These guys came through for me. Needed someone to clean the roof before solar installation. They came out, sent me pictures of the roof, and a quote which was competitive with the others I compared to. On top of getting the moss and algae removed, got my gutters cleaned out and few of the broken tiles replaced. Advised me on what was and wasn't worth it for future proofing. Definitely recommend them and will be using them for regular cleaning moving forward. read more

Hernandez's Roofing - Cleaning in action before left, after right - Roofing Near Me

Exceptional customer service and communication from start to finish. I requested several quotes to tarp our roof since we're still unsure about the long-term plans for the house. Most companies either declined the job as a standalone project or pushed for a full roof replacement instead. Alex reached out the next day for a bit more information, and shortly after, he sent a detailed quote for tarping the roof, complete with photos of the area he planned to work on. My husband was impressed; we're pretty sure he was the only one who actually climbed up on a ladder to inspect the roof, which our neighbor later confirmed. His team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job. After they finished, Alex sent another set of photos, which I truly appreciated since I wouldn't have been able to see the work from the ground. I highly recommend Hernandez's Roofing to anyone in need of roofing services. Their professionalism, quality of work, and outstanding customer service exceeded my expectations! read more

Just recently completed an entire fascia replacement and new gutter installation with Hernandez Roofing (Alex and his team) and all I can say was that I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. After screening 5 different contractors, I've decided to go with Hernandez's Roofing and I was so glad that I made the right decision. Of the 5 contractors, Hernandez Roofing offered the best price for the project. During the demo they discovered some wood that needed to be replaced or repaired and the additional amount was very minimal. Alex's crew were very well trained, knowledgeable and well organized. They clean up daily after work and are always on time to start the day. If I have another roofing project, I would definitely contact Alex again. Hernandez Roofing (Alex) and his team are highly recommended! read more

I just had them for repairing a roof leak. It was not a big one but they treated very seriously and did a great job! I can't be happier with the result and would absolutely use them again if I have any roof issues! Communication was easy and great! Price is very reasonable and honest! You don't even have to be at home and they will send you all the before and after pictures! Highly recommend and you won't be regret with the job they've done! read more

I would definitely recommend Hernadez's roofing. They came promptly to do an estimate. We scheduled the repair very quickly. All during a rain storm. The price quoted was more than fair. They documented everything thoroughly with pictures. They showed up on time, fixed my roof, fixed some extta things they found while doing the work free of charge, and all their staff were polite and easy to work with. I would recommend them to friends and family and would not hesitate to use them again. read more

Sadly after 2 years my roof leaked again. Called Alex and sent several texts with no response after he said he'd call me back to schedule an appointment. I assume after he realized it was not a new job, he was not interested in helping. Now I am unsure if they provide any warranty on their work. Be careful. read more

Alex came out originally for a gutter quote, but it turned out to be good timing because we also had an unexpected roof leak. He was quick in responding and was able to accommodate a visit within 24 hours of contacting him. With the heavy rains approaching, he managed to diagnose the issue, fix and seal it, and also provided a quick evaluation of the rest of our roof as well. Another atmospheric river is on the way, so we're hoping the leak is now fixed, but time will tell. Overall, we're happy with the service we received from Alex and will definitely give him a call for any of our future roof needs. read more

We discovered a leak in our roof during the last storm. Hernandez's Roofing was able to send someone to come look the same day, and since it was a simple repair they took care of it on the spot. They also inspected the rest of our roof and assured us it was otherwise in good condition. A+ service and friendly crew. read more

During the crazy rainstorms this year, we discovered a massive leak along our chimney. Since everyone was having roof problems, we couldn't even find one person to put a tarp up over our chimney until we finally called Hernandez roofing. Alex came over and installed a roof until the other roofing company (who we unfortunately signed a contract with already) could come to repair the roof weeks later. Alex was a lifesaver. Fast forward to a few days ago when we decided to finally pull our old electrical pole off the roof. We called Alex to get an estimate and he showed up on time and said he could remove the old electrical pole and equipment, patch the roof, and patch the other holes left behind that day and for a very reasonable price. We had to leave the house, and he completed all the work and even helped us patch holes on the side of our house related to the electrical. He sent us photos of the work completed and was able to answer all our questions. I cannot think of a better roofer. His professionalism, helpfulness, and kindness was above and beyond. I know if I have any other roofing needs, Hernandez roofing will be the first I call. read more

We thought we had a roof leak, and reached out to Alex. He was on our roof six hours later, carefully inspected everything, and told us that the roof was fine but that the chimney box was cracked and allowing water in. He could have easily charged us for a roofing fix we didn't need but instead took the time to uncover the true problem. Great communication, and we'd absolutely do business with him again. read more

Gave a fair quote and showed before and after pics of the gutter cleaning and minor roof repairs. They also cleaned up after completing the work, making sure there were no goopy leaves from the gutters left on the ground. read more

Honesty, coming on time, great communication and reasonable. What more can I say except I have had one of the best experiences with Alex and Hernandez Roofing. Originally I gave him 5 stars because he looked at my home roof and told me it was fine (he could have told me I need a new one). He could have made money and didn't. This is such a great character to have when one owns a business. Today he replaced my garage roof. They have worked very hard, have been neat and even painted the trim that needed to be replaced. Looking forward in a few years to having my home roof repaired by Alex. Just WOW! read more

