I have mix feeling about this place, but I can tell you what I do like about it first. They provide friendly service and everything on the menu is basically less than 10 dollar. Portions are pretty filling and huge. Between the two of us, we ordered the whatchamacallit, breakfast burrito, and 1/2 biscuits& gravy for $22. We even had leftovers. The burrito and whatchamacallit comes with a choice of homefries, potato skin, or hashbrown. Do the hashbrown and/or homefries. We were told the potato skin was gonna be "jojo style" - nope, not meaty like jojos and it came cold and burnt. We also thought the burrito was really bland. To say the least, I was disappointed, but walked out full. Take cash or card. Private parking area. Pretty small joint, could easily be missed if you are not paying attention. I also believe they close early, 2pm on most days. read more

Addi's is a really cool place in Springfield. It is homey little place that is so very cool. It is a throwback to old diner's of the past. Today was the first time trying Addi"s. I had the crispy chicken strip sandwich with fries and my friend had the churro waffle with bacon! It was absolutely the best seasoned chicken strips I've had in a long time! The service was amazing very friendly staff. Addi the owner is very friendly and knew my friend by name. The diner is so amazing, it is very clean - VERY CLEAN! Which I appreciate! Definitely will be returning again soon! read more

It's been a while since I've reviewed Addi's and she deserves an update! Making a spectacular breakfast is a difficult thing. Because anybody can make a good breakfast. But here's why Addi's is better: good old fashioned customer service! My husband and I have been going to Addi's for years now, but far more often in the last year, like weekly. What I love is she's open early, so my husband can stop by on his way home from work and bring me a fabulous breakfast. Addi knows us and what we order. Even when my meal varies to a couple of different items. In fact, she remembers the details of my order better than my husband does! How many restaurants can you say that about? Yeah, this is my only one. Because she remembers the little details, my order is perfect every single time. I can't say that about many restaurants right now either. But her commitment to quality and perfection, even with all the craziness of the plague and restrictions is pretty amazing and impressive. This is such a wonderful local business that deserves the support of the community, especially right now. Stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed! read more

Very friendly and attentive people working at Addi's. Had the 'Train Wreck' and it was a huge portion, also tasted good. For my liking, I needed to add some pepper and salt, but I consider that a benefit, because people can add to their own preference. The atmosphere was comfortable and felt homey. read more

If you are looking for a place to go after church or a good place for breakfast that will fill you up this is the place to go. It has good food and great staff that is always nice. I would definitely recommend the biscuits and gravy.. so good! And I'm not usually a home fries guy but these were the best I've ever had. read more

Addi's Diner is serving up some great breakfasts! Expect a bit of a wait to get a table inside the little dining room...it's worth the wait. You can also wait in your car and the hostess will call you when your table is ready. I had the corned beef hash plate with hash browns, eggs and sourdough toast. The corned beef is sourced locally and tasted great, the hash browns were nice and crispy outside & the sourdough toast was thick & buttery. Addi's was a hit among our party of five. We looked up a breakfast spot, as we wanted a good base before the college football tailgating started. Each one of us ordered something different. And each one of us loved our choices. From the burger patty breakfast, train wreck, hot cake breakfast, omelet nothing bad to say! It had been three years since the last visit. Glad to see they made it through the pandemic. I ordered the small chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Stopped here while driving through town. Great food. Great service. Quick. Small inside. Not a lot of tables but we didn't have to wait for four on a Sunday at 10am. They do not have a kids menu. I ended up just getting a plate and sharing with the kids. Plenty to share. read more

