This place has Thai food that looks and taste like Chinese Food. A little greasy but tasty food. The problem with this place is their lunch hours. Always post to be till 1:30 PM and 90% of the time when you get there between 1 and 130, they are out of their lunch menu. This is veru unprofessional and I have reminded them many times but they ignore you. This place was across the street from my Hotel. I had flown in to San Jose. But, for some reason we stayed out here in Newark. I actually did not even know there was a Newark ,CA. Tried this place for lunch yesterday! We had the chow mein and two of the meat dishes the cashier suggested. I think one was hunan beef but I can't be sure. We plan on just pointing to the picture the next time we order lol. Everything was really flavorful and just the right level of spicy! I have been their customer for more than five years. I love their food especially the Thai spicy Chicken and also their fish. I order from here almost twice a month, sometimes more. I would say that the food averages a solid 8/10 pretty much every time. The couple of times in the past 5 years this place wasn't up to par, I make it a point to mention it to them. They are receptive to criticism so that's always a positive thing for a restaurant business, in my opinion. In any case, their portions and prices are amazing. Every dish has been good. I've been coming here for a long time, today I was served a meal with raw chicken. Will be lucky if I don't get food poisoning. Beware.

The idea of Thai fast food appealed me when I caught sight of this quaint little family-owned restaurant in Newark. I was in a big hurry, but I was starving, so I decided to try it out. They had a pretty good variety of Chinese and Thai food for take-out, so I decided to try their chicken red curry and rice. My boyfriend ordered the kung pao chicken. We both asked for it to be spicy, but to our dismay the food was terribly bland and fake looking. It looked like toy food. I rpobably won't eat here again, because although the food was edible and ok if you are in a big rush you can get a great Thai dinner (or Chinese for that matter) for just a couple dollars more. So I was introduced to this place during the playoffs of the SF Giants from my friend's gf. She brought Pad Thai from A Thai Express before the game, ate it and gave it try. That was when I fell in love with their perfect Pad Thai. I have never tasted such a juicy, spicy flavored Pad Thai ever. This is the only place I get my Pad Thai because they have all of the perfect ingredients they provide. My boyfriend happened to try their new lunch entree: Thai rice (sooo good!), broccoli beef, and kung pao chicken. It wasn't that bad, thumbs up to that. Honestly, I've never had better Thai food for so cheap outside of Thailand. The selection is limited, but you find good food. It's basically Thai fast food. All the portions are HUGE and they all cost about $6.50. We bought dinner for 3 and got a few extra dishes because the price was so low. We ended up with 3 days worth of food for under $30. And, ALL of it was good. Not "Thailand" good, but damn good Thai fast food.