Alex from Hernandez Roofing replied very quickly to my request for quote to repair a leak I had around my chimney and to repair dry wall inside the home. He was very professional, quick, and thorough on estimate. He ended up making a custom flash around the chimney that came out beautiful. The inside dry wall was repaired perfectly and could not even tell there was damage. This was all with a very reasonable cost. I am forever now going to be a customer with Alex. He will be doing a complete new roof replacement on another home for me next spring. Much thanks Alex and team!!! read more

I used the request quote feature on Yelp and Alex was quick to respond. I needed my flat, tar roof cleaned and inspected. Alex came out same day to inspect the roof and provided me a quote. His price was very reasonable so we arranged for him to come back the next day to do the job. Alex found like 4 inches of leaves in certain areas caked on my 1800 sq ft roof as my house is surrounded by tall trees. Alex removed all the leaves, cleared my drains, and added guards that prevent leaves from clogging my drains in the future. Alex also inspected the roof to make sure it was in good shape and I do not have any surprise leaks this upcoming rainy season. I have no pics since I can't get on the roof, hence why I paid someone to do it lol. But Alex took pics before and after to show me how much needed to be cleaned and of course how well he cleaned it after. Alex is my new go-to guy for roof maintenance. I was hearing rattling on an old skylight (on a new roof, put in by another company I would never go back to) and Alex was here within a day even though it wasn't an emergency. He was able to secure the loose piece with a screw, plus give me piece of mind that I didn't have a major issue. And, when I asked him how much I owed, he waved me off. Wow, who does that these days?! I know for sure where I'm going for any future roof or skylight work! read more

Fast and good quality work. Roof looks great and fair price. One less thing to worry about this winter..

First off, Alex is the man! I had water intrusion from the heavy rains as of late that wetted out a portion of drywall in my garage. Directly above is an exterior roof that was thought to have a leak. After having 2 other companies come out, taking a quick look from street level (spending no more than a couple of minutes) and later quoting for what they thought the remedy was (which was exorbitant in price, overdone and unnecessary) . Then, Alex and Pedro showed up did the same visual inspection from the street then got up on the roof and immediately saw the issue not readily seen from the ground. Pedro came out the next day to make the repairs. Two days later of more heavy rain and so far so good! The ceiling is drying out. It appears that their diagnosis and remedy was spot on. Responding and making repairs within a couple of days from first contact was awesome! Especially with all the weather we've been having. Great communication too. These guys work hard! I highly recommend! Thanks Alex and Pedro! No read more

If I could give this business 10 stars I would. Some of the other roofing companies I reached out too, never returned my calls. Alex got back to me the same day and came out soon afterwards. With all of the recent heavy rains, there was a leak that we were initially just going to repair. However, I knew that I was in a "roofing experts" territory after meeting with Alex and we decided to replace the entire roof. From start to finish, Alex was an excellent communicator and finished what he started; leaving us with a beautiful roof that will last for many years to come. I wouldn't waste any time with any other company and I would encourage you to get on Alex's schedule A.S.A.P. Alex is passionate about roofing and he is honest and reliable. read more

Alex helped us fix a leak that we woke up to in our second living room. Alex and his crew did an outstanding job. We went with an overlay roof repair, which was an affordable option that Alex offered. He offered multiple options, which was very helpful. I woke up on 1/9 and was wondering why there was water on the floor of my bathroom when I looked up and noticed a drip in the ceiling light fixture dripping down to the floor. It had been raining non-stop the day before and most of the last week. I groaned as I went into the attic and discovered that I had a roof leak which had been soaking the blown-insulation and apparently saturated it to the point that water was now coming into the light fixture. I did a lot of research on Yelp for roofers who had a 5 star rating. I noticed Alex had a lot of good reviews for work similar to what I needed. I asked for a quote from several bidders. Some bidders wanted an upfront inspection fee to come out. I chose bidders who were willing to inspect and give a quote for free. Alex came out with his tile guy and I was very impressed that his tile guy got up on the roof right away and started taking pics of what they had zeroed in on as the problem (being a lack of maintenance leading to debris preventing the water from draining properly around the chimney). Alex then followed me into my attic and properly inspected the wood and the compromised insulation. Alex was the only bidder willing to help me replace the compromised insulation and replace with new R-30 rigid insulation (easier to use than the blown-insulation). Alex and Pablo replaced the compromised tar paper on the roof, replaced and recut the tiles around the roof, cleaning and removing all of the debris and finished all of the work in one morning. I am very happy with the results and was able to test the results the next day when we got more rain. No leaks and Alex took plenty of pictures to show me the work in progress and the final completion pics. I will definitely be using Alex for my annual roof maintenance going forward. I almost forgot, Alex was also the only bidder who actually replaced my existing roof vent stacks with complete stainless steel vent stacks. No more maintenance required on these stacks. Typical roof vent stacks have a sleeve that needs to be sealed and end up cracking over time because of the direct sun. It was well worth the money to replace with 3 stainless steel roof vents. Alex won my award based on value, expanded scope of work, warranty and honest work ethic. I HIGHLY recommend Hernandez Roofing based on my experience! read more