Charming place with big attitude! The food here is ALWAYS amazing. I have never had anything here that was remotely bad. Fresh ingredients, delicious coffee, friendly service. Huge portions so bring your appetite. Their daily specials are unique like the churro chicken and waffles, and their staple hash brown replacement of potato skins is out of this world. Looking for a local spot during World Track and Field Championships found Addi's Diner! It reminded me of the smaller restaurants in NY, but the food was delicious. I had the cinnamon roll French toast and would highly recommend. My daughter had the HUGE pancake we understood why 1 pancake was $9. Customer service was excellent! So this is the first time we've been out to eat in who knows how long but we were finally near this place at a time they were open and I thought, hey why not get my toddler a giant pancake... You guys this pancake is served on a freaking turkey platter!!! I had heard stories, read reviews etc. About this place and these pancakes but it's just something you need to experience for yourself! My daughter and I went in for some breakfast on a Thursday morning around 8 not too busy so that was nice. The service was friendly. We were seated immediately and our food was ready fast too. We ordered the bacon and eggs with a pancake. We did have to pay extra to get the giant one which was a little frustrating being that it's not clarified on the menu but we were there for the experience so "take my money and give me the big pancake!" The eggs were cooked well and the bacon was nice and crisp (as we requested). The pancake came served with a snapple bottle full of warm syrup and a hunk of butter almost as big as a tennis ball. We left with our bellies full and enough leftover pancake to share with our entire family! Was it the best breakfast food I've ever had in my life? Nah.. but it's definitely worth the trip to wow your out of town friends, kids, or whoever you want to put into a pancake coma for an entire day. Thanks for the fun breakfast! read more

I have been passing this place for YEARS and it was either closed or so packed there were people waiting outside. Finally got in early on a Sunday... Tried churro chicken and waffles. FANTASTIC! Gotta love an order where half the patron exclaim "WHAT is THAT!" when the plate comes out of the kitchen... and then you overhear 3 orders for the same thing. Great ambiance. Cute little "hole in the wall" diner. Came for a late breakfast. Staff was super friendly. I can tell they get a kick out of people who end up with the giant pancake without knowing about it haha. Food was fantastic, good large portions too. My dad had an iced tea, and he didn't finish it all, so he asked for a to-go cup. The server was nice enough to get him a cup and top it off too. What's most frustrating is the lack of communication and consistency. I really wanted to love and recommend this place, but after three disappointing experiences, I'd rather pay more somewhere else and actually receive what I ordered with decent service. To make matters worse, both my husband and I have had stomach issues all day after eating here. Very disappointing experience overall.

I just ate here for breakfast and the food was great!! However, for the most minor thing the owner Addi yelled at me so loud that everyone in the restaurant looked at me. I tried to brush it off that she must have a very unhappy and stressful life. Moral of the story, even if you are the owner being nice to your customers is still important even though you cannot be fired b/c you own the place!! P.S. I do psychotherapy and prescribe psychiatric medications so I am rather knowledgenable in regards to human behaviors. this was my first and last time at this restaurant. This establishment looks alright from the outside. But once inside I discovered looks can be deceiving. I had to wait way longer than you would expect just to have my server bring me a glass of ice water...? She was also rude and condescending? Why? You are in customer service. Act like it The food was just average. But the attitude of the employees was absolutely awful. Made our entire group feel unwelcomed or that we had done something wrong? First time in Springfield. I've been here six days and eaten here three times already. Everything I've tried has been fantastic. They even have finger steaks! For breakfast! The staff and owner are super friendly. The only drawbacks are that it closes in the afternoon and it's so popular sometimes it's hard to get a seat or a parking spot. read more

We probably just overwhelmed the kitchen with a large order. It came out sporadically. But it did seem the waitress only spoke to a select few in the group when asking questions. So if anyone else spoke up or tried to, she had already walked off. Food was good. We all ordered a variety of things. Portion sizes were big. I definitely took some home. Everyone enjoyed it. Parking is atrocious. While waiting for the rest of the family to arrive, my husband and I went walking around to figure out how to get out of their cramped parking lot in a big truck. The only backing up I wanted to do in this lot was into my parking space. I think Eugene/Springfield has a severe lack of 24 hour diners, so I'm thrilled that Mandy's expanded to a second location. Would I return? Not on my own accord. If the family picks it, sure. My biggest complaint here is the parking. I'm going to try the original location next though.

On a smaller bright note, the English muffin was good (though it's hard to ruin one of those), and the water tasted great. I honestly can't recommend the water enough, which is a strange thing to say about a diner visit. Final Verdict I cannot recommend this spot for breakfast in good conscience.
