From the first encounter, I was very pleased with the service and professionalism provided by A1 Home Roofing. The owner, Fariborz, came out and examined our roof, then provided me with an number of options. He explained everything clearly, and as a business owner myself, I could tell right away that he cared about doing the job right and at a fair price. Of course price is important, but friendly, honest service is what always makes the difference in my world! Thanks, A1! read more

Very professional. Reasonable price. Mr Ghorban checked the site every day. Finished the roofing and painting jobs on time.

We noticed pieces of our roof around our house figuring it was the wind...it wasn't. We found an advertisement in our local coupon book for A1 Home Roofing Company. Ghorban, the CEO, is amazing. We did get 3 estimates from other companies but A1 was the best value in our estimation. A1 showed up on time, kept their schedule and did an amazingly beautiful job. When they started the demo, they ended up finding quite a bit of wood rot. Not fun. Ghorban was gentle in his delivery and generous in his estimate. Our roof & gutters are beautiful. I would highly recommend A1 roofing. He also does windows & painting but we can't speak to that...yet. I will definitely be calling A1 first because of their craftsmanship and expertise. In October I met Gorban at my house in Petaluma to obtain a reroofing quote. I found Gorban easy to work with. we haggled over the price and came to a price we were both good with. He upgraded my shingles to longer lasting ones at no extra charge and scheduled the job to start in a couple of weeks. The crew started and had the job done in three days. the work was fantastic. I was happy with the work. The house looks new. If you need anything else done Gorban has access to carpenters, painters and other trades. I was happy with the job from A1 Home Roofing read more

A1 Home Roofing recently re-roofed a rental duplex in San Anselmo for us. We live out of state so much of our interactions with A1 Home Roofing were conducted via text or phone. We are very happy with the completed project. Fariborz communicated very well, keeping us updated daily or more as needed. Communications usually included photos showing work progress and any problems that may have revealed themselves. We believe A1 Home Roofing did excellent work and even went above and beyond by making a few repairs that they were not responsible for. We highly recommend A1 Home Roofing. read more

Let me start off by saying that I had dealt with several roofing companies in the Bay Area for my various properties and A1 Home Roofing was most responsive, used the best materials and was definitely the most honest and transparent about pricing and meeting my tight deadlines. Ghorban is great at getting things done quickly and with high-quality workmanship. I needed a roof and gutter replacement which was a big job because 3 layers of the previous roof needed to be removed and 75-year-old rotten plywood needed to be replaced. Not only did he do a good job replacing the roof, he went above and beyond with added extras such as ridge vents and he repaired a downspout for our neighbor. The new roof and gutter system look good and are guaranteed for life. This is the second roof I had with this company. I would recommend this very responsive company to anyone who wants high quality and a job done on time for a reasonable price. read more

Ghorban helped us out in a pinch. My mother-in-law needed a new roof but only had the money for modest repairs. Ghorban agreed to do the repairs but was very honest in explaining that the repairs can only do so much. His team started on time with great communication and even did more than what was called for in our contract. I highly recommend A1 Home Roofing Co.! read more

I located A1 Roofing via an ad in a home services magazine. I was contacted immediately by Mr. Ghorban. We established a time to come to my home and he arrived completely prepared with photos, measurements, and recommendations for the roof. He discussed options available based on the various pitches in my roof, which included three levels, 2-stories, sky lights, etc. I made a selection for a beautiful composite roof with tonal variations called Silver Birch. Mr. Ghorban called first thing the following week with a date to start the work. His crew arrived on time and were polite, expedient, professional, and thoughtful throughout the process. Each day they left the entire area clean, checking to see if I had any questions or concerns. Mr. Ghorban was communicative, thorough, involved in the process, and completely professional. He was highly responsive to our needs with very good, fair pricing. The City's Inspector arrived to my home upon completion and signed off on the project without issue. My roof is gorgeous, and, more importantly, it is solid, secure, and safe for the upcoming rainy season, and for many years to come. A1 also replaced our damaged gutters. I highly recommend A1 Home Roofing Company for trustworthy and reliable service. read more

Should really be No STARS. . STAY AWAY! Requested my 21 year old roof to be checked . Fariborz Ghorban from A 1 Roofing came and showed me satellite pictures of the roof and proceeded to tell me the cost of a new roof , (which I am not sure I need.) . Asked him how he knows it needed to be replaced without going up on the roof. At that time he informed me that nobody goes up on the roof anymore, Also informed me that there is dry rot (which is false) read more

If there is a zero star I will give it to this business. Don't even bother to contact this company. Whoever answers the calls is a very rude sarcastic and no manners. I called them to get an estimate but the person I talked to was asking me stupid questions that doesn't have any connections with regards to roofing. Why the hell will you ask a customer where's the job site and ask why is he calling from an area code different from the job site's area code does it really matters where you calling from. How stupid is that? Well I guess he doesn't need customer so they should remove all their ads anywhere. Avoid this company call somebody else. I guess if my code is 510 and live in concord I can't hire this company just saying no more comment. read more

I just replaced my roof and wanted to share the excellent experience I had. I met with Ghorban who has been a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. He has a long time expertise with roofing and was very helpful in recommending the best product and work needed for my home. I decided to get the Energy Star Cool Roof. A1 Home Roofing was the first roofing company I contacted, and I was comfortable with them, the product and the price, so I did not even need to get additional estimates! Ghorban met with me promptly and all the work was also done timely and completed as scheduled. He also personally came to my home and checked on the progress and details regularly to make sure everything was being done correctly. The crew was always on time, considerate and cleaned up daily from the debris of the job. We worked with Fariborz to replace the roof on our prior home in Danville, and his crew did a fantastic job. It was previously an old composition roof, which was in need of repair when we bought the house. Mr. Ghorban was great and worked with us through the entire process, all the way to the end. He recommended that we go with a tile roof, to match the style of the house and give the added insulation. We had a few bumps in the road (an old leaky solar water heating system had caused some severe water damage to a section unseen until the roof was removed). They were able to find solutions quickly and affordably, and had our roof water tight with minimal delays. As soon as the roof was complete, we immediately noticed the temperature in the house was much cooler due to the tile roof we had selected. Plus, it was gorgeous!!! The next time we are in need of a new roof, we'll definitely be calling A1 Home Roofing! read more
