    Thai chicken tacos

My husband and I visited Chattanooga for July 4th weekend and tested out almost all the breweries while in town. Oddstory was hands down our favorite. They had very clean, great beer and with awesome food and amazing service. I got the Thai tacos, I highly recommend those. 10/10 will be back to this spot!.

Stopped by because my husband wanted to try the burger. Didn't realize the food is a stand within the brewery. Not a huge deal, but kinda annoying to wait in the giant line instead of having a server (it was busy). My salad was ... fine. I liked the sauce but the chicken was a tad overcooked and dry. Burger was decent but not crispy on the edges like some smash burgers. I think the food is decent if you come here to drink, but I wouldn't go just to eat. The spot is cool and would be nice to sit outside on a nice day. You can bring dogs but you have to control where they potty which seems unlikely at least with our dogs lol.

We made Oddstory our last brewery in Chattanooga before having to head to the airport. The only thing that I would say we were sad about was that they did not have any TVs and we were still in the sports mode. Luckily their wifi worked perfectly fine so we just put the game on one of our phones. They did have a few sours for me to order and enjoy and then had plenty for Ben to order. They don't do flights per se, but they do half pours. I walked around a little bit to take in the scenery as I did notice that they had food but you do have to go outside order and pick up which is no problem because it's literally right outside the door to their back patio area. The back area was full of families and furry friends. Our servers were attentive to our needs and fun to talk to. You could see that they all enjoyed each other's company as well which I believe is very important in the service industry.

The ambiance is so cute. It was still decorated for Halloween and they went all out. The wait staff was super cool and friendly. The beer I tried was delicious and called the Day Bloom. I also tried their spooky margarita and it was an amazing margarita which I wasn't sure if I could expect from a brewery. I tried their burger and it was pretty good! it wasn't the best burger I've ever had but it was sizable for sure. Their French fries were incredible and so amazing. Literally everyone at my table was eating them

10 out of 10. Highly recommended going with friend so you can share and try more. The fries are excellent both the plain and elote were fantastic. (I think they are missing a huge opportunity with cheese fries!) I only had a small bite, but the pretzel was good. (This cheese and the fries!) We ordered The OG Smash Burger Anomaly Smash Burger KFC Sando Chicken Asian Sando We cut them into fours and sampled! They were all delicious, but the Anomaly was my favorite- like a bougie Krystal. The outside patio was top tier! Dogs are allowed and there is special section for kids. This is self serve so the service was top notch. Tons of beers and a full bar to choose from! Enjoy.

Loved the ambiance of this place and their merch. Although we weren't with our kids, I could see a lot of kids here and it's definitely very family friendly.

Went here for Chattanooga Burger week so my wife could get the truffle shuffle burger. The place was packed but the staff were on top of it. Staff were friendly and food came out timely. My wife loved the burger. We also got the fish Báhn Mi. It was great. The spicy miso mayo and jalapeño crema along with the crunch of the vegetables were delish. The fish had a nice crunch as well. We got a pretzel also and it was cooked very well. It paired great with the cheese sauce and mustard. The weather was great so we sat on the patio which has a great vibe. The wildcard Belgian cherry sour was a great compliment to my meal. Highly recommend visiting Oddstory!

What a utterly pleasant experience My husband and I stopped by for a quick lunch and enjoyed every minute of it! I enjoyed the Thai tacos, flavorful and delicious moist chicken with a definite kick. My husband devoured the smash burger and loved it. Cooked well with a thousand island dressing sauce. The beer was very tasty as well. Service was excellent, and they were absolutely slammed at the time. Fast and very friendly. They took time to answer questions and offer advice on our order. The place is amazing when you walk in. Large open spaces to sit with friends and family. And large glass doors open up to an incredible outdoor space. They have everything laid out so well . Picnic tables, swings, and Adirondack chairs. And best of all, a terrific area for families, a place where the kids can play! Loved it!!

    Elote fries - amazing!!

Visiting from out of town and stopped here. It was SO good, we came back the next day after a long hike for amazing food and good beer! The outdoor space is so fun and the food really can't be beat! We had the KFC Sando, Harrisa chic sando and Elote fries the first time and then the Fish Bhan Mi the second.

Pros: Really interesting and unique sours! Good price Good food/quantity Cute outdoor seating patio Fun vibe Cons: Food takes insanely long to be ready, the only reason for a 4 star review

Looove Oddstory! Oddstory had some of the best beer in the city + they have Wednesday run clubs in collab w/ Fleet Feet which is how I met a lot of people when I first moved to Chattanooga! On top of that, their food is bomb - the fries and alllll of the sauce!!! And the outdoor space is pretty much unbeatable compared to all of the other breweries and restaurants in the area. Odd Story for the win.

I have heard rumors that kids are not allowed in breweries in Chattanooga. Is this true? Making a trip with my one-year old and I really hate to miss out on beer just because I have him with me.

Not entirely true. Some breweries opt for "no kids allowed" policies, including OddStory and Hutton & Smith. There are others that are family friendly though, like Heaven & Ale Brewing Company, Chattanooga Brewing Company, Monkey Town Brewing…

So on my first mainland trip in a couple years, I have been trying different burger shops. Jack Brown's had really high reviews, had a super fun vibe, and a really creative menu, which I love. Service was on point. Let's get the elephant out of the room right now - the size. lol I was prepared for a small burger from all the reviews, but, Shake Shack has a small burger, Jack-in-the-Box has a small burger. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight and the dog. But I ain't gonna lie, that is one tiny burger! It's like...five bites? One for each corner, and then the middle. lol They might be better off coring the middle, and marketing them as hamburger donuts. The easy fix is just order an extra patty for a few bucks more. Same as Shake Shack. The other thing I have a problem with is the, "we don't do lettuce or tomato..." line. Sorry, that's like a pizza with no toppings. Really, it just sounds like they found a way to reduce overhead by not having to prep and pay for vegetables. But whatever... if great burgers can be made without lettuce and tomato, and without a big patty...let's get it on. I'm sorry, but that patty was charbroiled to the point of no juice. This is where a tomato might help with moisture. lol I don't see how this is actually Wagyu. A Wagyu burger should be melting in my mouth. I don't know what happened, but it reminded me of my first job at Burger King, running whoppers through the flame broil conveyor belt. If you got one that just came out, you scored big time. But if you got one that just sat in the warmer for 10 minutes, you got a dry burger. It was a very disappointing burger. Then again, I just had a Shake Shack burger yesterday, and it was nomnom greasy goodness. Of course I was going to be disappointed. It's like Ozzy Osbourne following up Slipknot as the opening act. The fries were great. They came in a huge basket, and the price was very reasonable.

There's plenty of parking nearby so you don't have to walk far. This neat beer bar reminds me of the crowler shops that you used to find around Atlanta, with around 30 taps containing about a thrid local beer, so you can sample several local breweries without visiting each one (they're mostly not too near each other so this is very convenient). The taproom "beertender" seemed to be fairly knowledgeable regarding the various offerings - there's also a convenient list highlighting the different beers with style notes. We sat at the bar and were able to bring in some food from the nearby restaurants (I grabbed some wings at the nearby Marthie Ann's which were excellent). To drink I tried Hoptown's own Orange Mango Wheat - a somewhat basic wheat beer with hings of sweet tangerine and mango - nothing special. I had a Maine Brewing "Lunch" with the wings which is always a winner - it's an exceptional New England IPA. Service was great - I can see myself hitting Ooltewah just to come by for a break in driving.
