Had a great breakfast here- no wait on a weekday close to noon. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delicious. I had two eggs with hash browns, bacon and a biscuit. I was able to try some of their pancake which was huge and fantastic- next time I would sub the pancake instead of the biscuit and hash browns. Service was excellent- lots of coffee refills, my son got a trophy after "finishing" his pancake (he had help), he loved it! We will be back read more

On our recent road trip from Los Angeles to Portland, we needed a bathroom/gas/lunch stop while nearing the Springfield area and happened across Addi's Diner. We didn't know anything about it, and it's difficult to tell much about a place from the outside... but we took our chances... And SO glad we did! The staff was SUPER nice and welcoming. The decor was really neat complete with parking meters, traffic lights, road signs and more in every corner you looked. There's always something new to see. The food was excellent. While I'm on a Keto diet and enjoyed my lunch, if you're not Keto, you can have some of the most amazing soul food one could imagine. Like the chicken fried steak looked unbelievable... Pure joy. They have giant refillable drinks that my son got a big kick out of and their service was spectacular. We'd definitely stop in again if in the area. read more

Visited Oregon June 2019, this was our first visit to addi's! Location: this place is so small for all the business it brings in, they deserve to expand! Such fun collectibles. Wait: Super busy, get there early! It will be worth it. Staff: Friendly. They were very attentive and chatty! Food: ABSOLUTE BEST CORN BEEF HASH AND HASH BROWNS MY FAMILY AND I HAS EVER TRIED. Most places don't know how to cook it to be just the right amount of crisp! The bacon was crisp, eggs were just as good as any eggs. Price for portion: Amazingly fair prices, them being a small diner I'd want them to charge more so they can do more with the restaurant. Excellent! Were lll in town visiting my mom and we're fortunately able to stay in walking distance of Addis. Service and food were great. We used to love coming here... A LOT! Online ordering has ruined this place. The kitchen is incredibly small and online orders take priority. Hence all the indoor customers suffer. We were number two on the list to be seated (called before we drove down). When we got there, we were moved to number three because a party of seven came in and I guess they took priority. As a business during Covid, I get it, make the cash when you can. As a customer, totally pissed me off, especially with how limited the seating is. Once we were there, it took 45 minutes to be seated just waiting in our car. We ordered immediately since we knew what we wanted. It took another 35 minutes to get our food. My chicken fried steak was over cooked, the Potatoes skins were cold, the English muffin forgotten. Once we were done eating it was another 10 min before we could pay as the staff was engrossed in figuring out how to brew coffee and answering to go orders. Not coming back until after covid, if ever again. read more

If you're going to go to Addi's diner for your meal, get the Trainwreck breakfast. Because frankly it has a little bit of everything. Eggs, cheese, meat, veggie, and gravy. Plus, you'll get a lot of food for your money. I also have to mitt that I like the old-fashioned old diner decor feel. Plus, I did see that they have massive pancakes. Perhaps an eating challenge based around then would be in order? Plus, we got good service. All in all, a solid breakfast diner. read more

We moved to California a few years ago and ever since have been on a journey to find a breakfast place as good as Addi's. Not only is the food excellent, but prices are the best you will find and the staff and owner are the kind of people you consider friends. I have said it many times but having lived around the world, this is the best breakfast I have ever had. And the bacon is the best. Period. We can't wait until our next visit! read more

Can't say enough good things about Addi's Diner! After our kids woke up at 3:45am (from our 3-hour time difference), we hopped in the car and drove to Addi's. We were met with the kindest welcome! Addi pointed out the toys in the corner, treated our kids (and us) like a million bucks, called our kids by name after hearing them, and was just lovely to talk to. And then the food. YUM! For the money, Addi's is a great diner and you will not leave hungry. An associate and I stayed at a nearby hotel that included a complimentary breakfast. Having grown weary of mediocre institutional food, I yelped for a great breakfast and learned about nearby Addie's! Our meal, coffee and friendly service was delivered at low cost, huge portions, all served on platters, not just dinner plates and a bottomless cup of coffee! I enjoyed the ham scramble that was generous portion of chunks of delicious tender ham and well prepared scrambled eggs. Hash browns and toast were included and looked fantastic on other plates that went by. I passed on the carbs as I am trying to stay on a keto diet. ($8.25 with coffee) I enjoyed looking around the small space at all of the vintage decor such as Betty Boop, parking meters, Wurlitzer juke box, old advertising signage and drive inn movie speakers. Private off street parking lot out back. Worth the stop and I will be back. The real deal for a tasty meal! read more

Wow...just outstanding! One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Got the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs, a biscuit and skins. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! The skins are sensational...a plate of those would be awesome by themselves. The steak was excellent, crispy outside and tender steak topped with a perfect white gravy. There are 3 small tables outside of you want to eat there. But it looks like most people are doing takeout or Uber delivery. read more

