We recently had out stee-tile roof replaced by Symplify Roofing. After talking to 5 roofing contractors for quotes, we selected them because they offered a complete set of services to meet our specific needs. Our old roof consisted of steel-tile on top of a layer of wood shake. Removal would take extra effort and experience. We wanted new gutters and downspouts, new insulation, and new skylights. We selected a thicker, more shake-like composite shingle for our new roof. We appreciated that Symplify sent out a large (6+ workers) to remove the old roof and install the new one in two-and-a-half days. They also discovered and repaired some termite damage in the process. New gutters took another day. Removing the old insulation, cleaning and sealing the attic, and installing new insulation took one day. The skylights were installed the next day. About a week for the whole project. Very efficient. Between the project manager and their front office, they kept us well informed about schedules. We are extremely pleased with the results and would recommend Symplify Roofing for anyone interested in replacing their roof. read more

They were about $1,000 more expensive than my lowest bid, but also $4,000 less than my highest bid. However, the extra cost was well worth it because (1) initial walk to provide estimate provided in timely manner providing me with answers to my many questions (2) job was done on schedule and daily updates were provided with photos - i was able to see the progress while i was on a cruise to Northern Europe, and (3) they answers their email and telephone calls promptly, always being friendly and respectful. To be honest, i want to save money by going with the lowest bid, but after talking to Michael Dietrich, he convinced me to go with Symplify. If you had a chance to talk to Michael, it would be a great conversation - he is upfront, genuine, and makes you feel very comfortable that they will get the job done properly and you don't have to worry. Michael was a big reason i decide on this roofing company. After the completion and inspection, I received all the paperwork and warranty for my record. We've had a leaky roof for 2 seasons now, and finally after last winter's downpour decided it's time to replace it for good. Out of curiosity, I reached out and arranged for 6 different companies to come and give us a quote, to see how each company's approach to the customer and to the problem differed. After talking to most of them, Ethan the project manager from Symplify came down to my house and immediately started the inspection, followed by his recommendations, a personalized quote and a full breakdown of every single thing that would be required to complete the job, down to a nail. He was extremely transparent and clear, and when I expressed that we needed to get the job done fast before the fall rains came in, he promised they would have the job done in 2 days, so with permits and inspections it would take a week from start to signed off. ENTIRE ROOF REPLACEMENT IN 2 DAYS! He took the time to listen and to tailor the repair to our specific needs, adding a skylight and also replacing our old gutters, and overall was by far the most pleasant professional out of all I spoke to. I heard they have drones to take photos above. Justin came onsite while I was not home to do an estimate and later had an online meeting with me. The redecking part need to confirm by checking the gap on the wood planes inside the attic. This means they are very professional. I accepted another bid before they came onsite but I called them back when I was concerned on the reroofing/solar permit part. They are very patient and managed the price well. Bryan took the time to explain a lot of questions: warranty, timeline, roof materials, cricket, ice/water underlayment or synthetic underlayment, gutter guard materials etc. He was very courteous and knowledgeable in his replies to my questions via text. He knows exactly what materials. And when I asked how the roof area is calculated, he sent me a file showing the graph. I was impressed the roof area estimate was calculated by image processing also by human estimate.
