Yes, mam. i highly suggest you get the espresso milkshake. its not too thick, you do not have to wait for it to melt. the shake itself is creamy. they blend this with 100% italian espresso, not just milk. So if you're looking for that kick, look no further. keep in mind they have other seasonal flavors of the gelato to blend in for the shake. you can also buy tubs of the gelato in the freezer off to the side I also grabbed a red velvet cookie, i didnt hate this, but felt it was a little dry. I will gladly come back for the house made cannolli and another espresso milkshake.

Upon sitting down, I noticed the big grease mark on the napkin, so it should be noted that their cookies are made with high butter content. The chocolate chip cookie, though generously chipped and served delightfully warm, fell a bit flat on flavor. Similarly, the latte, while hot and satisfying, was overwhelmingly milky, lacking the robust punch of a quality espresso. Here is how it ranked: Chocolate Chip cookie: 3.5/5 stars. Good texture, high butter content, but flat taste. Latte: 3.5/5 stars. Nice and hot, good alternative milk option, but too mild on espresso. This cafe is a perfectly pleasant spot for a moment of refuge and a hot cup of something, especially if you're not concerned with a full-bodied coffee experience or a truly exceptional baked good. We also ordered a margarita flatbread and an eggplant parm sandwhich. The tomato sauce on the sandwhich and the flatbread is unbeatable. The eggplant parm sandwhich was probably the best one we've ever had. All of the pastries were amazing but the egg custard tart was my favorite. It had a hint of lemon and was super creamy. The owners were so kind and welcoming and I would definitely go back for a small coffee and pastry or for a full meal.

The latte I got was solid as well. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and the cafe is open a little later (8pm), which there is a lack of in Montclair, so I appreciate it for us night owls. The seating is also very nice and comfy. Some coffee shops it feels like they give you hard metal seating because they don't want you sitting too long. This place is the opposite. Nice cushions and even some more reclining type seating. I will be coming back for sure!
