Stopped into Ben & Jerry's after taking my first year students to the Tn Aquarium. The shop is a quick walk across the street from the aquarium and offers nice cool treats after spending a day of walking around. Ice cream is a bit pricey, but the scoop size is just right for the Price. Love that they had a few dairy free options that tasted amazing. My students enjoyed the opportunity to get three different flavors with the large size! There was only one staff member, Will working, but he was quick and did a great job of remembering what we ordered for pricing. read more

Ben and Jerry's is always one of my favorites, but today it was especially good after walking around downtown Chattanooga. The other thing that is great about this Ben & Jerry's is that it is across the street from the Chattanooga Aquarium. Who wouldn't want ice cream after a fun day watching fish. I love their Phish Food flavor, but decided to try something different. This time I tried the Salted Caramel Blondie. It was delicious especially in a waffle cone. read more

It's rare to find the Ben & Jerry's storefront these days so I was so happy to see one while in downtown Chattanooga. The place is so cute, decorated all in theme, and it was packed out on a Saturday night around 9 PM with a long line of hungry guests. Although they have a long list of flavors written on the pillar, not all of the flavors are actually in stock, and only the ones on the menu behind the desk are actually available. I got a yummy fun flavor, the lights caramel action by Ava Duvernay, with delicious gobs of cookie dough throughout. I even added a soft warm chocolate chip cookie, and and it was the perfect combination. My friend tried the milk and cookies in a cone, and was raving about it, saying it was better than Oreos themselves. The staff were so friendly. We had a little joke about people who tried lots of samples, I can imagine it's not easy to be back there all night. I really appreciate this place, thank you so much! read more

Friendly service, delicious ice cream, conveniently located with awesome hours of operation. This location is perfect - right next to the Tennessee Aquarium. I was served by Becca and she was outstanding! Super pleasant and helpful. I was even able to use the 10% discount provided once I checked in on Yelp. I appreciated that! The shop itself was a bit messy and could use a good scrub down and some of the signage needed some TLC but overall we had a good experience and would recommend to others. We went late on a Friday night and were happy to grab some late night ice cream. It was pretty busy and there was a line so I can imagine it's tough trying to clean both inside and outside tables when you have such a line. read more

First off, kudos to Ben & Jerry's and this location for being accepting of all patrons and making their kind hearts and open minds known to all! This B & J sits about a block away from the Tennessee Aquarium, and while it is not a large place, it funnels folks in and out fairly quickly. We opted to pop in to get a few scoops and a milkshake. Love the flavor options and the nieces and nephews loved all the waffle cone varieties! The staff here were friendly and kind, even with a constant line of hungry sweet seekers. There were two associates actively helping the line with a third making waffle cones...they had a system and it seemed to work for them! The kiddos enjoyed a scoop or two with zero complaints and the adults got shakes...Cookie Cookie for me! Price was a bit steep as the shake cost $11.00...but I knew what I was getting into when we walked in the door. Overall, great Ben & Jerry's spot...happy to support them at this location and from afar...as supporting them means delish ice cream, and I cannot be made at that! read more

The entire store was dirty including the bathroom. We were there on a weekday (evening) and it was very busy so perhaps they just didn't have time to clean up inside. And I am not even going to mention the large roach that crawled across the floor as we stood in line to order. The staff was fast and friendly and kept the line moving along nicely. $7.50 for their smallest size scoop. Do these people not have children?! Come on now! I'm lactose intolerant and just wanted a small scoop of ice cream. The young man was nice enough to say the small has two scoops, and would give us an extra cup. Kind, but why not have a kids size?! Place was pretty dirty. Ice cream tasted old and gritty. Usually a big fan of Ben and Jerry's. Save yourself some $ and either go to Clumpies or buy a pint of Ben and Jerry's at the grocery store for the same price as a single scoop! Location of Ben n Jerry's was right near wooden city restaurant. It was the perfect place to get a quick dessert right after our meal on our walk back to the hotel. Of course it was quick service. They were out of my favorite flavors but not a big deal. For 1 scoop and no cone it cost $8.09 but when you check in you get 10% off which brought it down to $7.37. However, in my personal opinion you might as well go to Publix to buy a pint of Ben n Jerry's for the same price! But we pay for the experience and it was fun to go picking out a scoop at your local ice cream store! read more
