'd say my favorite was the regular pecan pie. Don't get me wrong, pecan pie is a beloved pie of mine...just thought it would go to something with chocolate. But the amount of sweetness, the ratio of gooey inside to nutty outside...just so good! Each pie had a delightfully buttery, flaky crust. You really can tell the difference -- they're the real deal. Hubs and I split a mini pie each night for four nights and the quality really didn't suffer! I'd say they're the perfect size to split, though I'm sure I also could've devoured a whole one if left unattended, lol. Would love to try more flavors in the future. If you're in the area, give them a visit!

Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

We spent some time outside before being seated, but the food and service made it worth it. I stayed in my carrier throughout the meal and was able to join my humans indoors. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and never made us feel out of place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. Dogba's verdict: Excellent brunch, friendly service, comfortable carrier dining, and unexpected goat encounters. Five paws !

Dogs aren't allowed inside unless they're service animals, but honestly, the outdoor space is where you want to be anyway. The patio is huge, with covered sections and outdoor heaters that kept us comfortable even when the weather turned rainy. We visited on a wet day and never felt like we were settling for "the dog section." The food was consistently excellent, and the happy hour menu made it an easy choice for a casual meal or drinks. My humans were happy with their food, and I was thrilled when they ordered me a side of chicken. It disappeared almost immediately, which I consider the highest possible review. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between lively and relaxed. There is plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor space feels welcoming rather than crowded. Dogba's verdict: Great food, a fantastic patio, weather-proof outdoor seating, and chicken that disappeared faster than anyone expects