Quick stop for breakfast heading north. GREAT place. Small and cozy, but it wasn't very busy on a Wednesday at 8am. 10 booths and 3 4-tops. Eclectic decor. Friendly, fast service. We had the Frenchie (two full slices of cinnamon roll French toast, one egg and 2 slices of bacon) and the Big Plate (one ENORMOUS pancake, also with egg and bacon). Both were super. We both had coffee. ALL of this for $14.25. We could have easily split the pancake and still had food left over. My only complaint is that they serve Pepsi instead of Coke products. The waitress was kind enough to serve our coffee in Coca-Cola mugs, though!! It's 8:30 now and the place is nearly full! Lots of locals. Will be back. read more

I came here based on the yelp reviews and they weren't wrong. I ordered the train wreck. The amount of food that came for the cost was a deal. It was a huge pile of heaven. Biscuit was also pretty delicious. While there I noticed another table ordered a pancake. It was bigger than a large pizza. I don't even know how that's possible. I would definitely recommend. Also, the jelly is served in a squeeze bottle on the table. It took me longer than I care to admit to figure out. read more

The portions here are so large that it would be easy to overlook the quality. And the price. A giant pancake two feet in diameter is $5.50. $8 if you want sausage and eggs. My chicken fried steak was big too and like 9.75. We weren't hungry for 12+ hours. The crust on the chicken fried steak was delicious and crunchy. The pancake was thick, fluffy and still cohesive. This is the place to go! read more

Dear heavens, why does this place have four and a half stars? First of all, the place is FILTHY. The floors look they haven't been mopped in a week, and the tables were sticky and gross. And don't even think about going into their bathrooms unless it's a genuine emergency. And the food was pretty dang terrible, too. EVERYTHING (except for the corned beef, which is by nature cured) tasted saltless. The hash browns, the eggs, the pancakes (which obviously couldn't be fixed with table salt). Everything we had was bland as could be, and no amount of syrup or sauces could change that. I really could (and probably should) rate this spot 1 star, but their prices are low so I guess that's worth a generous extra star for them. read more

I love diners and their down-home unpretentiousness (and usual quirkiness), and I love diner food, with all their traditional, no-surprises fare. So I LOVE Addi's! Yes, there's a long line on weekend mornings (and there was one on the weekday morning we were there, too), but it surprisingly moved fairly quickly and my daughter and I were escorted inside and seated within 10 minutes or so. The restaurant interior is fairly small and totally NOT fancy (which I loved), with Coke paraphernalia on display and the usual linoleum and brushed aluminum tables and chairs. We were there for breakfast and I had my usual basic fare (eggs, bacon, hash browns), and my kid had a cinnamon roll pancake or waffle (I forget which. All I know is, she loved it - but ended up scraping off a lot of the sugary icing they liberally put on top of it). My meal was delicious and the hash browns were the best I've had in a long, long time (I usually leave them as they typically are too bland, or too greasy. But they were terrific here!). Service was pretty slow but the food was really good, the prices were right and the place was appropriately quirky. Oh, and it opens at 4am daily, for you early birds out there, and there's an attached parking lot, too. Two thumbs up! read more

Traveled here from southern California to try this hole in the wall. Already planning my next trip to Oregon to experience the food again! Addi does a great job keeping this place true to their tradition of being authentic and delicious. She also comes by every table personally. Portions are great for such a great price. It's a steal. I would wait hours for this place if I had to. I tell all my friends in California about this place. We're all coming soon. Strongly recommend the chicken and waffles. read more

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Stopped in for breakfast for the first time. It is a very small restaurant and there is a small waiting area indoor and outdoor. The parking lot was full but we parked on the street for free. I ordered the chili and scramble and my husband got the big daddy. The chili and scramble was very good, however the chili could have had a little more flavor. The sausage that came big daddy was very flavorful. The English muffin with jam was outstanding. So we came in hungry but left with food. Saw the pancake online somewhere but didn't realize that it could feed a family of four. They even brought the little rugrat some kid condiments to keep him occupied while we waited for our food. A great price for a great meal. We will never forget the pancake, ever. Our son had the chocolate chip pancake. Our server was very kind to our son and made sure his hot chocolate was at a drinkable temperature and was piled high with whipped cream and sprinkles. She came back several times to refill our coffee and check on us. Food was great! Would recommend!

The funny thing is, it's very basic breakfast food. But there are times that is exactly what I want, and it's always done exactly right. That is comforting, and there is something to be said for that. Restaurant is nice and clean, waitstaff friendly and helpful. Would I return? Absolutely.
